Hello guys, 13 here! I want to apologize for not updating for while. I haven't had any inspiration to write a new chapter, until now. Anyway, let me stop talking and let's start the new chapter!⚡️🌊💀💍🔥🌿

Steven's POV

I looked at my family sitting in front of me, I then looked to Pearl, my eyes asking for a way to break this easily to everyone. She gave me an understanding look and began the tale of Rose Quartz.

An hour later

"And that's how it all happened." Pearl finished, looking towards the other gems and Greg.
No one said a thing. Everyone was having mixed reactions towards Rose's choice. Just as I was about to say something to break the tension, Peridot stumbled out of the bathroom. She look horrible, her shin had gone a paler shade of green than normal, her visor was on crooked, and her hair was squished on one side.
"What did I miss? And who is she?" She said, pointing at Bismuth.
"Oh... hey Peri..." I said. "You kinda missed a lot."
"Like what? And where's Garnet?! What happened?!"
"It's a long story. I'll fill you in later, right now we need to find Sapphire. Ruby, Bismuth, and Amethyst. You should stay hear, just in case she comes back. Pearl, you and I should go look for her." I said.
"Ok." Everyone replied.
Pearl and I walked over to the warp pad. I warped us away.
A couple of hours later...
After hours is searching, we had finally found Sapphire at Rose's fountain. She was hunched over the side of the fountain, presumably crying. As soon as Pearl and I tried approaching her, several spikes of ice shot from the ground, keeping us away.
"GO AWAY!" Sapphire screamed at us as snow started to come down hard.
"Sapphire! Listen to me! I just want to help!" I yelled over the howling winds.
"There's nothing you can say to change my mind!" She yelled back as the winds continued to pick up.
I decided not to respond. I continued forward, trying to reach Sapphire. After a trying walk, I reached her and wrapped my arms around her. She was so cold it burned, but I didn't care. I kept holding on. Over time the wind and snow had stopped. Sapphire had warmed up and turned around to hug me. We stayed like that for a few minutes, her crying into my shoulder. After a while she stopped.
"T-thank you Steven. I needed that. I should have checked more into her. I just listened to her, blindly. I-" I cut her off.
"You couldn't have seen this Sapphire.   Rose... Pink... she hid this from everyone. She didn't want you all to know."
"But I don't get it. Why would she just suddenly change her mind about having a colony."
"I can explain that one." Pearl said, sitting down next to us.

(Since I don't want to write the whole reason that we got in Now We're Only Falling Apart, you can just insert it hear.)
"And that's why she changed her mind. She saw that we were taking life and leaving nothing left. She saw the beauty in this planet that the others didn't.  At the beginning, the rebellion was just to get rid of the homeworld gems, but you and Ruby changed the whole ideal. We now had something to fight for." Pearl finished.
"I understand now. Ruby and I changed the whole rebellion. Ruby!" Sapphire gasped. "I left her all alone! I said all those things to her! I have to go back immediately!"
"I'm right there with you." I said, helping Sapphire up.
The three of us walked to the warp pad and warped to the temple. When we arrived, all that was there was a note addressed to all of us.
