One morning in Symphonyville, after a good fancy breakfast, Trollzart flew to the police station to check any updates of Symphonyville through every security camera of the kingdom.

"Good morning. Any intruders or break-ins," He asked the police when he came in.

"Not as I thought, but there were two Trolls who broke into the stadium last night, and went skating," The police answered.

"Really? Let me see the footage."

The police obeyed Trollzart's orders as he played the video footage of the skating rink of the stadium. The video played of Trollex and Aggie skating together in the rink for a couple of minutes, and almost kissed, but got interrupted, and ran off, laughing.

This came to a shock to the leader of the Classical Trolls. He knew Aggie since she was a little kid, and he just met Trollex when he came to Symphonyville for the first time. They both reassured that they are just friends, but because of the evidence of the security video footage, in Trollzart's eyes, they were more than that. He even began to think if the other Trolls knew about it, but not everyone. He has to make sure he will tell the right Trolls who already know Trollex and Aggie.

Using the police's rotary dial phone since he left his phone, Trollzart called the Trolls one-by-one.

In Pop Village, Poppy was about to cut a ribbon to open a community garden, but she heard her phone chiming in her hair. She pulled it out and answered it. She listened to whoever called her, and her eyes widened. She dropped the scissor, and rushed off.

In Volcano Rock City, Barb was playing her guitar on a bean bag, until she noticed her phone ringing. She answered it, and her eyes widened before dropping her guitar, and ran out.

In Lonesome Flat, Gust was taking a sTroll with Holly, but he felt a vibration from his phone in his pocket. He pulled it out, and answered it. He gasped before giving it to Holly, who was also listening. After the call, the two nodded, and they galloped out.

In Vibe City, Prince D was listening to Funk music from his headphones, until he heard a ring from his phone. Since his phone was connected to his wireless headphones, he answered to listen without putting the phone on his ear. When he got the call, he used his hoverboard to float to the castle garage to get his mini ship.

At the hinterlands, Chaz and Sophie were playing their saxophone and clarinet respectively, until Chaz got a call from his phone. Though it was not so surprising to him, he told his daughter to come with him.

Trollzart was waiting at the downhill entrance of Symphonyville. He spotted 5 figures coming upwards towards his kingdom.

Poppy rode the hot air balloon, Barb used her tour bus, Gust and Holly galloped all this way from Lonesome Flats, Chaz and Sophie floated all the way up, and Prince D rode on his mini spaceship. When they made it up to Symphonyville, they all got their feet on the ground.

"Alright, you call, we came," Barb said.

"So what's the problem, partnuurr?" Gust asked.

"Yeah, what's the deal?" Chaz added.

"Yes, I have a question to all of you," Trollzart started pacing back and forth, "Have you met the Techno Prince, Prince Trollex?"

"Yeah, Aggie has been introducing him to us," Sophie answered

"He's ayy darn good Troll," Holly stated.

"Curious about everything," Prince D chuckled.

"What do you think of her closeness with Princess Aggie?" the Classical leader asked.

"They said they are friends," Poppy replied.

"Are they though?" Barb protested, "I'm not saying they are not friends... they are probably more than that."

"That's what ay done thought too," Gust admitted.

"What do you mean? Are you saying... they're in love?" Sophie guessed in shock.

"They can't be. Prince Trollex is engaged, and those two belong from different kingdoms," Prince D reminded.

"Wait, why am I supposed to be involved in this?" The Smooth Jazz Troll asked.

"Because, 1. You're Aggie's ex, and 2. I want to make sure this isn't any of your Smooth Jazz spell," Trollzart explained.

"Magic Musical Trolls like Aggie are immune to any brainwashed trance. She won't be under my music, and she stopped me before I could attempt it on Prince Trollex," Chaz admitted while crossing his arms.

"So, how are we gonna prove that there?" asked Holly.

"Listen, young ones, I don't like to force them to admit. I can see they're in love, and... I think that's okay," Trollzart admitted as he looked at the footage on his phone that he retrieved from his phone, and smiled. He got a copy of the video from the police, and decided to keep it. Trollzart knew Trollex and Aggie have a special connection since he first met the young prince with Aggie guiding him in Symphonyville. The conductor then turned back to the Trolls, "What Aggie and Trollex were doing tonight?"

Gust thought of something with his fingers under his chin, "Hmm."

In the Magic Castle, Aggie was arranging her collection in her hideout so she wouldn't get bored. She understood Trollex might be busy, but she really missed him. Almost kissing him got her thinking about her future, but she didn't want to talk about that. That was why she wanted to do something else to get her mind off things like that. She kept watering the Techno plant Trollex gave her. She's been observing one that she placed on a pot of soil, and she discovered how it continued to grow bigger, and almost broke the pot. She decided to have a lot of water on the pot so the plant won't continue to grow bigger.

Just then, the princess heard her phone ringing from her hair. She took out her phone, and answered, "Gust?"

"Hey, Aggie, what are ya a-doin' tonight?" Gust asked.

"Not much, why?"

"You know, Poppy said there's a place where you haven't shown Trollex yet."

"What do you mean? I showed him everything in Pop Village!"

"Are y'all sure about that there, partner?" Gust smirked, hoping the plan might work, "Why don't ya call that there prince, ayn' tell him ta come over?"

"I don't know, Gust. His parents might find out," The Magic Musical Princess said.

"Y'all done might make ayy darn good point, but y'all nevuurr know until y'all try."

"Well... alright. I'll try."

Aggie sighed as she hung up on Gust to call Trollex. She could hear it dialing, but it didn't take long when she heard the phone was answering. She hoped she won't go weird on the Techno Prince, "Trollex?"

"Hey Aggie, what's up?" Trollex whispered as he checked his slightly-opened door if anyone was listening to him while on the call with Aggie.

"I, uh, are you busy tonight?" The princess asked.

"Actually, no. Today is my day off. Why?" The prince inquired.

"Well, Gust told me that Princess Poppy said there is a place I haven't shown you yet."

"What do you mean? You already showed me everything."

"That's what I think, but, unfortunately, someone said it's special. I hope you like to come."

Trollex suddenly smiled and blushed. Aggie was inviting him somewhere special. She quickly cleared his throat, and spoke normally, "Sure..., Aggie, I would love to. Just need someone to cover for me tonight."

"Great, Trollex, I'll see you at the beach then," Aggie said before hanging up. She blushed when Trollex agreed to visit her again. But she shook her head, snapping her out that she wouldn't think of it as a date. Just a friendly tour. Nothing else.

Back in LED Castle, Trollex was swimming around his room, thinking of a plan to get out of Techno Reef again without his parents' notice this time. He got away when he thought he'll let his parents find out, but Synth covered for him. He wasn't sure if there would be another cover-up, "Oh. How can I see Aggie now without my parents noticing?"

Unbeknownst to him, Synth was just standing at his open door as he watched his brother hyperventilating, "Maybe you should have me as your doppleganger!"

Trollex was startled by his brother's voice as he turned to him, "Synth?"

Synth swam towards Trollex, and confessed, "Look, bro, I like Laser light... I lot. She's fun, and I really missed her. You should go with her. Have fun on land for a bit. You do need a friend after all."

"But... you'll cover for me?"

"That's what brothers do."

The Techno heir smiled as he was happy he had a brother who looked out for him. He threw his arms around him, and hugged Synth tightly, "Thanks, Synth, you're the best brother ever."

Synth broke the hug, and patted Trollex's shoulder, "Anything for my soon-to-be-king-bro," When he pointed his thumb at the door, Trollex nodded as he swam out. Synth then opened Trollex's closet, and found some neon paint that the brothers played with when they had time for each other. He took out a brush, and a blue-neon paint, "This is gonna make myself a fool."

When night came, Aggie was pacing around the beach to wait for Trollex. She began to panic as she hoped her family and the castle staff wouldn't see her. She then saw Trollex hopped out of the water, and walked towards the shore.

"Trollex, you're here!" Aggie rushed towards Trollex, and threw her arms around her. Trollex was surprised by a sudden happy hug from Aggie as he hugged her back. But then, when she realized what she was doing without telling the prince, Aggie quickly released herself, "Sorry. So how did you get out so easily?"

"Synth was covering for me. I hope he didn't mess up. Oh, and he missed you," Trollex explained.

"Aaww," Aggie smiled, admitting she did miss Synth too.

"Anyway, where is the place Poppy wanted to show me?" The Prince of Techno was eager to know.

"We'll just take the bus to Pop Village, but I don't know what place she was talking about. Come on," The princess said as the two rushed out of the beach before anyone in the Magic Castle saw them.

When the bus took Trollex and Aggie to Pop Village, the two royals hopped out, and it zoomed away. The village was so dark, and most of the lights of the Pop Trolls' pods went out.

"Hmm, everything is dark and quiet here in Pop Village at night," Trollex observed the surroundings.

"Glad that you glow," Aggie teased when she noticed Trollex's body glowed.

The prince agreed with her since Techno Trolls' bodies were covered in bright, bioluminescent neon colors, and their hair resembled optical fiber threads, making them glow in the dark. Trollex then noticed something flashy ahead, "Oh look! Are those... signs?"

There were arrows with lights pointing the way for them. Though the prince and princess were curious, they wanted to follow where the arrows were pointing. When they followed them, they arrived towards a wide but small body of water.

"What's this?" Trollex asked.

"I think it's the lagoon," Aggie guessed since it's quite dark, and she couldn't recognize the place at night, "Have I already shown you this place before?"

"I think so, but there might be a reason why Princess Poppy said there was a place you haven't shown me yet," Trollex then noticed something at the docks, "Look, what's that?" He rushed towards it to take a closer look.

Aggie followed him, and explained, "That's a boat, Trollex. It is what Land Trolls use if they want to go in the middle of a big water. If they don't swim, they'll use a boat."

"Oh, cool! I usually see sunken ships, but I've never seen a floating boat before!" The Techno Prince excitedly hopped into the boat, but noticed it didn't move, "Uh, how does this thing move?"

"You have to use the oars here to paddle," Aggie chuckled while pointing at the oars on each side of the boat, and hopped into the boat. She was waiting if Trollex could row a boat, but she saw how the prince was curious, and didn't do anything with the oars, "You don't know how to use a boat?" He shook his head sadly, "Don't worry, I'll row."

Aggie grabbed two oars, and started to row them away from the docks. Trollex was a little startled at first when the boat moved, but as it continued to move along, it was a smooth and gentle flow. It was so quiet at the lagoon, with the crickets chirping and the frogs croaking. He had never heard these sounds at night before. Trollex looked down while the boat was moving. He dipped his hand on the water, and he felt a cool sensation on his fingertips.

"Wow! So this is what it feels to ride on a boat!" The prince giggled while looking around before looking back at Aggie, "So amazing!"

Aggie nodded as she began to blush when she only saw Trollex in the night. She saw nothing but him because he was glowing. She looked down, trying to hide her blushing face, "He's so cute when he's glowing. Oh, snap out of it!"

Hiding behind the bushes, Poppy, Barb, Prince D, Gust, Holly, Trollzart, Chaz, and Sophie were watching Trollex and Aggie at the lagoon while riding on the boat. It was actually part of their plan to lure the two royals into their "trap" to see if there was any romance between the two.

"It's working!" Poppy squealed.

"But I don't think they are in a romantic mood," Prince D said.

"Maybe we done thought it were awful wrong. Maybe they are just friends," Holly whispered.

"Hey! Chaz is in the house!" Chaz thought his music was gonna give answers as he played his saxophone.

But Sophie covered the tube for her father to stop playing, "No, Dad, we're not gonna use our music to make them fall in love! Not gonna work on Aggie either."

"Hmm," Trollzart thought of something, and he snapped his finger before pulling out his baton from his hair, and flew up on the tree,

"Trollzart, where are you going?" Barb asked, but he didn't hear her.

Trollzart was on top of the tree where an orchestra of Classical Trolls were hiding with their instruments. He was recruiting them in case of a plan B, "First, we got to create the mood," he tapped his baton, and instructed a group of Classical Trolls with every Instrument family of the orchestra, "Percussion. . . Strings. . . Winds. . . Words. . . " Now, it was his turn to sing the song.

Trollzart: There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her
And you don't know why

Trollex was bothered by a sudden music playing out of nowhere, "Uh, did you hear that?"

Even Aggie was thinking the same with one of her eyebrows arched, "I think so... or maybe that was just in our heads."

Trollzart: Yes, you want her
Look at her, you know you do
Possible she wants you too
There is one way to ask her

Though they would've thought the music was just imaginary to them, both Trollex and Aggie has a chance to look at each other.

Trollzart: It don't take a word
Not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl

The Magic Musical Princess leaned in closer to the Techno Prince's face. Trollex watched as he almost let Aggie kiss him, but he quickly looked away, remembering that he shouldn't show any romantic interest with her. Aggie felt ashamed of her action of nearly kissing Trollex as he looked down sadly in shame.

Trollzart and the Classical Trolls: Sha la la la la la

"You know, it's kinda weird that we're here, on the lagoon, riding a boat together..." Trollex chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, this isn't some kind of... d-date, right?" Aggie asked.

Both Trollex and Aggie laughed hysterically until they looked down with the prince looking at his glowing reflection at the water, and the princess twirling a few strands of her hair.

The boat then led towards a Willow tree as Poppy and Sophie opened the curtain of thin willow branches and colorful leaves for the boat to enter.

Trollzart: Now's your moment
Floating in a blue lagoon
Boy you better do it soon

And she won't say a word
Until you kiss the girl

Then, some of the Classical Troll, Poppy, Barb, Prince D, Gust, Holly, and Sophie joined in the song for more support. Holly and Prince D used their hair to make the boat stop at the center, and spin very slowly.

As the music was getting louder, Trollex couldn't resist looking at Aggie; he turned his head to see her looking down. Seeing her feeling down, Trollex moved his right hand to reach hers. When he touched her hand, Aggie was surprised by the sudden touch as she looked up to Trollex, who was smiling pitifully at her. Aggie smiled back at him, knowing Trollex was trying to make her feel better.

Glowflies then flew around Aggie and Trollex, giving them a feeling of wonder and happiness, but at the same time, it also made them both feel something new and very special: romance. Seeing how the Glowflies glowed, and how the light made each other's eyes sparkle, the atmosphere was growing more romantic by the minute, and Aggie and Trollex couldn't help but lean towards this new feeling together, not wanting it to end

But, while they were singing, Chaz was playing his saxophone just to be part of the music, but Poppy, Barb, Holly, and Sophie used their hair to prevent him from hypnotizing anyone and ruining everything.

Trollex and Aggie kept staring at each other in the entire chorus with the boat still spinning, but they never noticed with their eyes busy staring at the other. Trollex himself wasn't sure if the music he heard was just imaginary or real, but the more he kept staring at the most beautiful Troll he ever saw, the more he wanted to kiss her... like the music told him to.

Aggie couldn't get the smile off her face when she kept looking into Trollex's eyes. She didn't want to wonder where the music came from, she just loved staring at the glowing Techno Prince. She couldn't get her eyes off him and his adorable smile. Even though she didn't have her colors yet, she's still beautiful in Trollex's eyes.

While their hands were still holding together, Trollex and Aggie started to move very slowly closely to one another as their eyes blinked while staring at each other.

Now their faces were getting closer, almost closing the gap between them as their eyes stayed still staring at each other.

They leaned in a little more with Aggie's eyes slowly closed. Trollzart squeezed Chaz's neck while shaking him in excitement, "Go on!"

Their lips were coming into a close as Trollex also closed his eyes. When their lips almost touched, the boat tipped over, causing Trollex and Aggie to fall into the water.

Trollzart facepalmed disappointedly as the other Trolls groaned frustratingly.

With the Techno Prince and the Magic Musical Princess popped their heads out of the water, Trollex wrapped his arms around Aggie to keep her floating.

"Whoa, hang on, I've gotcha," he said as he swam her out of the , back to shore.

When Aggie stood up to squeeze her dress to drain the water, she was so quiet. She didn't say a word after that incident.

"Um, Aggie, a-are you okay?" Trollex asked, wondering what was Aggie feeling right now.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just..." Aggie admitted she wasn't okay, but she didn't want Trollex to be worried for her. She sighed sadly, "I wanna go home," she began to walk away from the lagoon.

"Oh, um, okay, I-I'll join you," Trollex insisted, following Aggie.

While they watched Trollex and Aggie leaving, Poppy, Barb, Prince D, Gust, Holly, Chaz, Sophie, and Trollzart wondered what went wrong. Their song was perfect, every Troll were above the surface of the lagoon singing, everything seemed fine, and the two were almost close to kissing. Though they only wanted to know if Trollex and Aggie have romantic feelings towards each other there, and they got their answer, but their plan helped them confess their feelings towards each other. What can cause their experiment to ruin?

Suddenly, a cloud with legs wearing socks named Cloud Guy emerged from the water with his swimming gear as he took his swimming goggles and snorkel off.

"Wow, that was a good swim!" He laughed until he noticed 8 Trolls glaring at him, "What?"

They growled angrily at Cloud Guy with Trollzart facepalmed and Barb crossed her arms.

When they made it back to Harmonious Land, Aggie led Trollex back to the beach. There was an awkward silence between them during the trip back until they made it to the beach.

Once they were at the shore, Aggie had her arms crossed and waited for Trollex to dove back into the water. She was ashamed what she almost did back at the lagoon. She almost kissed him... again. And this time, she didn't snap out of it. No one was interrupting them. The music was so strong and loud, she couldn't resist puckering her lips at Trollex, waiting for him to kiss her. She didn't bother to look at Trollex again this time or she'll tempt herself to kiss him again.

Trollex couldn't forget what happened between them back at the lagoon, but he figured what was happening was the reason why Aggie was giving him the silent treatment, "Aggie?"

"Sorry, Trollex, I..." Aggie finally spoke, but she didn't look back at him, "I lost myself that time, and I didn't know what I was doing," She took a deep breath, and sighed, "Maybe I need more time for myself... I mean, I know we didn't see each other for more than a week, but... whenever I'm with you..." When Aggie looked back at Trollex again, who was waiting for an answer, she realized she almost confessed her romantic feelings for him as she shook her head, reminding her to stop talking, "This is ridiculous! I should just... be myself for a while. You should, too," she turned away, and crossed her arms.

Trollex knew what Aggie meant, but not exactly what he thought. He thought Aggie was angry for almost kissing her, and they almost broke their promise for being just friends because being in love with each other was just wrong. Trollex was betrothed, and Aggie was the heir to her kingdom. These kinds of rules forbade Trollex to be in love with Aggie, and maybe she didn't feel the same with him as he thought of it. Trollex felt so ashamed that he almost kissed Aggie. For a Magic Musical Princess with no chosen music or true colors, she was too irresistible to be in love with the Techno Prince. He did want to show Aggie how much he was in love with her, but it was forbidden by the law of their kingdoms and their friendship.

"Um, okay. Yeah... that's a good idea. I'll see you... Princess Aggie," That was the last thing Trollex told Aggie before diving into the water.

When Trollex swam away, Aggie was now all alone. She let her tears that she tried to choke in flow out of her eyes and roll down her cheeks. She pushed away the Troll she's in love with, but it's the only way to save their friendship. She didn't want Trollex to reject her if she confessed her real feelings. She still didn't know he felt the same, but no one knew anything if none of them confessed. Aggie proceeded to walk back to the castle.

Back in LED Castle with Synth disguised as Trollex pacing in front of the main door, he was waiting for his brother to come back to snuck him back into the castle without anyone noticing him. Synth, as Trollex, talked to guards of the main door to take their break, and he witnessed his parents heading to their room to rest.

When he heard a soft knock from the door, Synth quickly opened the door, and Trollex swam inside.

"So, how was your time with Aggie?" Synth asked as he closed the door behind him. But Trollex didn't answer, "Bro?" Synth noticed the silent treatment Trollex gave as he shook the neon paint off of him, revealing back his real colors. Synth then was about to reach his hand to his brother's shoulder, "Trollex?"

"I... I don't want to talk about it," Trollex spoke as he quickly swam ahead.

When Trollex made it to his bedroom, he shut the door behind him, and threw himself on his clam bed. He could finally let his tears out. He can finally cry. Trollex was saddened about what happened at the lagoon. He was close to kissing Aggie, and he wanted to kiss her, but he knew Aggie would react that way. It felt like rejection to him. Though the kiss never happened, it was close to ruining their friendship.

It is clear to him. He was so in love with Aggie, and he wanted to be with her, but he feared she didn't want to be with him because of his betrothal and her duty as future queen of her kingdom. Things went worse between them now.

Back in Magic castle, in Aggie's bedroom, Aggie was laying down there, crying and soaking her pillow with tears. She loved Trollex so much, she was a coward to ever tell him how she felt. Instead, she pushed him away. But it didn't matter anyway. It was already too late for her to confess. Because of their royal duties, they have to be friends rather than being more than that.

"I'm sorry, Trollex. I didn't know what I was saying," Aggie sobbed, feeling guilty of what she told Trollex before he left, "Why can't I be honest and say that I'm in love with you?" She continued to sob until she got a chance to fall asleep.

Yes! I finished it!

This chapter got inspired from The Little Mermaid: Kiss The Girl scene again. It was almost the same as from TrollsTopia season 1, but I made it a little more different this time. This time, I used the original song from The Little Mermaid instead of using Ashley Tisdale's version. I even used my own idea of Cloud Guy popping out of the water, just to accidentally ruining the moment.
