Laksh was in the meeting hall, talking to his business associates when the door of the room opened and Ragini entered inside in hurry. Everyone snapped their heads in her direction, including Laksh. He was shocked seeing her there. He was glaring her.

Ragini: I'm so sorry for disturbing you gentlemen but I need to talk to my husband. It's very very urgent and important.

She moves towards Laksh and holds him and was literally pulling him with her. Laksh was looking at her strangely. He signs Rohan to handle everything as he moves out with Ragini.

Ragini takes him to his cabin.

Laksh: what the hell? Why did you enter there like that? You literally pulled me out of the meeting. This is not what I expect my wife to do. How could you behave like that?

He pulls his hand from her grip as he finishes his rant. Ragini looks at him with a pout. She closes the door of the cabin.

Ragini: Laksh, please relax. I have something to tell you.

Laksh: it should be very important otherwise I'll see you for disturbing my important meeting.

Ragini nods. She holds his hand and moves towards the couch.

Ragini: you sit first.

Laksh: I don't have time for all this. Just tell me what you want to say.

Ragini: Laksh!! You don't love me?

She asks cutely. Laksh glares her and sits on the couch. Ragini grins. She picks up the coffee mug from the table and passes it to him. He looks at her weirdly.

She has pulled him out of the meeting and brought in his cabin just to make him drink a coffee? Seriously?

Ragini: have some cold coffee. You need to cool down first. Pleach na...

Laksh looks at her irritated and starts drinking the coffee speedily. After a few seconds, he puts the cup back on the table.

Laksh: now say!! I'm running out of patience now.

Ragini picks up a paper bag from the table.

Laksh: what's in it?

She brings out something from the bag and places it on the table. It was a teddy bear with a frowning face. Laksh looks at the teddy bear and then at her.

Laksh: is it your important thing? You wanted to show me your new teddy bear. Wait!! You replaced me?

He asks not believing as he widens his eyes. Ragini chuckles at that.

Ragini: no, I didn't replace you. I can never replace you. You're and always will be my favourite teddy bear. Without cuddling to whom I don't get a peaceful sleep.

Laksh nods satisfied with her reply but he was still angry.

Ragini: do you know who he is?

She asks pointing to the teddy bear. Laksh looks at her weirdly.

Laksh: isn't it a teddy bear? Ragini!! You're wasting my time.

He says glaring her.

Ragini: this is you Mr Maheshwari!! The look on this teddy's face is the look you have on your face most of the time. Mr Angry Akdu Maheshwari.

She says looking at the teddy bear placed on the table.

Laksh looks at the teddy and then back at her. He gives her a 'seriously' look. Ragini nods and Laksh frowns. He get's up.

Laksh: I think you're done with your important thing. I have to go now and I'll deal with you later, for wasting my time.

Ragini holds his hand and pushes him on the couch again. Laksh looks at her angrily.

Laksh: Ragini!! Don't increase my temper.

She bends down to his level and pecks on his lips. Laksh was looking at her with his lips pressed together.

Laksh: it's not going to save you from me.

Ragini chuckles but doesn't say anything as she takes out another teddy bear from the other bag. She places it besides the first one. Laksh lifts his eyebrow up at that.

Laksh: it's you, right?

He asks crossing his arms around his chest. Ragini nods grinning like a child. Laksh rolls his eyes at her.

Ragini: it's me!! Cute and happy always. Mrs Cutipie Angry Akdu Maheshwari.

Laksh looks at her for a few seconds and then holds his head, closing his eyes.

Laksh (thinks): I wonder how did I even fell in love with this eighth wonder of the world? God, this girl will make me mad someday. And the day is not too far.

He comes out of his thoughts when he feels her shaking him. He opens his eyes and looks at her with irritation. She was smiling at him. Her eyes were shining for some reason. He was about to say something but was cut off by Ragini.

Ragini: look there my love.

She says pointing to where the teddy bears were placed. Laksh looks there. There was a third cute little teddy bear placed in between the previous two. Laksh looks on confused.

Laksh: now who's thi...

He stops when his eyes catches something. He reads what was written on the teddy's T-shirt.

Laksh: it's a baby boy...

His eyes widens as he processes the things in his brain. He then looks at Ragini who nods to him while having tears in her eyes. His breathing stops for a while.

Laksh: Ragini!! It's not a matter of joke for me. If you're joking then stop it right now.

He spats angrily at her. Ragini shakes her head in no.

Ragini: do you think that I'll joke about this matter? I'm not joking Laksh. We're going to become parents.

She says with tears flowing endlessly from her eyes. Laksh gets rooted on his place. He wasn't moving a bit. He wasn't believing it. When he didn't say anything for a few seconds, Ragini places her hand on his shoulder. He looks at her with a jerk and gets up from the couch. He moves a little away from her.

Laksh: this is not true. This can't be true. This is not even possible. The doctor said...

Ragini: the doctor said that there were less chances for me to conceive but there were chances and we're lucky enough to have our baby.

Laksh looks at her again, with hope filled eyes this time.

Laksh: you're not lying to me?

He asks innocently like a scared kid. Ragini moves towards him and places her hand on his right cheek.

Ragini: why would I lie about such a sensitive matter? I know how much it matters to you. I know how badly you wanted to have a baby, your son, our son. Congratulations Mr Maheshwari, you're going to be a father.

She says looking at him with all the love of the universe. She was left shocked with what Laksh did the next moment. He falls on his knees and starts crying.

Laksh: oh my god!! Oh my god!! I'm... I'm going to be a father. I can't believe it.

He was crying hiding his face in between his hands. Ragini also kneels down in front of him. He looks up at her with tears in his eyes but a million dollar smile on his lips. He takes her in his arms.

Laksh: thank you so much Ragini. Thank you so very much. You're going to give me the best and most precious gift of my life. I'm not even understanding how to express my happiness right now. I never felt this happy and lucky. I have craved for this day and this happiness but I lost all the hopes to have a baby after that meeting with the doctor but now I'm feeling so blessed, just because of you. Thank you my lady.

He says kissing all over her face. Ragini was just smiling at him. He hugs her more tightly.

Laksh: God, please don't let it be a dream.

He says closing his eyes. Ragini was looking at him with glassy eyes but a smile on her face.

Ragini: it's not a dream love.

Laksh opens his eyes and looks at her face. Ragini blinks her eyes assuringly.

Laksh: then let me make sure that it's not a dream.

He says pulling her more into himself and kisses on her shoulder. He was literally shaking and was having goosebumps on his skin. Ragini could feel that. She was moving her hands on his back to calm him. Laksh breaks the hug when something strikes his mind. Ragini looks at him.

Laksh: but the doctor said that you're n... not strong enough to hold a baby.

He says with fear clearly visible in his eyes. A look of sorrow and sadness passes through Ragini's face at his words but it vanishes as soon as it comes. She puts back a smile on her face.

Ragini: I talked to the doctor. Everything is fine. There's nothing to worry.

She tries to assure him but Laksh shakes his head, not convinced.

Laksh: I myself will meet the doctor and will confirm it by listening it from her. I don't want any complications with your pregnancy. I can't take any kind of risk with your life.

He says as he get's up and helps her in getting up. Ragini was looking at him with panic.

Ragini: Laksh, there's no need of doing that. I am telling you, I talked to her.

Laksh: my decision is final Ragini and you very well know that arguing will give you nothing. Let's go.

He says holding her hand. Ragini panicks more.

Ragini: ok ok... We'll go tomorrow. Okay?

Laksh: no!!

Ragini: please... Let us just enjoy this feeling and moment today. Pleach...

She says as she blackmails him with her puppy face. Laksh sighs.

Laksh: okay!! But this is the first thing we're going to do tomorrow. And no more arguments.

Ragini nods taking a breath of relief and both of them sits on the couch. Ragini places her head on his shoulder while his one hand was around her, moving it on her arm. He looks at the three teddy bears placed on the table. He smiles with his eyes shining with joy as he keeps on staring the smallest one. Ragini was all the time staring him lovingly. He then looks at Ragini.

Ragini: you'll be a great father to our son.

Laksh: how can you be so sure about the baby being a boy?

He asks surprised. Ragini smiles at the question.

Ragini: you wanted a son so it'll be a boy.

Laksh: I wanted a son that doesn't mean I didn't want a daughter or I would love her less. God has finally given this happiness to us. I don't care if it'll be a boy or a girl. The thing that matters is we're going to become parents to our little creation.

He says smiling. Ragini nods.

Ragini: but it'll be a boy. I bet you.

Laksh (chuckling): okay! You're the mother. You're carrying the baby inside you. If you're so sure about it then let's think that it'll be a boy.

Ragini nods satisfied.

Laksh removes her saree aside from her waist. He moves his shaking hand to touch her belly but pulls it back. Ragini shakes her head at his nervousness. She holds his hand. Laksh looks at her. She keeps his hand over her stomach. Laksh smiles like an excited kid. He bends down and kisses on her belly a few times.

Laksh: my God!! He's already there, inside you. He exists. Our baby. I wish I could see him through.

He says cutely. Ragini was looking at him with awe.

Ragini: Laksh, it's only three weeks. At this time, you can't even see him by ultrasound. It'll take sometime for him to grow and then you can see him with the help of ultrasound reports when I'll go through the checkups.

Laksh nods pouting and kisses on her belly again. Ragini was just admiring his acts.

Ragini: you're loving him more than me!!

She complains. Laksh looks up at her. He moves his hand to the back of her head and smoothly pulls her into a kiss, a kiss filled with love, joy and happiness.

Laksh: thank you.

Ragini: there's no need to thank love. I'll do everything to maintain this smile on your handsome face because your smiles makes me feel like the happiest person alive and it's my pleasure to give you the happiness you deserve. I can die for this smile of yours.

Laksh smiles feeling loved. He hugs her, moving his face in her neck.

Ragini: Laksh...

Laksh: hmm...

Ragini: you'll love me more or him?

Laksh: how could you even ask me to choose between you two? I will love you both equally. You both will have your own special places in my heart and my life.

He says kissing her neck softly. Ragini smiles feeling happy with his words.

Ragini: Laksh, you know I love you.

Laksh: and you know I love you more.

Ragini giggles at his usual reply. He never says 'I love you too' but 'I love you more'.

Ragini: so, the news was worth of pulling you out of that meeting hall?

She asks as he breaks the hug and takes her hands in his. Laksh smiles.

Laksh: without any doubt. It's worth of everything. It's the bestest news of my life.
