Caesar slowly woke up to the sound of chittering apes. He looked at the apes cage and saw donkeys giving them buckets of water. They pulled back a sheet off a small trailer, showing food which looked likes seeds (I honestly don't know what they are). Donkeys grabbed handfuls and threw them at the apes. Caesar saw Lake walk through the crowd inside the cage. She reached the front. 

"You saved our lives!" She signed happily, as another ape gave her a handful of seeds. 

Caesar strained his neck but continued to turn his head to try and see (Y/N). A couple of apes threw seeds at her while a small bucket of water was placed in her cage. Her wings were tied up and they ached from remaining in the same position and the ropes that created grazes through her feathers and onto her skin. Her bruises were visible and she looked exhausted. She picked up the seeds that she was able to catch and ate them. 

Caesar turned back around and saw Red Donkey holding up a bucket of water. He emptied it on Caesar and Caesar gasps and coughed. He instantly became extremely cold and shivered as the water slowly froze into ice. 

Later that night, Caesar was freezing. He shivered while still hanging from the 'X'. The only other person who was as cold as he was was his sister. Since (Y/N)'s wings were tied up, she couldn't use them to keep her warm. Sure she had her jacket but that still wasn't enough to survive in this harsh weather. Especially with little food and water. While Caesar was still half asleep, Red Donkey cut his ropes and he fell. Colonel McCullough kneeled in front of him. 

"If he's still alive in the morning, he goes to work like everyone else... or you shoot him." Caesar was then moved to a separate cage from the other apes just on the other side of the path, he still faced the apes.

It was late at night and Caesar woke up to something light touching his head. He sat up and saw Nova standing in front of his cage. Nova looked around. 

"Thirsty?" She signed and walked a few steps away from his cage and brought back a bucket of water. She held it towards the cage as Caesar drank. After a few seconds, she turned and faced the other apes as they called her over. She walked over to them and they gave her some seeds and pointed over to Caesar. Nova brought the food back over to the ape king and gave it to him. Both of them looked back to the apes as one stood up. He did the action of "Apes Together Strong!" and soon all the others were doing the same. Nova looked at her hands and copied them. 

Distance chattering and footsteps were heard and they were coming closer. "Hide! Quick!" Caesar whispered to the girl. The girl nodded and hide a few feet behind his cage. Then they heard the recognisable loud hoots from none other than Rocket. He walked into the camp and swung his arms until some soldiers pointed their guns at him then he held them up. (Y/N) heard the hoots from her cage and struggled to watch what was happening. 

Caesar watched Rocket until the Colonel, a few other soldiers and Red Donkey came. The soldiers lured Rocket further into the camp. Red Donkey walked up to Rocket and was about to pull his hands behind his back but Rocket punch Red Donkey in the stomach and they began rolling on the floor, punching each other repeatedly. Caesar turned behind his cage and told the girl to go while they were all distracted. The Colonel cocked his gun and shot a bullet into the ground right next to Rocket. Rocket and Red Donkey stopped fighting and Rocket looked up to the Colonel with freight. McCullough stepped closer to him and kneeled down. 

"Are there others out there?" Rocket continued to stare at the Colonel, not giving any sign where the others were. The Colonel stood up. 

"Sweep the area. Put him in the pen." He ordered. Red Donkey punched Rocket so hard he went into a daze. While Rocket with half-unconscious, Red Donkey and another ape dragged him by his feet into the cage with the other apes. Red Donkey beat Rocket more before he went out and locked the cage. 

Rocket slowly lifted himself up by holding the bars on the pen walls. He looked to Caesar and gave a quiet chuckle. "Feeling better?" He asked. Caesar didn't say or sign anything, he just gave a tiny smile. "Good." Rocket said. "Then we can talk about... Escape." He lifted his hands up and changed them into fists. "Apes Together Strong!"
