Hey guys, sorry I didn't update like I was scheduled to do so. School just started, and I became really busy. Luckily for me, I have time to update. I hope you like this chapter because this is a Chatfic.

In the Magic Castle, Aggie was in her bedroom, pacing around, feeling so bored, and didn't know what to do for the rest of the day. It's almost the holidays, but she wasn't so excited about it. She loved her family, but things got boring nowadays. Gust was too busy to spend time with her, so she's all on her own today.

"Man, nothing to do but to just visit the beach again or stay in the castle," she chattered to herself. She crossed her arms in grump. But then, she had her eyes on her phone that was charging. She remembered that she has Trollex's number now. That means she can text or call him whenever she wants, "Oh, I better text Trollex!" She has to. If she calls, then it might interrupt Trollex's duties, and his parents might confiscate his phone.

She took her charger off from her cellphone, and started texting.

In Techno Reef, Trollex woke up early for his session with his parents as Ocean and Seastar swam out of the castle with Trollex behind them, looking all tired.

"Come on, son. We need to check the coral reef if it is the right place for your wedding," Ocean said while making a tight grip on his trident.

Trollex just nodded tiredly and silently. He looked so miserable. But then, he was startled when he heard his clam phone from his hair. He took it out with his hand, and flipped it open. It was shown that Aggie was texting.

He opened the message, and revealed Aggie texting, "Hi Trollex! How was your morning?"

Trollex then blushed as he realized he had his new friend to text with. He didn't receive any text messages from any of the Techno Trolls he knew because everyone thought he was too busy texting with friends, which made him pretty lonely.

"I'll... I'll be right there!" Trollex called his parents before texting Aggie a message.

"Hello Aggie. I've been fine this morning. My parents took me to coral reef to check if it is a good place for my... ugh, wedding."

Back at Aggie's bedroom, Aggie was still sitting down on her bed, waiting for Trollex's message, if ever he'll reply. But he did. Aggie heard a *ding* on her phone, and read Trollex's message. She smiled understandingly. She then texted him back

"Oh my. Well, can you check that out for me? I wanna see if it's beautiful... not for your wedding, I just wanna see it."

Back to Trollex, when he received Aggie's message, he giggled as he replied to her again.

"Sure!"

"Trollex!" Ocean shouted as Trollex heard his father shouting, "Let's go!"

Trollex nodded as he put his clam phone back in his hair, and followed his parents.

Aggie went out of the bedroom one time just to get some snacks, and read a small book that Bernadette and Agnes recommended so she can be a good queen someday. She hated reading these kinds of books, but she has too, just to entertain herself.

When she entered her bedroom while holding a book and eating an apple, Aggie noticed her phone chiming. Finally, Aggie can drop the book, and lay down on the bed to see Trollex's messages.

Trollex: Yep, it is beautiful! (a picture of a colorful coral reef with fishes swimming around).

Aggie: Awesome! Oh, I always wanted to see that in person!

Trollex: If you can, you can come here!

Aggie: (Rolling On The Floor Laughing emoji) You're funny, but seriously though, I can't. Pictures would be nice. So, when are you coming back here on land?

Trollex: 👎 Not today or tomorrow, I guess. Aside from making plans for my 'happiest day of my life', I have other royal duties to do. Ugh, being heir to the throne is hard!

Aggie: Ugh, tell me about it. Since I'm also heir to the throne, I have to be a proper lady, but that's hard, even for me.

At the coral reefs while his father was talking to one of the guards, Trollex read Aggie's message before typing his message.

"Don't be ridiculous. You're already a proper lady."

When he sent it, he blushed in panic as he realized he was texting a compliment, which made him feel embarrassed, "Oh no no no!" He tried to cancel his sending, but it was already sent.

Aggie received Trollex's message, but it wasn't an embarrassment for her at all. She was only blushing that Trollex complimented her as a proper lady. Did he notice the signs on Aggie when she was with him that day? She hoped not. It would be awkward that she was like a Troll taking interest in a school crush. No, no! It's not a crush. It's just a funny feeling. She has to reply back before Trollex gets suspicious. She has to reply to a friendly comment so he won't suspect that she was flattered.

"Thanks, and I think you'll be a great king."

But when she sent the message, Aggie began to blush, and thought to herself, "Wow, can't believe I say that here."

Trollex read her message, and he smiled appreciatively. He deserved that reply since he complimented her like a gentleTroll.

"Thank you, same thing to you as the queen."

When Aggie received his message, she blushed silently. Her whole face turned red. It even reached her ears. Just then, she heard her mother calling her from outside her door.

"Aggie, dinner!"

"Coming, Mom!" Aggie shouted as she took her phone in her hair, and ran out of her room.

The Royal Galido Family were eating at the dining table. They were eating at a long table with Galileo in front, Bernadette was at his left, Aggie was at his right, and Noel and Agnes were sitting at their mother's side of the table. They appreciated that their stepfather let them eat with him.

While her family was eating, Aggie was texting Trollex at the same time.

Aggie: Are you having dinner too?

Trollex: Yeah, I do. You?

Aggie: Yep. Mom cooks the best chicken and broccoli

Trollex: Chicken and broccoli? For dinner? I know about chicken, but I never taste one, not even broccoli. What's a broccoli?

Before Aggie could send Trollex a message, Galileo noticed his daughter texting at dinner.

"Aggie, please, put your phone down, and eat," he said.

This startled Aggie as she rolled her eyes and put her phone down before eating.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At LED Castle, The Royal Techno family were eating too. The arrangement was similar to Aggie's table with Ocean in the front, Seastar was at his left, Trollex was at his left, and Synth was sitting next to his mother.

Trollex was still waiting for Aggie's message as he didn't even touch his food yet.

Seastar noticed her son holding the phone, and didn't eat at all. She then kindly pleaded, "Trollex, please, no texting on the table."

Trollex sighed as he put his phone down, and started eating one of the same dishes he had for dinner: seaweeds.

When dinner time was over, both Trollex and Aggie went back to their bedrooms, and eyed on their phones to text each other.

Aggie was sending a picture of her dinner to Trollex to explain what broccoli looks like.

Trollex: So, this "Broccoli'' you speak of, is like the trees that grow in the ground, but greener, and a lot smaller?

Aggie: Yep, and like with chicken, you can cook it and prep it in many delectable ways.

Trollex: Ooh, that sounds delicious. We don't have broccoli underwater, but we do like to dry seaweed and turn it into chips. It makes a good snack when you're out on the go.

Aggie: Anyways, now that I'm full of food, we can continue our chat.

Trollex: Sweet! ❤ So, Aggie, I noticed that while we were on land, there were many different kinds of small winged animals that flew in the sky. What were they?

Aggie: Those were birds. We see them a lot up here.

Trollex: Birds? So, the white bird that ate your sandwich during our picnic was also a bird too?

Aggie: Yep, that was a kind of bird called a seagull. I see them all the time while out on the beach. They love to scavenge and pick up any forms of stray food they can find.

Trollex: So, these seagulls like to collect food, like how we like to collect items. That's pretty cool, and funny if you think about it.

Aggie: Yeah, LOL. You know..., I got curious about your hair. It's a lot different than mine.

Trollex: Well, for us, Techno Troll hair is actually composed of many thin, multi-colored optical fibers. Many of them like to keep their hair loose and free, but for some of us, like my brother and me, we like to try our hair up with hand-made scrunchies.

Aggie: Ooh! That's amazing!

Trollex: Yeah, but you know, there's one Techno Troll we have in my tribe whose hair is a little different than ours. Her name is Laguna, and her hair is silky... for a reason, but she's a Techno Troll. I've known her since my parents hired her.

Aggie: Wow, that's intriguing to know. You know, the top-knot scrunchie you have is very colorful.

Trollex: 😊😊😊Thanks, Aggie. My mother gave it to me when I was a young guppy.

Aggie: That's so sweet. Your parents sound like amazing people.

Trollex: Yeah, I love my folks. They can be a little strict sometimes, especially about my royal duties, but they're sweet, kind, and love to help others.

Aggie: Just like my parents. I love them a lot, though my siblings can drive me nuts sometimes.

Trollex: Same with my brother. I love Synth, but he can drive me crazy sometimes. I remember one time, he dragged me on this whirlpool surfing retreat, and we got lost in the Troll Barrier Reef for three days straight!

Aggie: Oh my! Sure sounds like it was a crazy adventure.

Trollex: Crazy doesn't even begin to describe it, but, all in all, I love Synth. He's my twin, my partner in crime, the Techno Troll I can count on it a time of need.

Aggie: Aw, that's adorable. Maybe when you show me around Techno Reef, I might meet him.

Trollex: Oh, I bet you will. Synth does have a way of always being around.

Ever since that night, Trollex and Aggie kept texting each other almost everyday. Sometimes, they were distracted from performing their duties or doing what they like to do. They just spent their time texting without letting their parents or anyone in the castle know about it.

Even if not inside of their castles, they texted outside too.

One time, Synth was about to catch a jellyfish, but there was a whole swarm of them swimming towards him as Synth swam away, yelling Trollex for help, but he was distracted by texting Aggie, and Synth got stung.

While Aggie visited Gust in Lonesome Flats, she was still focusing on texting Trollex. When Gust lassoed an adorabull, it started to go wild as it dragged Gust with him. The Country Troll was yelling Aggie for help, but her giggle blocked his voice when Trollex sent her a funny message.

The two were texting for 3 straight days, and they thought of each other as close friends now. They liked each other's company, and shared their favorite stuff through texting.

Trollex: This is so exciting!

Aggie: I know! ❤❤😰😰 It's also a little nerve-wracking.

Trollex: I feel you, LOL. I mean, we only just became friends, and now, we're texting one another.

Aggie: I know! We became TEXTING BUDDIES! Anyways, I know we got to know each other when we met, but I want to know a little more about you. What's your favorite food?

Trollex: Oh, my favorite food is kelp patties, my father's chef knows this really delicious kelp patty recipe that is to die for!

Aggie: Wow, that sounds yummy! (Fork emoji) (Spoon emoji) (plate emoji) I wish I could try that

Trollex: When I show you around Techno Reef, I'll have the chef make you some for you to try. They might taste strange at first, but once you really get to eat one, they're so good!

Aggie: Ok then, what's your favorite sport?

Trollex: I don't play a lot of sports, but I do love a good round of volleyball (volleyball emoji). I play it with my brother a lot, though I always end up winning.

Aggie: Think you can teach me how to play sometime?

Trollex: Of course! Hey, I hope I can come to your castle one day, if our parents allow us to meet again... with their permission of course.

Aggie: I can bet, seeing how excited you looked when you saw my collection.

Trollex: Wait till you see my collection once I take you to see Techno Reef! I think you're gonna be pleasantly surprised.

Aggie: Hey, I have a question I wanted to ask you: underwater, do you sometimes worry about some of the things you collect floating away?

Trollex: Sometimes, depending on how small or light they are. I remember one time, I had to plow a deflectable ball I collected, but it kept floating away every time I placed them down.

Aggie: Really? LOL, that must've been hilarious to see.

Trollex: Yeah, underwater, it's like gravity is turned upside down, with a few exceptions.

Aggie: It sounds almost similar to space.

Trollex: Space?

Aggie: Oh yeah, on land, or more specifically, way up in the air, there's a whole new world called outer space, where it's nothing but black starry skies, planets, rocks, and many wonders as far as the eye can see.

Trollex: Wow! This space sounds so cool! Wish we can go there someday!

Aggie: Maybe, if we ever become astronauts. 😂

Trollex: LOL 😂

Aggie: This is fun!

Trollex: Yeah, I'm having a blast texting and chatting with you!

Just then, both of them heard their parents calling them to go home as the Prince of Techno and Princess of Magic Musical put their phones back in their head, and went back to their castles.

When Aggie finally finished her homeschooling, which she didn't like that much, she jumped onto her bed, and pulled her phone out of her hair.

"Hey Trollex, you available to chat?"

When Trollex exhaustingly made it to his bedroom, he heard his phone chiming. He took the phone from his hair, and found Aggie's message. Now that he was finally alone, he has time to chat with his new friend.

Trollex: Let me see my schedule 📅 all clear on my end, so yes!

Aggie: Yay!

Trollex: So, what's up? Anything new?

Aggie: I think I saw a glowstick near the beach, Is this yours (a picture of a green glowstick)

Trollex: Huh, I must've dropped it the last time I visited there. No wonder I haven't seen it in two days. Don't worry, I'll pick it up the next time I come up there to visit. Say, Aggie, my brother taught me a new joke. Wanna hear it?

Aggie: Sure! I love a good laugh.

Trollex: Ok, so what's a fish's favorite part of the newspaper?

Aggie: IDK. What?

Trollex: "Current" events!

Aggie: 😂😂😂HAHAHAHA! LOL, Trollex, that was a good joke!

Trollex: Well, I "sea" I made you laugh!

Aggie: 😂😂😂Your pun game is on point too! I "Shell" try to match up with your prowess, but I'm un"shore" if I can match your pun game.

Trollex: 😂😂😂 HAHAHAHAHA! LOL, Aggie! That was really good! You're just as funny as my brother.

Aggie: 😊Thanks, Trollex, but if anyone's hilarious, it's you.

Trollex: Yeah, but Synth's the real jokester in the family. Gets it from our dad.

Aggie: I would like to meet him someday. Hey, Trollex, if you come visit me on land again tomorrow, there's this treat I want to show you called ice cream.

Trollex: Ice cream? What's that?

Aggie: Well, you know ice? Well, when ice is crushed and mixed with different ingredients, it makes this creamy, soft, delicious treat that's really good called ice cream! It comes in a lot of different flavors, and the best part? You can add toppings to it!

Trollex: So, with this ice cream, I can add any toppings I want to it?

Aggie: Any at all, and you can also pick whatever flavor you want to. The only limit is your imagination.

Trollex: Yum! Now, that sounds like a sweet treat! I definitely am trying that during my next visit.

These two royal Trolls enjoyed their messages with good jokes, sharing interests, and talking about their families. Both of them though ever messages they sent to each other were friendly compliments, but deep-down, the compliments they sent to each other more than just friendly compliments...

For Trollex, he has other thoughts about his new friendship with Aggie. He felt that... maybe it was something else than friendship...

For Aggie, observing how she and Trollex were chatting for days, she began to wonder if her new texting buddy was more than a buddy. They became so close through texting, and Aggie felt so... so... happy, more than usual. She just hoped there won't be something awkward between them if they meet in person again...
