Skya was calmly reading on her bed. Her angel wings splayed out under her. She flipped the page, humming her most recent favorite song. She put down her book and sat up to look out the window to the rest of Heaven, blowing her long blonde hair out of her face. Cloud puffs floated around, the sun beamed on to the snowy white landscape. She looked around her room.

There was a shelf on one side, stacked with ceramic dolls she had gotten ages ago. There was a fairy house hanging from the ceiling by the huge window. in the middle of the floor, there was a circle of glass looking down onto Earth.

Children and adults alike were floating around, or playing tag, or whatever else was fun, witch was basically everything. She grinned. She had died 4 years ago. Car accident. She loved it in Heaven, why wouldn't you?

Suddenly, her pod house shook. She looked outside. everyone had stopped whatever they were doing, and were now staring around in confusion. Heaven never shook. Earthquakes didn't exist.

Then, Skya saw something on the horizon. She squinted, not knowing what it was. It seemed like a shadow, running toward the village. She could hear its cackling as it drew closer. She wondered if it had come from hell. This seemed like a hellish beast. It came closer, and Skya watched, wide-eyed as it thundered into the town.

There was screaming and running and Skya froze. She didn't have anywhere to go. She looked at the glass circle in her floor that looked on to Earth. She gasped as the monster got closer to her. Closer... She had to choose.

Quickly she looked around her room, and found what she was looking for. She grabbed her bat, broke the glass,

And jumped to Earth.
