CORE
Dr. Buck is in the middle of a rather heated argument with some people. Not that she herself is in it, nor did she speak, but the thing is, it is involving Director Jones, Dr. Ahmad, and Jared, who is still persistent in what he is still seeing at Gradient. Agent Lawrence was also present.
This has been going on for a couple of days, and Jared still refuses to back down from his stance on what he thinks that Gradient had done to the doctors, and continues to believe that Gradient had killed them, which is when he had escaped his containment call. And needless to say, it is getting very annoying, not just to Dr. Buck, but to the people that is arguing with Jared.
"Why is it that you are defending an anomaly of all things?! After what he did?!"
Agent Lawrence than spoke out.
"You mean help stop a containment breach even though he himself is out of it. He doesn't seem like he is aggressive. Besides, as far as I can tell, he never skilled anybody, and the only time he had ever done harm, was when one of the doctors got 7131-3 nearly killed."
Jared spoke out.
"How can you prove that?! There aren't any cameras down there to see that he didn't kill them! As far as I can tell, that demeanor of his is merely an act! He is too dangerous to be alive!"
Dr. Ahmad than spoke out.
"And what benefit will termination do?!"
Jared than spoke out.
"Getting rid of an incredible dangerous anomaly that is worse than SCP-682, that is what!!!"
But Dr. Ahmad than spoke out.
"Jared, I shouldn't remind you of the fact that one of our doctors, Langford, had once tried to decommission SCP-1337, neutralizing her through burning down the house to make her leave, except that all it did was make it worse! We try and terminate SCP-7131-1, we will end up with an incredibly aggressive, hostile SCP that is capable of destroying the foundation site!! What you are merely suggesting will make the situation more worse than ever before, and even worse is the fact that SCP-7131-1 is similar to SCP-343, in which he is both immensely powerful and uncontainable in nature! Anything that we might do to SCP-7131-1 will likely not work."
Director Jones spoke in a frustrated tone of his own, though his voice remain calm, as he than spoke out.
"And most importantly of all, we are already aware of the fact that he is able to act, but we have no way to knowing if he is manipulative. If he were to have manipulated the foundation, we would have seen some bad signs, and not to mention some very unusual stuff that he would have done. But do far, he has not tried to escape the foundation, even if he tried. I believe that it is because of an important task that he has, and simply wants us out of it."
Jared than spoke out.
"And a so-called 'task', that might involve getting all of us killed, or the Foundation destroyed!! It would be simply better to terminate him while you all still have the-"

"That's...enough Jared."
Dr. Buck said, as Jared turned to Dr. Buck, and he flinched at the sight.
Dr. Buck's glare is now much more colder, and much more angrier, and not to mention the frown that she has. It is more unpleasant than ever, and Dr. Buck even looks a little bit more frighting, due to the fact that a slight shadow is cast over her eyes. When Dr. Buck began to speak out, she now has a much more calmer voice, yet her voice spewed with so much more venom that it made even Jared feel a chill crawl down his spine.
"I shouldn't remind you of the fact, that SCP-7131-1 had been instrumental in ending that containment breach days ago. He had trapped SCP-096, took down SCP-106, and baited SCP-682 into attacking SCP-076-2 long enough for the MTF to contain that damned lizard when they are both finished. I had checked the bodies of what has happened to the scientists at the lower floor, and I saw that SCP-7131-1 had nothing to do with it. The wounds have been a lot more bigger than what I had seen it do, and if SCP-7131-1 was present with those scientist, he would have actually defended them instead of kill them, and we all know for the fact that he has never killed an MTF nor a Foundation member before. Besides, what proof do you have, with SCP-7131-1 having done anything to those that had been killed in the Containment Breach?"
Jared couldn't speak, as he felt himself frozen still, before he snarled with agitation, and he walked away. Dr. Buck glared at Jared, as she than spoke our.
"He is definitely not going to stop at trying to get SCP-7131-1 terminated. I think it is best if we get someone to watch over Jared, in case he ever does something insane."
Dr. Lawrence nodded, as he spoke out.
"Well, I can go if you want to, watch over him. Besides, I don't have a good opinion on that guy anyway."
Dr. Buck nodded her head, as she than spoke out.
"Well, that is good. Lawrence, go and follow him and make sure-"
"No, I have a better idea."
Director Jones spoke out, as he than stood up.
"I'll get Agent Emily to make sure that Jared does not get out of line. She is much more stronger and ruthless, and she will put Jared in his place. I have something to discuss to the 05s about. All of you are dismissed."
Dr. Buck look like she wanted to argue, but she stopped, before nodding her head, and walking away. And as she walked away, Dr. Ahmad than spoke out to Dr. Buck.
"Wow. I never thought that you would do that, defending an SCP of all the things you'd do, Dr. Buck, not to mention acting the way you had done."
Dr. Buck than spoke out to Dr. Ahmad.
"I never thought that I would see myself do that as well. And...even I have no idea why I am doing that. That SCP, it is rather...how would I put it, unique?"
Dr. Ahmad than spoke out.
"Maybe special would suffice, since it is completely unlike any of the other anomalies that we have seen in life. Still, it is very concerning about Jared, as there is almost no MTF that had demanded an SCP to be terminated. The only MTF that has ever requested with an SCPs termination is the one that had her loved ones victimized by SCP-953."
Dr. Buck than spoke out.
"You mean Agent Ramsey? Well, that is the only reason that is understandable. But with what Agent Jared had with SCP-7131-1, I have no idea, and I have no doubt that Jared is planning something. Although what it is, it is definitely not good."
Dr. Ahmad nodded, as Gustav than came in.
"Dr. Buck, Dr. Ahmad. I think you might want to hear this."
Dr. Buck than looks at Gustav, and spoke out.
"If this is involves on of those childish questions about the anomalies, than I have no time to-"
But Gustav than spoke out to Dr. Buck.
"No, it is not that. It's just that, I had heard SCP-7131-1 said something that I think you might see as important."
Dr. Buck raised her eyebrow, as she spoke out.
"Really? what is it"
Gustav than spoke out.
"He said 'I need to take note on the Dream Man's warning.'
The moment he said that, Dr. Ahmad than spoke out.
"What, you mean SCP-990 had contacted SCP-7131-1?"
Gustav nodded, as he than spoke out.
"Yeah, but not just him. SCP-7131-4 also made contact with SCP-990 also, and both at the same night of when they are both asleep."
This made Dr. Ahmad shocked, as he spoke out.
"What, but...but SCP-990 has never done that to another SCP before, not to mention being able to speak to 2 people at the same time."
Dr. Buck than spoke out.
"If SCP-990 had contact both SCP-7131-1 and SCP-7131-4, than it must be very important. Dr. Ahmad, I think you should interview SCP-7131-4, I'll interview -1."
Dr. Ahmad nodded his head, as he spoke out.
"I'll come along. But I do wonder...why did SCP-990 contact those 2, of all the things he's done?"
In the containment site...
Gradient is looking up at the ceiling that is above his head. His arms are on the pillow, his legs crossed, as he stares up, feeling a little bit unhappy of what had happened. He had been warned by an SCP, one that appears in Dreams, and one of them, is of old faces appearing in this universe. And he has a good idea on who these old faces might be when he knows that they've arrived.
Of course, he is also very worried of those old faces that the Dream Man refers to, especially with one of them is who is connected with, and it is not a good thing. Of course, there did use to be a fear of his own when involving his mentor, Error404, or...more specifically, his alternate persona, Just404, and his B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y form.
He had felt this power for the first time, and it is absolutely crushing, more powerful than when he and Error fused to make B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y 666, as Just404's power is outright limitless, due to his connection to the MainFrame, and the fact that he is a manifestation of an entity named Malware. And now...Gradient is in a similar position, except that the manifestation is of a demon king named Gabriel, who, despite the name of his species, is actually a nice person, along with the rest of his kind, and the fact that he had gained a transformation similar to the B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y form that Error404 is capable of, expect that he is far more in control of it, not to mention being weaker than Error404's B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y form. Of course, he has never seen the entity use the transformation that Gradient has, and wonders how powerful it is, and he cannot imagine the power that Hades will have when he used that form. But as Gradient lied on top of his bed, thinking of something, a voice spoke out to him, one he has not heard in a very long time.
"Hello Gradient."
Gradient blinked his eye sockets, as he than began to sit up from his bed, and saw someone that he is not expecting to see before his very eyes.
"CORE..."
Gradient said, as he than sat very straight onto the bed, as CORE smiled at Gradient with her empty void eyes, as they than spoke out to him.
"So this is where you have been this whole time. And out of all the places to be in, it had to be this Multiverse. How nightmarish it is. Why are you staying put, Gradient? You know that you cannot let anyone know of what you want, right?"
Gradient shook his head, as he than spoke out.
"Well, they are going to find out, whether I tell them or not, and besides, they are well aware of the Multiverse itself. And I have a feeling that they have deduced that I am from another one myself. Besides, Ink has no idea of this place...at least...not yet. And hopefully, it can give me enough time for me to find something that will allow me to get rid of the soul that Ink has inside of him, the soul that has been corrupting his very mind since the beginning, CORE."
CORE continues to sit down on the bed, as they looked at Gradient, gawking their heads to the side, as they than spoke out to the Moderator of the Multiverse.
"Well, you seem to have big difficulty with what you are going through, especially since you are still here instead of coming back, even though you could have easily chose to come back."
Gradient nodded, as he sighed deeply, and he than spoke out to CORE.
"Tell me about it. I am having immensely trouble trying to find something in the TransVoid, and so far, there is no luck for me. I have not found any answers, and only found dead ends. It is making me insane. I have no idea how long that I can take before I finally crack underneath the pressure that I am having right now."
CORE than looks down for a little bit, as they than stood up from the ground, and spoke out to Gradient.
"How are you and your brothers doing, the ones that are with you?"
Gradient looks down at CORE, as he sat on his knees, before he than spoke out.
"We're doing good and none of us are dead. Although there was an incident in where one of the Foundation doctors nearly got BlueScreen killed in an experiment of sorts with another one of those so-called SCPs. But thankfully, I made him pay, and he is permanently decommissioned. He won't be anymore trouble anytime soon."
CORE now looked very concerned, as they than spoke out.
"Does BlueScreen still remember it, what happened to him?"
But Gradient shook his head, no, as he than spoke out.
"No, he doesn't. I manage to erase his memories of what happened, and made sure that he never ever tries to remember it. I am just lucky that I was able to remove them in the nick of time."
CORE nodded their head, as they than spoke out.
"Well, that's good. I guess..."
Gradient and CORE stared at each other, before CORE looks down, and they than spoke out.
"That reminds me, I heard that you have a new half-brother, one from Righteous!Error and Dead!Nightmare, a 'Dead Radier,' from what I have heard. Have you ever spoke to him before?"
Gradient shook his head, as he than spoke out to CORE.
"No, I haven't gotten the chance to speak to him as of yet. But Father Error did show me what he looks like, and needless to say, he is actually looking way more cooler than the original version of Radier."
CORE gawked their head to the side, as they than spoke out.
"Really, can you show me?"
Gradient nodded his head, as he than snapped his fingers, and showed CORE frisk what Dead Radier looks like, and sure enough, as Gradient said, he looks way more cooler than the original Radier, as they than spoke out to Gradient yet again.
"Wow, you are right, he does look cool. And actually..."
CORE Frisk than takes out a phone from her empty Void Eyes, which made Gradient a little bit uneasy, and they than took a picture of Dead Radier, before putting the phone back into their eyes. Needless to say, Gradient was not very comfortable, as he than shook his head and spoke out.
"Can you please not do that? It makes me feel very uneasy of what you are doing, especially with how you suddenly put this stuff inside of yourself out of nowhere."
CORE frisk smiled a little mischievously, as they than spoke out.
"Sorry about that, Gradient, I am just to excited to meet this Dead Radier, and that is if he is friendly."
Gradient nodded, as he than spoke out.
"He is friendly, I won't deny it. And while similar to the original Radier in personality, he is far more well behaved, and is much more powerful."
CORE nodded their head, as they than spoke out.
"I bet. And...are you excited to see your brother?"
Gradient looked down a little bit, before he spoke out.
"In all honesty...not like this, especially with what we are going through. And now he is forced to live inside of a war zone, which is the last thing that I need. Having to live inside of a war, even though the little guy does not deserve something such as this. He deserves to live a life better than that, especially since he will likely be forced to fight against his own father, which is likely to happen, since Dead Palette had to be forced to fight against Dead!Dream. That reminds me, how is the original Dream?"
CORE spoke out.
"He is still doing good...and...I'll be honest with you, Gradient. Dream, he told me what happened, especially with in regard to SCP-990. He told me that the Dream Man had wanted you and Palette of what is about to happen, and what it is, it will be not good at all. Because of this, Gradient, I need to know, if you had deduced what the warning of the Dream Man is all about."
Gradient looked down, and he closed his eyes a little bit, before he than spoke out.
"I...I think that I might have an idea, but in all honesty...I am simply hoping that I am wrong about that. But even I know not to take this warning as a grain of salt. CORE, if it is who I think it is...I...you know how much I hate having to do this. Especially with...with..."
Gradient was about to continue speaking out, but he stopped, as he lowered his head, his eyes are covered in shadows, unseen by anyone. But CORE spoke out to Gradient, calmly.
"I know, Gradient. You don't need to say it to me. I get what you mean."
Gradient looks at CORE, and is almost on the verge of crying, as CORE than spoke put.
"And...Gradient...will you come back into the Omega Timeline, someday? Paperjam, Drop, many of your family members...they are missing you. They really want to see you again."
Gradient looks down, as he spoke out.
"As long as...he...is still out there, I can't. Not until I have freed him from the Unnameable's control. I need to free him first, and than...I will go back to the Omega Timeline. And...speaking of which...can...can you do me a favor, CORE?"
Core looks at Gradient in the eye sockets, as Gradient spoke out.
"If you happen to see any entity that is a spawn, in which it resembles Dead!Dream or my father, Hollow!Ink, or Dead!Nightmare, or perhaps even my other father, Righteous!Error...I need you to do me a favor. If they are ever created, I need you to send Dream, or any Out-Code to retrieve them and bring them to the Omega Timeline, so that they do not end up like their parents. I already had a few close calls with Dead!Palette and Dead!Radier, and I do not need another one again. So, please, can you do this for me, as a friend?"
CORE looks down at the ground, before speaking out.
"I'll see what I can do."
Gradient nodded his head.
"Thank you. The last thing I need is for them to be used as tools or pawns, or consumed by Ink. I don't want them to live in a war such as this, like me."
CORE stood up, as Gradient stood up, and CORE hugged Gradient around the waist, and Gradient hugged CORE back, as CORE let's go, before speaking out.
"Dr. Buck is on her way now, along with Dr. Ahmad. They'll speak to you about SCP-990."
Gradient shook his head, as he than spoke out.
"Figures. Get out of here, fast. And...goodbye, CORE."
CORE nodded their head, as they than vanished from existence, as Gradient sat down in front of his bed, facing the door, as it than opened, revealing Dr. Buck from the other side.
