Chapter 3

We take them out of the place, which was easy for Lina since she was able to teleport out. Apparently not as she was supposed to, because she got stuck in yet another tree outside.

"You alright there, Rose?" Bill called out from under the tree. Lina was grumbling, not enjoying her suffering as much as Bill was.

"I spent 5 years perfecting my teleportation and its being taken away from me!" she exclaimed, just as the branch underneath her gave out and she fell onto Bill.

They both let out a groan of pain, and it took us a couple minutes to get Lina off of him as she had smugly refused.

We got to the town and started introducing them to everyone. Bill was simply not interested, and Lina didn't look surprised at anyone. Well, except a few, but even we were surprised then considering how weird they were.

There was only one family left.

The Gleeful's.

I mean, yes, but also no. Dipper and Mabel would absolutely murder these two with words.

But, as we were in Greasy's Diner they were walking past. Bill's eye followed them suspisciously, asking who they were.

"They're the Gleeful twins... Its best if we don't cross their path..." I said, hiding myself.

"Huh... They look a little like Shooting Star and Pinetree, don't they, Rose?" he asked Lina. She simply looked up at her empty plate -- which she had finished long before us and had even tried to eat the plate before we stopped her -- and went back down, nodding silently

"Yep. They do, don't they?" Lina said. She moved her gaze to her fork, which glowed a faint green and hovered about half an inch off the table before returning to its normal color and dropped down -- as it had for the past 5 minutes, and the mumbled curses that followed were also the same.

Bill watched her and chuckled. "This is going to be fun. And you can't take out your stupid notebooks now, can you?" Bill asked. Lina went wide-eyed and stared at him before groaning and hitting her forehead.

"So... How did you like everything?" Pacifica asked, playing with the fuzz on her jumper.

"Everything is almost completely the opposite from where we're from. Excepting some things," Bill said. Lina didn't answer.

"And... If I may ask... Why the notebooks...?" I asked. Bill simply shrugged and Lina wasn't in a talking mood.

"Can we go now?" Lina asked. We decided it was best and left.

"So, do you guys have a lake? Like a big one?" Lina asked. Something about her tone suggested she was already expecting us to say yes.

And so we did; and came up to the lake where we went searching for the lake monster. Our second adventure in Gravity Falls.

Lina dived in, leaving us to sit and wait for her.

"Whats up with her?" I asked. I had sat next to Mabel and was facing Bill. Honestly, everything was still really confusing.

"I don't know. She's hard to find and when I do she's boring, so what do I know?" Bill said, shrugging.

A few moments later Lina emerged a few meters in holding a few things. She swam back to us, holding 4 notebooks, a pen, a photo, and a small blanket.

Bill looked at her wide-eyed. "Rose... Are you kidding me... You could be trapped in an empty room with every one of your bones paralyzed and you'd still find those things!"

Lina coughed up some water and put the things down. "Did you really... Think I made an entire dimension just to... Put these things... In...?" Lina asked. Bill nodded, although she couldn't see.

"My reversed character... Visits me... I got her to throw them in the lake... I could... Turn them invisible and... Take them in and out at will..." she said, just before she puked out more water.

Bill rolled his eyes. I was impressed.

"Wait -- so you have things down there that was invisible? What else was there!" I asked.

"Is it anything magical?" Pacifica asked. Now we had her interest, although she was disappointed by the lack of magical items.

"This is it... Its all I have to my name, and I'm happy with it..." she said, picking up one book and the pen before Bill snatched it off of her.

"No, you will not work," Bill said, although he kept scanning the book as Lina tried in desperation to take it off him.

While he was distracted by Lina and reading the book, Pacifica took it off him. "Hey! Don't read a girls diary!" Pacifica said, making Lina blush a bright green.

"I-Its not a--" she tried to protest, before thinking about it. "Yes... Yes it is..." she said, taking it from Pacifica.

We all headed back home, only to find our Grunkle Bud sitting at the table with the Gleeful Twins.

"Oh, you're back! Someone wanted to see you!"
