Kamala- "yes, there are many times where Dougie or I are holding Kamryn while we are eating, Honey, I'm done eating let me hold Kamryn, you're right if we put her in her bassinet she may start crying"

Abby- "all done"

½ hour later...

Everyone except Doug is done eating, he was holding Kamryn while Kamala was eating, now that Kamala is done eating, she's holding Kamryn, while Doug has dinner.

Chrisette- "let mommy wipe your hands and your face, I know Kamala doesn't want spaghetti sauce all over"

Kamala- "no I don't, here's some baby wipes, we have them for Amara, Leela, and all of our nieces when they come over."

Maya comes over a few minutes later. "Hey Sis, I brought dessert, I made, I need some cuddles from Kamryn"

Kamala- "thanks I will clear the table, and of course, here hopefully she won't wake up and be grumpy, she had her 2 month well baby visit, and she had to get 6 shots"

Maya- "I called you to find out how her appointment went and I got your voicemail and then I called Doug and he said you would call me back when you got up from your nap, I brought homemade German chocolate cake, and I know you have ice cream"

Kamala- "he did tell me and I started to call you then Kamryn woke up and she was grumpy and I was trying to comfort her, then Chrisette, Abby and Madison came over, here's Kamryn"

Maya- "aww look Kamryn has 2 Minnie Mouse bandaids and her ears are still red, do they hurt, I know she got them pierced yesterday"

Kamala- "yes they are red and no they don't seem to be hurting her, Dr. Robbins looked at them and she turned her earrings, we can't take them out for 6 weeks, you made my favorite cake"

Maya- "I did"

Kamala is clearing off the table with the dinner dishes, and getting out the plates for desserts forks when Kamryn starts crying, Maya's trying to comfort her.

Kamala sighs a little frustrated "I think it's going to be a long night Dougie"

Doug- "I think you're right honey, I'm all done with dinner, let me get dessert out and you go and comfort Kamryn, I know she's sleepy, and she doesn't feel well"

Kamala- "thanks"

Kamala goes over to where Maya is sitting at the table, "Kamryn mommy's coming"

Abby- "baby cwy" "Mommy"

Chrisette- "Madison is crying too when she hears Kamryn crying, Madison, Mommy's coming"

Maya- "Abby, I will get you out of the highchair and we will play with the blocks while Mommy is feeding Madison."

Chrisette gets up from the table "Doug can I sit in your recliner to feed Madison, since Kamala is in her's"

Doug- "yes you can, I put the nursing pillow there for you"

Chrisette- "Madison it's okay, Mommy's coming"

Chrisette goes to the couch and she picks up Madison's carrier and puts it on the table, and she unbuckles her and she goes to sit in Doug's recliner and she gets the pillow and she unsnaps her tank top and she lays Madison on the pillow and Madison latches on and starts nursing. "Much better, I was full, and starting to hurt"

Kamala picks Kamryn up and she sits on the couch with her pillow and she unsnaps her tank top and lays Kamryn on her pillow and she latches on and starts nursing. "Chrisette, that's how I know it's time for Kamryn to eat, she smells my milk come down and she tells me"

Chrisette- "Madison too, a few days ago my mom was over and she was holding Madison while I was changing Abby's diaper and she was trying to nurse, and my mom said "Madison yes I have them but there is no milk there only Mommy has milk for you"

Kamala- "Kamryn does that all the time"

Doug comes and sits down next to Kamala, "I put the cake away in the fridge, if you want it later I will get you a piece"

Kamala yawns "thanks"

15 minutes later ...

Chrisette looks and Madison has unlatched, and she snaps her tank top and she puts the burp cloth on her shoulder and she picks her up and is rubbing her back, and she burps a few minutes later. She spits up a little bit on the burp cloth. "Kam, Doug, thanks for dinner, Hopefully Kamryn feels better soon, Abby, Madison and I are going to go, I have to give Abby a bath, and I can tell Kamala is sleepy, I will call you tomorrow after work"

Kamala yawns- "you're welcome, I am sleepy, I didn't get a long nap this afternoon, when Kamryn's done with her milk, I'm going to take a shower and relax with Dougie before bed"

Kamala looks and she sees Kamryn has unlatched, "Kamryn, Daddy's going to burp you. Kamala snaps her tank top, and she gives Kamryn and the burp cloth to Doug. "Honey, I'm going to walk Chrisette, Madison and Abby out"
