2nd(ish) person POV (Author)

It's a normal day for a dad and his daughter going on vacation at their private beach. Or of course that's what Heinz and Vanessa Doofenshmirtz thought at least. As they unload their car for the 2 weeks they've got there it's a nice sunny day, almost perfect to go to the beach.

The Flynn-Fletcher family on the other hand had forgotten that the land near their home was even owned it had been a while since someone was there. So casually one of the two boys had the idea to travel back to travel up to the beach. One of those boys being Phineas Flynn. A red headed merboy with a tail he and his brother added to. Now I know you guys probably think "oh these merfolks are just merfolks" but I can tell you they can have legs if they want, maybe not the most human of legs but legs.

Phineas peeks out of the water and sees that theres a car outside of the house and of course you know Phineas. Instead of going back home and telling his family, he wants to check out. Phineas walks out of the water with orange swim trunks on and red scale patched legs with webbed toes.

Phineas steps over to the car and walks around it and knocking on it a little and checking out whatever gears there are and smiles. "Wow this a cool invention. What is it??"

At that moment Vanessa walks out to get the rest of the things but stops and screams before realizing Phineas is just a boy "Hey what are you doing?!"

Before Phineas could say anything Heinz was out of the beach house faster than ever and had a bat in hand but relaxed when he saw Phineas. "Hey kid.. uh this is private property. What are you doing here?"

"Oh sorry mister. I just live around here and saw this uhm... this invitation and was really curious. What is it?!"

"Uhm... a car? Kid you havent seen a vehicle before? Helps you get places?"

"Can't say I have seen one, sir."

At this point Vanessa has noticed that his legs did not look human but before she could say anything another guy appeared, with the same legs but his scales being teal.
Perry has had more on land experience than anyone else in the family has, due to unknown work.

'I'm sorry. It's his first time seeing a working car. If you want I'll keep my family away so you folks can enjoy your vacation' but of course you can see Perry and realizing he's not talking to his family.

Phineas has seen the reality hit Perry and goes to translate for his unless until Heinz butts in. "Oh no it's fine. I always love curious minds."

Perry's POV

This human understands ASL and didn't even see everything I said. Though I definitely saw his daughter checking out our legs.

'Well thank you and sorry again. Come on Phineas, your brother has your next project ready' I start to walk around a big rock that was tight there to go back home when I hear a small "coming uncle Perry"

These people have been on that beach for like three days now, and I understand he owns the place but.... why's such a fucking cutie have to own it!?! Even Ferb finds one pretty. Ugh. His deep blue eyes and the messy hair is not fair! Plus I've gone to talk to him, he's an inventor so he's really fucking smart but he's so fucking dumb also. He tried showing me a stupid pigeon controlling machine. The idea was actually pretty smart, his reason kind of dumb but he made it off as such a cute idea. I even got his name. Its fucking cute and fits him so well. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. God a name I would take.

It's such a shame he lives right in the middle of Danville. I don't dare go one mile away from the ocean and he's definitely farther than a mile. He's so stupid if I'm not showing my scales he doesn't know it's me. Fuck he's so cute. So in other words he's fine with me being a merman.

Is it bad I think I'm in love?... me the merman who shows very little emotions is already in love.

Heinz's POV

It's been the first week since we've been here and if it wasn't for our neighbors, with the handsome uncle, Vanessa and I would have had the most boring time. But Perry the merman has really showed us around and his nephews have built us some fun things to do. His family is really sweet. Though I think I jeep showing how stupid I am to Perry the merman. One time he walked around the rock wearing a suit and pants with some 1940s hat and I was dumb enough to ask "who are you?!" His real scales really give him away. I had told him where we live and he even knows where Danville is too!

I showed him things I made, I think I even heard a chuckle about my pidgeon control one. He chuckled about my termite one too, honestly I don't blame him, those were kind of stupid. But once we gave them over for dinner his brother and him seemed to fall in love with tea. Apparently Lawrence and Linda clean up whatever trash they find around, sounds like they travel doing it too.

Ugh... is it bad I'm starting to like someone again? Let alone someone who can't even visit me?

2nd POV (author)

The two weeks end and it's time for the Doofenshmirtzs to pack up and go home and for the Flynn-Fletchers to start to forget, or try to forget, about them, except for one particular Fletcher. He refuses to forget and even is walking up to his knight with heavy arms.

'Someone as cute as you shouldn't have to leave...'

That made Heinz blush but he also sighs. "I'm sorry Perry the merman... I gave work and Vanessa's mom wants her time now."

Which both understood what that means then. They'll have to say goodbye. So they do... by Perry watching them drive away while his heart silently shatters.

It's been a few months but his nephews had found a way to keep Perry feeling safe if he's not near water. So here Perry is looking up a tall, purple building that looked awfully like Ferb's head.

"Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated" it's named.

He did it. He found Doofenshmirtz. All he has to do is ring in. Figuring out which floor he's on he clicked the botton and hears a "hello?"

Second yes, he found the right apartment too. Perry chatters hes usual chatter and the door is unlocked immediately. "Come in Perry the merman!!" He sounds so excited, it's cute.

Perry heads in and heads to the stop floor. How he gets there idk dig some imagination out yourself. He knocks on Heinz's door and almost immediately it opens. "PERRY THE MERMAN! come in come i-"

Perry didn't let him finish his words, he grabs his shirt and pulls the cute scientist into a kiss as they both both and close they'r eyes to enjoy it.
