Grace's POV

"Tonight?" We all ask in surprise but Flora continues to smirk. She uncrosses her arms and then makes circular motions with her fingers. Glitter begins to swirl around in the air, the sparkles mesmerising the whole group.

"Something's appearing." Cleo whispers and indeed, a metal box had appeared out of thin air in the middle of the forest. The dust gradually begins to fade and then eventually, we are able to approach the solid cube.

"Flora? What's this?" Anna questions, running a finger over the top of it. I bend down towards the screen that lights up with words and numbers. I don't understand many of the words, sounding like gibberish.

"This is a power finder. It can get messed up with the machine you use to find out what powers you have but it's completely different." She begins her explanation. "I'm not sure how it works but it's able to locate a person depending on what their powers are."

"So for example, if you put Fire Powers in, the location would say Forest because Grace is in the forest. Which allows us to find the location of L." She smiles, using jazz hands to extra impress us. "Pretty good huh?"

"One hitch. What're L's powers?" Emily interrupts but Flora doesn't seem fazed by this question. "God, you've done your research this week."

"Indeed I have Miss Clefield. In L's file, it shows that his powers are Poison. Although, no one has ever seen him use his powers so I'm not sure how they worked that one out. Anyway, you just need to put poison into the computer."

Flora comes and joins me near the screen and taps onto it. A keyboard appears and she types in 'Poison.' Once she presses enter, it takes a moment for a map to show up. Flora only has to point at a green spot for me to realise what it means.

"He's at the....."

"Hospital." Mat finishes for me and not even a second passes before my heart drops. My breathing increases in speed and the feeling of faintness passes over me. "Grace!" Mat shouts in alarm as I begin to waver.

He wraps his arms around me, holding me up but all I can think about is the Hospital. "Flora. We need to get there now." The thought of Peter possibly being hurt again brings the tears to my eyes.

"I know Grace but I've got some more bad news." She says warily and I can tell by the look on her face, she doesn't want to tell me it.

"Flora. What is it?" I demand her to tell me although I'm not sure I can take anymore. She sighs before pointing the screen again where a new, white circle had appeared, next to the green one.

"I'm sorry Grace. It's May. She's with L at the hospital. And they're on the move to Peter's room." She winces and I grip Mat for support again. "Let's get going, shall we?" Flora says quickly and I nod slowly.

"We've defeated them once, we can do it again," Anna tells me, determination showing in her voice. "And when we do capture him, he will pay for what he's done to May and Peter." After all, L did try to kill Peter the last time he was conscious.

"And we will defeat that man. Besides, this time you have a destructive to help!" Cleo smiles and Flora's eyes widen. "What? I have my power defenders off!"

"And that doesn't mean you can use them! People! Why are we still standing here? Come on!" Flora hurries us all on as we hurry to the hospital

                      *** FEW MINUTES LATER ***

I run up to the front desk, out of breath after sprinting the whole way here. Mat follows behind me, the only one who was able to keep up with me on the way. The woman at the desk looks up alarmed after reading a book.

"Yes?" She asks, her eyes wide. I don't have time to smile and get straight to the point.

"Can I have a pass to Peter Edwards room, please? It's really important." I tap my nails on the desk as she sorts out my pass. But it's not until she looks at me with confusion written all over her face that I realise what they've done.

"There's someone already in there. May Edwards and plus one?" She bites her lip and I grab the pass from her hand before sprinting towards the stairs. I hear the rest of my group only just arriving.

"They're in his room!" I cry, Mat hot on my heels as we climb up the building. Why did they have to put Peter's room on the top floor?! The minute I enter the hallway of the kid's floor, I continue on my sprint.

"Grace! Wait for backup!" I hear Anna and Flora shout to me but I don't listen. Like Anna has said before, when there's a possible chance that a friend or family could be killed or injured, you won't wait for anyone.

I get to the door of Peter's room and fling it open without hesitation. Beside Peter's bed stands May and L, them both looking up when I arrive. "Get away from him!" I scream and L simple smiles.

"Good to see you here Grace." I storm into the room, the rest of my group showing up too. "Ah, and you've brought your friends. Including your little destructive." He nods to Cleo and she growls loudly at him.

"Back. Away. From my brother." I order but neither of them moves. I don't dare to look at May, scared that I'll see the evil in her that I dread. "I said. Back away!"

I shoot out fire from my hands at L but May easily defends him, her blue glossy barrier coming up. I grind my teeth together in frustration. I continue to fire my power at the pair along with the rest of my group but it doesn't get through to them.

"Guys stop!" I shout to my group, ceasing the shooting. "We'll hurt May before we hurt L at this rate. And he knows it." I glare at L, hating that he would rather allow my sister to get hurt than himself.

"Is this you giving up?" May asks and my heart shatters at the evilness that appears in her voice. But I still have one more tactic left.

"May. I know you're still in there but if you can hear me, I love you. I love you inside and out and I know that this is not you. He's changed you but there's still some good in your heart." I reach out to my sister.

"Just listen to your heart and ignore the thoughts that he's put in your head. May please!" I cry to her, begging that she listens to me. But she stays still as stone, only giving my pleading face a little look.

"I'm getting bored of this. She's not going to listen to you, Grace. May's apart of my team now." He smiles down at his partner and I shoot a couple more fireballs at him. Peter still sleeps in the corner of my eye.

"Let her go!" I shout at him and he raises a hand towards me, a green sphere getting bigger in the palm. Fear strikes my heart as I realise how this is going to end.

"I'm sorry this is how it had to end Grace. You'll never be able to see your brother conscious again." He says and the green ball comes straight for me before anyone can get in the way. It goes straight through my heart.

For a moment, nothing happens. But I begin to lose all feeling everywhere, and pain strikes me. "Grace. No, no please stay awake." Mat takes me into his arms as I fall but my eyes begin to drop quickly. "What have you done to her!?" He roars.

"Poison. She won't be waking up anytime soon. " I give one last look to my brother and sister, both of them side by side. I wasn't able to protect either of them.

"I'm sorry," I whisper but then suddenly, light fills the air. And it's not coming from Mat or Anna. It's coming from me. Bright torches come out from every part of my body. When it reaches L, he shouts in pain, the light almost burning him.

In sync, we both pass out.

May's POV

"Grace!" Mat shakes my sister's body desperately but she doesn't wake. "Flora, use your healing powers!" He shouts at the fairy.

"Mat I'm sorry. She's gone." Flora looks at me as tears fill my eyes. I've lost my sister. And I'm losing my brother. There has to be something I can do.

I shakily direct my hand at my sister but Mat reflects his back at me. "Don't you dare." He growls. "She's dead! Because of you!"

"Let me try!" I cry at him. Mat reluctantly puts down his hand as I generate my power. For a moment, nothing happens and I release a sob. "Come on Grace, pull through."

Silence. Until suddenly, Grace takes in a gasp of breath and heaves with coughs. I did it.

Grace's POV

"Come on Grace!" I hear Anna say as I splutter between coughs. When I eventually open my eyes, being blinded by the light, May kneels down in front of me. Tears flow down her face and she flings her arms around me.

"I-I'm s-sorry." She hiccups and I start to cry too. "I'm so sorry." She repeats as her body starts to shake.

"It's ok May. I forgive you. You were under his clutches, you didn't realise what you were doing." I wrap my arms around her shoulders. I feel someone tap on my back and I look up to see Flora pointing. Pointing towards Peter's bed.

The bed sheets move. Both I and May run to Peter's bed at this.

Green eyes stare back at me. "Grace?" A raspy voice says and I release a sob when I see my brother awake. "Good morning." He smiles and I wrap my arms around him.

"You're awake. Oh my god you're awake." I cry into his shoulder.

"May? Is that you?" Peter asks her and May continues to cry in happiness.

And the Edwards are back together again.

That. Was such a crap ending. I can't even comprehend how badly I've written that. But that's the best I'm going to do at 9:00 at night.

Anyway, THIS IS THE POWER COLLIDING FINALE! I hope you enjoyed it even though it was awful. Buttttttt, Peter has awoken and is back in de club! My most favourite ever boy character in all my books.
