Idea:   Nung nabasa ko yung twist para sa prompt, fantasy agad yung una kong naisip. Mainstream na rin kasi para sa akin kung romance o romcom ang pipiliin ko so, ayon. Para sa fantasy, una kong naisip ang astronomy and then naalala ko yung about sa zodiacs. So, here's the story:

Once, the Jade Emperor (Emperor of Heaven in Chinese literature) thought that it's better if there'll be an assigned animal for each year so that the people can remember the Zodiac cycle easier so, he decided to create a feast with all the animals and the twelve that arrived first would be selected as the Zodiac animals.

At that time, the cat and the rat are very good friends. The day before the mentioned feast, the cat reminded his friend rat."'We should arrive there early and be part of Zodiac animals together, but I usually get up late," said the cat. The rat agreed and said, "Don't worry, I will wake you up for sure!" The cat felt assured and had a sweet dream. The next morning, day of the feast, the rat got up early and quietly left for the feast alone.

When the cat woke up, it's already afternoon. He already knew that it's too late. The selection was over because the news about the selected Zodiac animals were everywhere.

He was upset. He was disappointed. He never knew that the rat was just a fair-weather friend. He said to himself, "I'm going to get even. I swear I will. Mark my words. I'll take my precious time to plot my revenge."
