Chapter 69 - Through The Motions
President Yang glared at Kwon Jiyong who sat across from him in his office. Kwon Jiyong looked away, knowing the sharp glare of President Yang was piercing through his skin. President Yang paced the floor with his hands on his hips, pushing his suit jacket back as he did so.
"How could you be so reckless?" President Yang snapped. "Do you not hear what they're saying about you in articles?"
President Yang walked over to his desk top and began typing. He clicked on a link and then turned the computer to face Kwon Jiyong who was now looking down at his hands in his lap from shame.
"Read what it say!" President Yang snapped.
Kwon Jiyong slowly lifted his head and stared at the computer screen. "BigBang leader, G-Dragon, was spotted in District Seoul Police Department, harassing police officers to find someone. It is not- Do I really need to read all of this?" Kwon Jiyong asked.
"Fine. I'll read it." President Yang says turning the computer back to face him. "It is not yet clear who the idol was searching for, but hearing from the police officers who were stationed there, the idol was asking officers to search for his current girlfriend Park Nabi. Reporters at BeMostLike are on the search for answers. Please st-" President Yang paused to inhale an angry breath. "Please stay tuned until more information on the matter is discovered." President Yang looked at him and sighed an angry sigh. "Do you not understand what you just did? You're not a rookie idol! You're a senior idol with an image to uphold. You can't go and do stuff like this publicly."
"What do you expect me to do? Nabi is missing." Kwon Jiyong sighed.
President Yang ran a hand down his face in annoyance. "That's where you're mistaken." He says softly. "She's not missing." He says catching Kwon Jiyong's attention. "She left willingly. She left. She left you. She left me. She left everyone. She left the company. She left on her own will."
Kwon Jiyong ignored the pain that shot through him at those words. He angrily stood up and left President Yang's office. President Yang felt bad that he had to give it to him like that. The tough love style. He didn't know what else to do for him. Nabi left willingly at her own choice, that must of stung him the most. Which was why it was understandable for him to act the way he did.
"The press conference is ready President Yang." Secretary Yoo says as he entered the office.
"I'll be down."

Bae Jang Mi and Choi Seung-Hyun was currently in their home watching television. Choi Seung-Hyun laid on the couch with his head propped up on Bae Jang Mi's lap. She was just busy watching tv as she continuously ran a hand through Choi Seung-Hyun's hair while he just read a book. He wasn't paying attention to the television or what drama Bae Jang Mi was watching. Most of his attention was on his book and on Bae Jang Mi's smooth hand movements that made him feel like he was in a nice and peaceful place. Which was suddenly interrupted by Seungri rushing into their house.
"Hyung, did you hear." He says in a shocked tone.
"What?" Choi Seung-Hyun groaned out in annoyance at the regret of Seungri knowing their door lock combination.
"Park Nabi ran away and Jiyong Hyung is in big trouble." Seungri said. He yanked the remote from Bae Jang Mi's hand, which received a smack to the back of the head from Choi Seung-Hyun. "What did I do?"
"Don't take the remote away from her like that. You need to ask for it." Choi Seung-Hyun scolded.
"If the remote was pulled from anyone else, you wouldn't have said anything." He complained.
"I'm not married to anyone else." Choi Seung-Hyun shrugged.
"Okay never mind all that. What happened to Jiyong oppa?" Bae Jang Mi asked.
"Right." Seungri said turning back to the television.
He switched the channel from Bae Jang Mi's drama to the channel that was currently playing I.G.P. (Idol Gossip Page) where they talked about current things going on in the world made up of idols. From scandals down to who wore it better. All they did was gossip about celebrities and their situation. From Bae Jang Mi's knowledge, there were four cast members who covered stories. She absolutely hated the show. She definitely hated watching it. To her, it felt almost like a Korean TMZ.
(A/N: A show like this would probably never exist in Korea. Can you imagine how much lawsuits that show would get before the first episode even airs?)
"I hate this show." She said.
"Just watch." Seungri says.
As they watched, the show returned from commercial break. "Welcome back from commercial break. Finally, we're going to cover some of the juicy stories. We are now going to do the one about G-Dragon."
Another cast member of the show spoke up. "Yeah what's up with that? He's threatening police officers now?"
The lady who spoke before him nodded and spoke back up. "You're absolutely right. A police officer told reporters that he (G-Dragon) indeed threatened them."
"What is going on with YG Entertainment? A well known artist is leaving. Another actor/singer getting shot. Two of their artists were caught up in a drug scandal. Now one is going so far as to threaten cops? It's like an Entertainment company made up of thugs." Another man spoke up.
"That's not fair!" Bae Jang Mi snapped at the non-re''. "I'm going to sue them."
"Let's not jump into the whole shooting incident. That was a Sasaeng accident." A girl defended.
One of the other guys shook his head and scoffed. "Oh yeah because we should all believe everything Yang Hyun Suk says. The guy isn't trustworthy just like his artists aren't trustworthy."
"He doesn't know what he's talking about." Bae Jang Mi added annoyed.
"Yeah well anyways. From our sources, they said G-Dragon came into the station and was threatening police officers to look for Park Nabi. Everyone is wondering what happened to Park Nabi and where did she go? Those are basic questions everyone is asking on websites and even on YouTube." The first lady who spoke up said.
"What I found weird was the fact that he went into the police station to ask officers to look for Park Nabi. Later, YG officials posted on the company's website that Park Nabi isn't missing. If she isn't missing, why would a grade A idol like himself go to these lengths of trying to find her? Can we just address this issue because it doesn't make sense to me." A cast member says straightening out a stack of papers.
"Yeah it does sound funky. Just what goes on behind closed doors in YG Entertainment?" One of the male cast members asked. "What I think happened was, Park Nabi and G-Dragon broke up."
One of the female cast members shook her head in disagreement. "I don't think that's it. Why would they break up and have it stated this way? The guy wasn't even intoxicated when he did this. He did everything with a sober mind. So the relationship between the two hasn't yet been broken off. At least not officially."
"Has their relationship even been stated to be a real relationship? Has YG Entertainment ever claim them to be dating?"
Before the question could be answered, Choi Seung-Hyun snatched the remote away from Seungri and shut the television off. "They don't know anymore than we know."
"Yeah tell us what is actually going on." Bae Jang Mi scolded while folding her arms across her chest.
"So Park Nabi left." Seungri says simply.
"Left? How?" Choi Seung-Hyun asked.
"I don't know. She just left. She even gave a note to Jiyong hyung." Seungri explained.
"Why did she leave?" Bae Jang Mi asked angrily. "That's crazy to just leave like that. She didn't even say goodbye to me."
"She just did. On Hyung's note, it said that she was sorry and that he should find someone else to love. Something cheesy like that." Seungri shrugged.
Sighing, Choi Seung-Hyun decided for them to go check up on Kwon Jiyong. "Let's go."
Before anyone could move, the front door to Choi Seung-Hyun's house opened and in walked Kwon Jiyong. Daesung and Youngbae followed behind him. Seeing them enter, caused Bae Jang Mi to stand up out of the chair. She had to admit, Kwon Jiyong looked like crap. He wore tight ripped jeans a white t-shirt and a leather jacket over it. However, his face looked like he aged ten years. The bags under his eyes were noticeable and hard to avoid. His eyes bloodshot red. Bae Jang Mi could tell that he had been crying. He looked up to his members and smiled a small smile.
"I need a drink." Kwon Jiyong simply says.

This chapter made me cringe from the low quality.
