Chapter 22
Chapter 22
●●●
„I hate that they hardly put in any effort. I know we aren't a professional dance group, but
sometimes I feel like we're the only ones actually taking this seriously." Hoseok complained, sipping on his drink.
After their usual dance classes they had decided to go for a drink for once, usually Jimin just went straight home when they were finished. Mainly because the last couple of weeks going home had been something he really had been looking forward to, but Hoseok knew nothing about that.
The only thing he did know was that Jimin had made a pact with the devil – according to him – since he had started hanging out with Jungkook.
With everything that had been going on recently with Taehyung's grandma and helping Jungkook study Jimin had kind of neglected his friendship with Hoseok a bit. He was glad that Hoseok hadn't been too bitter about it though. He'd never been the type to hold grudges.
When Jimin had asked him to go for a drink the boy had easily accepted, teasing Jimin about finally acknowledging his existence again. Jimin really needed to focus on being a better friend again. He tended to easily get caught up in whatever was going on around him, completely forgetting about anything else.
"You should tell them to their face, you know? Maybe they aren't aware that it's annoying when they constantly gossip instead of focusing on practice." Jimin suggested, glancing at his phone. They were on their third cocktail already and had spent around three hours at this bar.
"You know how they are. They will go all pissy and defensive when they are called out." With a groan, Hoseok let his head hang. "Maybe we should start dancing on our own. Just the two of us learning some dances off YouTube without a teacher."
"If you still think the same when we're both sober I'm in." Jimin giggled, taking another sip from his drink.
After a while Hoseok got up, putting his drink down.
"I'll go to the bathroom. My stomach is kind of killing me right now... my mum got us some fast food from a really bad food stall. It might take a bit."
Jimin nodded, watching as Hoseok left. Taehyung was probably going to show up any minute anyways. Since Hoseok had never met either of his two boyfriends, Jimin had come up with the idea of using today to properly introduce the three of them.
For a while he just sat there, but then a guy, probably a bit older than him, took the seat Hoseok had been sitting on a minute ago. "Your friend just left you alone?"
His tone of voice sounded sympathetic, but Jimin could tell that it was just the beginning of an attempt to flirt with him. "No, he didn't. He'll be back soon." Jimin took another sip from his drink, hoping the guy would take the hint, but of course he didn't.
"So he is a friend." Jimin silently cursed at himself. He should have just said Hobi was his date or something. If he were to claim that Hoseok was his boyfriend now, he was pretty sure he wouldn't believe him.
"He is a friend, but my boyfriend is coming soon. Sorry, I'm not interested." Jimin tried to seem confident but the whole situation made him nervous. Especially because the guy didn't move. Just stayed where he was sitting.
"Don't worry, pretty, I'm just trying to get to know you." That totally was a lie. Jimin could tell by the way the guy's eyes kept flickering to his lips, as if Jimin couldn't see it.
"Listen, I'm not interested in you and don't exactly want to get to know you eith-"
"Jimin?" Relief flooded Jimin at the familiar voice. Taehyung had the best timing in the whole fucking universe.
"Ah, my boyfriend is here... was nice to get to know you." Jimin quickly got up and moved to Taehyung, who was watching the exchange with furrowed eyebrows.
"Everything alright?" His voice was soft when Jimin made his way over to him and Jimin nodded, grabbing Taehyung's hand and pulling him towards the dance floor near the bathroom area so he could easily spot Hoseok once he was done.
"Just some guy trying to pick me up." Jimin groaned, his racing heart already calming down when he felt Taehyung's hand squeeze around his. Being around Taehyung was reassuring. Since Jungkook had suggested dating a few days had passed and they hadn't really gone any further than that. Mainly because of the lack of time and the mood never being quite right.
For the most part Jimin had spent his days at uni before coming home and going through with his usual ritual of watching Vampire Diaries, this time with Jungkook and Taehyung, usually somehow cuddled up to them.
"I mean, I get that." Taehyung chuckled, letting himself be dragged along. "Where is Hoseok?"
The music was surprisingly okay loud. Not too intense and Jimin could actually hear what Taehyung was saying even though they weren't yelling at each other.
"Went to the bathroom. So we have a bit of time to ourselves." Jimin laughed, turning around to face Taehyung once they reached the spot he had wanted to get to.
"Couple time, huh? How romantic." Taehyung teased, pulling Jimin a bit closer so they were properly facing each other.
"Shut up. You guys made the mistake of picking me and I might be a bit of a sucker for romantic shit." Jimin giggled, putting his hands on Taehyung's shoulders as they swayed to the beat of the music. "Although if I think about how we met, maybe not."
Taehyung dropped his gaze in defeat. "Sorry about that."
Not being able to hold back the giggle that bubbled up in his throat Jimin reached out to run his fingers over Taehyung's cheek. "Believe it or not but there has never really been a time where I was angry... you explained the thing about dating Jungkook and I kind of understood. I was infatuated with you back then. Oh so perfect Taehyungie from my course. He's soooo handsome." He brought his hands up to his cheeks as if to hide a blush.
A warm smile spread over Taehyung's lips as he pulled Jimin closer by the waist, pressing their chests together. "You were pretty cute though. But you certainly didn't seem like it would be a good idea for you to get involved with me. I was trying to let you off easily. Give you a reason to hate me, get over your crush and find someone else to crush on who was hopefully a bit more... steady."
"By telling me my ass is perky?" Jimin laughed, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's body as he looked up at him.
"By saying that in the meanest way possible. I told you I'd fuck you but dating wasn't an option." Taehyung slowly ran his fingers over Jimin's nape.
"And look where we are now. Funny how things turned out." Jimin grinned cheekily. "You need to know, I always get my way." He declared before shaking his head. "I swear, this looks like there was a big scheme or something like that behind all of this, but I did not try to get here... at all. It just happened."
"Oh?" When Jimin felt Taehyung's hand on his cheek he leaned into it, enjoying the touch. "So you really didn't seduce Jungkook just to get to me?" It was obvious he was just joking around. Taehyung knew Jimin. They had been good friends for more than half a year now. This had been anything but intentional and they both knew it.
"My ultimate secret plan has been blown. Damn it." They were still moving to the music, but neither of their minds was really there. All Jimin could focus on was how pretty Taehyung looked up close... and how nice he smelled.
"And was seducing me worth all the hard work?" Taehyung chuckled, teasingly squeezing Jimin's ass.
"How would I know? You haven't even kissed me yet. But I doubt you're gonna be that great after Jungkook." Jimin teased.
A disbelieving smile spread over Taehyung's cheek before he tongued his cheek, clearly amused but maybe also little riled up. "You're a brat. Do you know that?"
"So I've been told." Jimin grinned, leaning more into Taehyung's body. "How about you prove to me that all that work was worth it?"
"You would like that, wouldn't you?" Taehyung tilted Jimin's head up. "Me kissing you."
"Hmmm I don't know yet." Jimin knew he was walking a fine line. If he teased Taehyung too much, he wouldn't get what he wanted at all but it was too tempting. He loved bickering with Taehyung.
When Taehyung started full on laughing, Jimin couldn't help but smile too. It was ridiculous how within a couple of months he had started feeling completely comfortable and at ease with both Taehyung and Jungkook.
"I swear to god, how the hell did I get myself two brats?" Taehyung leaned in closer again, his hands once again coming around Jimin's waist. "Seems I have a type."
"Just shut up and kiss me already." Jimin giggled, putting his hands on Taehyung's chest. "Or are you too shy to?"
"You're so..." Taehyung sighed, but it didn't change anything about that happiness Jimin could see in the way his eyes crinkled. "...insufferable."
Jimin's breath caught in his throat when Taehyung finally leaned down to him, their lips just inches apart... and then, for the first time, Taehyung was kissing Jimin.
Kissing Taehyung felt completely different from kissing Jungkook. Kisses from Jungkook were surprisingly soft. Just long enough to be called a kiss instead of a peck. They were like the afterthought of a kiss. Soft and sweet and full of affection.
Taehyung's kiss almost swept Jimin away. Maybe it was partially because of the alcohol he had consumed earlier, but Taehyung made him feel dizzy.
All of his senses filled with Taehyung. His scent. His warm touch. The way he looked at Jimin when they separated for just a second before he pulled him closer again, pressing their lips together. And while he didn't use tongue, just like Jungkook had never done that before, the kiss felt a lot more intense.
If anyone had asked Jimin to choose between the two... he really wouldn't have been able to answer. Both ways of kissing were fundamentally different, but Jimin couldn't help but crave for more with both of them.
Jimin wanted to melt into putty in Taehyung's arms... just like with Jungkook.
When they finally separated, Taehyung smiled down at him. "So, finally convinced that your grand scheme of getting to me was worth it?"
Just when Jimin was about to say something about how he had just been playing because he'd wanted to get a kiss and Taehyung was obviously worth it, he noticed someone standing next to them, looking pretty damn awkward.
"Hobi... you made it back." Well, Jimin hadn't expected to introduce Hoseok to the fact that he was dating this way, but now he was just going to with it. He moved a step back, but not without patting Taehyung's chest. "This is Taehyung. I told you a lot about him."
Hoseok blinked a few times, realization dawning on him, then he looked at Jimin with something akin to disappointment. "From what it seems like, not all there is to know."
Nevertheless Hoseok turned to Taehyung, putting on a polite smile. "Hoseok. Jimin's friend from dance class."
"I know. He talks a lot about you." At least Taehyung wasn't being as awkward as Jimin felt right now. Hoseok certainly didn't seem too happy with him and Taehyung kissing... and Jimin really wasn't too surprised about that.
After all he had heard about how his friendship with Taehyung had started too.
There were a few minutes of tension filled small talk and Hoseok kept sending Jimin these glances that totally were asking questions Jimin wasn't going to answer here. Because he knew his friend could be stubborn and his temper could get a bit heated... and Taehyung was quite similar. Even though they were peacefully talking right now, if the topic of dating Jimin were to come up there was quite a lot of potential for it to turn a lot worse.
So when Hoseok asked Taehyung if he could talk to Jimin for a bit, the key word being alone, Jimin found himself to be pretty relieved. At least now he would get to talk to Hoseok and explain everything in peace.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Well, that was a start. They had moved closer to the bathrooms again since the music was quieter there.
"It's not as bad it looks." Jimin declared, lifting his hands up in the air in surrender. Taehyung had moved over to the bar, probably to give them some privacy. Jimin would have to thank him later. Right now he felt more comfortable only having to focus on Hobi instead of having Taehyung wait right there.
"How is it not bad? He told you to your face that you have a face and body he could get off to." Jimin cringed. He really shouldn't have told Hobi all of that in detail.
"Jimin..." Hoseok sighed, leaning against the wall. "Maybe you're forgetting this but you're a virgin." He nodded in Taehyung's direction. "He is anything but. Taehyung has a reputation on campus for fucking around a lot. And with a lot I mean a lot."
Hoseok made a dramatic pause, crossing his arms. "Did he talk you into this?"
Jimin could feel himself getting angry. Hoseok was making all these assumptions about Taehyung that were anything but the truth. He knew Taehyung wasn't with him because of sex. Quite the opposite... Jimin had never felt as comfortable around anyone as he did with Jungkook and Taehyung.
Simply because they were pretty open with the fact that they were more than willing to wait for him. They had each other if they wanted to do something. There was no pressure nor expectations for Jimin.
And it made him sad that, after all the good things Jimin had told Hoseok about Taehyung, he still came to these kinds of conclusions. Sure, Jimin had told him both the pretty and the ugly, but for the most part Taehyung was the most respectful and patient person Jimin had ever met.
"We're dating." Jimin declared to get any kind of assumptions out of the way. "A couple of days ago some things happened and seeing how close we've gotten over the last six months we decided to date. This is not about sex. Taehyung never tried anything with me." Jimin pressed his lips into a line. "Please don't think badly of him. I actually asked him to come here today because I finally wanted to introduce you two."
Hoseok let out a sigh, taking a second to think about his answer before nodding. "Sorry. But are you really sure? I haven't heard anything about Taehyung dating..." Hoseok faltered, furrowing his brows. "Didn't you say he and Jungkook were dating? Did they break up?"
Jimin chuckled awkwardly. "Sooo the thing is..." He tried to find the right words, searching the room for Taehyung with his eyes, but he spotted someone else. Speaking of the devil.
"Wait a second." Jimin quickly skipped over to Jungkook, leaving Hoseok behind. At least he'd have a few seconds more to think about what to say.
When Jungkook spotted him his face lit up in the cutest way. It was funny how intimidating he had looked just seconds ago with his all black, ripped clothes, wide hoodie and tattoos, but the second he spotted Jimin his eyes crinkled as he smiled brightly.
Jimin fucking loved that boy. "Hey Jungkookie. I'm kind of explaining the whole... situation with you and Tae to Hobi right now, so maybe go to Tae for a bit. He's at the bar."
Jungkook glanced back at Hoseok, who was probably watching the two of them. Then he nodded. "How is it going?"
"Eeeh." Jimin shrugged his shoulders. "A little hard to say right now. He's really protective of me and he isn't exactly happy that I'm with someone a lot more experienced than me."
Jungkook nodded, looking back at Hoseok one last time before giving Jimin a little thumbs up. "You can do it."
Jimin giggled. "Go search for Tae."
Jungkook nodded, but before he could turn to leave Jimin grabbed his sleeve, pulling him down a little to peck his cheek. "I'll try to get this over with quickly. I'll come find you guys after."
With a soft smile tugging at his lips Jungkook nodded again. "We'll be waiting."
When Jimin got back to Hoseok, the boy had one eyebrow raised. "So what's the thing?"
Jimin sighed. He'd have to get this over with eventually. "Please try to keep an open mind right now."
Hoseok's eyebrows went even higher. They were about to fly off his head if this continued. He looked really skeptical.
"I'd say I have a pretty open mind."
Jimin pressed his lips into a thin line. He already knew Hoseok wouldn't take this well. He just had to get it over with now.
"Not only Taehyung is my boyfriend... Jungkook is too."
Hoseok's eyes widened. His first knee jerk reaction was a whispered "Are you fucking crazy?" before he let out a sigh of disbelief. "Are you serious right now?"
Jimin nodded. "Jungkook actually... started approaching me before Taehyung did." A thought popped up in his head. A way to give Hoseok a slightly better perspective. "My step dad showed up at their place and wanted to take me home with him. I panicked and was really scared, you know how much I hate him... but Jungkook stepped in and told him he wasn't taking me anywhere. He actually stood up to him and my step dad didn't do anything. He just left... and then Jungkook helped me calm down. You don't know him, but he's really sweet around me and Taehyung. His character really does a one eighty..." Jimin could see the way Hoseok's features softened a little. This was good. He had to keep this up. He had to make Hoseok aware of why he cared about these two so much.
"That's actually when..." Since he wasn't sure how to call it, he simply started another sentence. "Jungkook actually hugged me to help me calm down. Like, he was patting my hair while he listened to me talk. He's a really good listener." Jimin chuckled, well aware that this probably sounded ridiculous.
"I know this is hard to believe for you, but both Jungkook and Taehyung are so good natured, sweet and patient with me. I haven't felt this comfortable with anyone but you before. I really trust them." Jimin said slowly as if to underline every word. He really meant it.
A soft sigh left Hoseok's lips. He looked less annoyed now, but he still seemed worried. "Jimin... you've never been in a serious relationship before. Do you really think starting off with a polyamorous relationship is a good idea? You're a virgin, is a threesome really the way you want to lose your virginity?"
Jimin nodded. "It's a lot to take in but I know I can trust them, and they won't put any pressure on me. And I know that once we do something... sexual... they will take it slow. I really know I can rely on them with this and that they will take good care of me."
When Hoseok let out a defeated sigh, Jimin knew he'd won. "I don't know about this, but I hardly know them. I think you're a better judge of what is good for you and what not." He ran his hand through his hair and Jimin smiled happily.
"They really are good for me." He grabbed Hoseok's hand. "Now let's properly introduce you to my boyfriends."
The giddy feeling that started when Hoseok finally smiled as Jimin tugged him along, was totally worth all the anxiety he had felt when he thought of telling Hoseok. "Let's go see your boyfriends."
A/N
So I finished writing the main storyline so I can finally upload this again! Now the only thing missing is for me to write the smut between Vminkook, but I though that would take a little longer, so I'll give you the next 6 chapters for now and then I'll see about the smut.
It might take a little longer, but it's not directly connected to the storylines so I don't think a little break should be a problem.
Also... It's good to be back with this story. It has been a while😅
I enjoyed writing this a lot and I think you will too... also the next chapter is smut😂
Now patiently wait for a week till you get to read it~
