The Legend
"The great fire rushed through the city like an angry tiger, eating everything in it's path as the scurry of terrified people rushed through the fire lit streets, trying their best to escape the raging fire and the dreaded pirates that ran through the streets of London, stealing everything that glowed with value. One pirate though stood out from the rest, her black, curly hair was tied back and was mostly covered by her ripped pirate hat, she was the captain of the crew of pirate roaming the streets and was feared by all, even her cr-"
"Um....miss can we skipped to the end of her story?"
The teacher glare at the boy who rose his hand, frustrated about being interrupted on reading her favourite story to the class.
"Fine Marco, only because I've read this story to all of you before!"
Marco, the boy who called upon the teacher to skip most of the story, smiled lightly, thanking his teacher for not getting to mad over it.
Many of Marco's classmates just sat on the carpet floor drawing, not caring for the story at all. He moved his sandy-blond hair out of his dark brown eyes, showing he has full attention on the story.
"Okay, she stumbled as the long, rusty sword pieced through her chest, blood slowly trickling down her now ripped, grey baggy shirt, the Prince of evil watching her taking her last breaths, 'I will come back, I'll stop you, I will live once again but for now...your coming with me!'"
Marco sat with interest, he always loved this story, everyone says that it's just a legend spread around but Marco believed every word of it, not caring what others say.
"She grabbed the Prince and held up her ruby amulet that was shaped as a human skull, the Prince cried out, struggling in her grasp as both her and him were dragged into the amulet, not much is known of what happened after that but out there somewhere, her amulet lies in a cavern, hidden from everyone"
"And legend has it that whoever finds the amulet will release terror upon the world" Marco cried. His teacher sighed in frustration and sat down the book.
"Yep, that's right Marco, everyone it's time for lunch!" Everyone rushed out of the small classroom, hoping to get to the best food first, Marco only got up and ran over to his teacher.
"Miss, my I borrow this book?"
Turning in her chair, she passed the small boy the book.
"Thank you Miss! I promise to look after it!"
"I know you will Marco"
With glee, he sprang out of the room and into the now empty hallway, he glanced down at the book, reading the title he already knows.
