The next day, you woke up and decided it was time to go to college.

Y'know... the one you've been skipping out on.

As you walk inside, you enter the room you figured Light would be in. You enter the classroom and see Light from afar. You decide not to interfere and simply observe what he does.

"... Light, Light!" Kiyomi Takada tried to get Light's attention.

"I thought you and I were seeing each other. That is, we're more than just friends... you don't look like you enjoy being with me, you haven't even looked at me once, "Kiyomi Takada added, attempting to talk to Light.

You watched in the back with great interest.

I forgot about her... I hope being here doesn't stop their "relationship" because we need her to keep the story going later on.

Light looked at her with a slight annoyance on his face, only visible to you since you know his true personality.

"I think we should-" Light was about to cut things off with her in the middle of class, but you rush in.

"Hey guys!" You greet them both.

Kiyomi and Light look shocked to see you. Light greeted you with a nice smile, while Kiyomi looked at you with annoyance.

I can't have Light break his connection to Kiyomi yet. Then I won't have a way to know how things go later on.

"I hope you don't mind if I sit here." You say, sitting on the side close to Kiyomi.

"Actually-" Kiyomi was about to respond before Light interjected.

"Not at all," Light said, ignoring Kiyomi's look given to him.

Later, after school:

"Hello, Light," you say to him.

"Hey, N/n." Light greets you.

"Listen, don't burn your bridges with Kiyomi. She will be a valuable partner in the future. Her career will help Kira." As you whisper to Light, you make sure no one else can hear you.

Light looked at you and nodded.

"Hm.. okay, this will be annoying. I would prefer it if you would just help me out the whole way through," Light said, looking over at you with a hopeful stare.

"I felt guilty since you normally would still be with Kiyomi and not try to push her off if it wasn't for me." You say, not bothering to spend more time on this topic.

This is sort of confirmed proof that he likes me. This is the first official member of the harem. Your thoughts make you smile.

"Anyways, can I take Ryuk out to the city? I want to spend some time with him, "you request, hoping you can discuss some things with Ryuk.

Ryuk, who didn't look too interested in the conversation, now looks at you suspiciously.

"I can buy you apples, and all sorts of things with apples in them, way more than what light could do for you." You smile innocently, hiding your true intentions.

You noticed Ryuk had a change in attitude. Before Light could even respond, Ryuk quickly gets behind you, as a sign of willingness to go.

"The shinigami has spoken; let's go! You can go to the task force building. I'll be going now. Cya "you walk away with Ryuk

Ryuk was following you as you were going toward the busy part of town.

"Soo... let's go get the apples." I'd also like to discuss the future with you. It will be very interesting and I'm sure you'd love to see that, right? " You say, leaving no room for Ryuk to agree or disagree.

When Light entered the room with the members,

"Come in, your timing couldn't have been better. We just received a new video message from the second Kira. I believe it's the last one, "L said.

"I've decided to stop searching for Kira, and I'd like to thank the police station for the advice. However, I still plan to help Kira on his mission, and I hope he will see me as an ally. I will be killing criminals. Kira has yet to judge. I will also share my powers with those who I think are worthy. Together we will make this world a better place. " The robotic voice on the computer said

"After watching this, I could only think that Kira and the second Kira made contact," L said, while eating

Light didn't respond.

"Oh come on, didn't you sense it? I was sure you would come to the same conclusion I did after watching this," L told Light.

"First, consider how determined he was to meet Kira. Why the sudden change? Now he wants to get Kira to see him as an ally. It begs the question, why didn't he do this to begin with? " L added

"I'm guessing it's because he never thought that far ahead. He probably met Kira and was told which criminals he would be allowed to judge." I suspect the purpose of this message is to hide the fact that they've met. L concluded his statement.

"I find it hard to believe Kira's being so careless," Light told L.

"That's true, but are we to believe Kira made a mistake this time, or is his way of letting us know they made contact? It would be an effective means to provoke us. However, this is one less reason to suspect Light to be Kira, "L told the room, shocking Mr. Yagami.

"What did you say, Ryuzaki?" Mr. Yagami said in disbelief and joy.

"If Light is Kira, I don't think this is the message he would have had the second Kira send. It wouldn't fit. He would've made the second Kira go through with the plan. " L said, but he was still suspicious at the same time.

Back to you and Ryuk:

Both you and Ryuk were walking together through the city.

"So, do you only like apples or stuffed with apples inside of them?" You asked.

"I like apples wherever they are," Ryuk said, excited at the thought of apples.

"Alright, first I'll get you a bunch of apples. Then we're going to have a picnic and speak, okay? I promise you it's going to be worth it, " you smiled.

"Okay," Ryuk eagerly nodded.

You went to a stand at the side of the street and grabbed a big bin of apples, with around 15 in each.

Grabbing 2 boxes, you proceed to put them to the side. It was very heavy. Your body when you arrived in this world was surprisingly agile and strong, which you found out when breaking into Light's house.

After that, you trained yourself, expecting to be in many fights in this universe. You started doing push ups and lifting weights. It finally paid off because lifting the box didn't feel heavy for you at all.

You took out the stack of cash you had in your pocket, which is more than enough. Due to the allowance you've been receiving from L, you pay for the apples.

You then walk into a convenient store and grab products that contain apples, such as: apple juice, apple pie, and apple sauce.

After getting all the items you needed, you go to a park nearby and sit down under a tree.

"Let me eat the apples now," Ryuk said, not being able to contain himself.

"Okay, I'll start you off with the normal apples, then I'll show you stuff that has apples inside of it," you explain.

Ryuk starts to eat the apples right away.

"So, I know you want to stay neutral, BUT since I'm here, I will be assisting both sides, so according to basic math, it cancels out," you tell Ryuk.

Ryuk nods, mostly focusing on apples.

"How about an alliance?" You ask with an evil grin.

Ryuk stops and looks up.

"An alliance?" Ryuk repeats

"Yes, you heard me right. I know you stand neutral, but since I'm here, things are going to be a lot more interesting and there will be a lot more twists. " You attempt to make Ryuk more interesting.

"Therefore, it's only logical to want the more entertaining route. Which is with me," you nod at your reasonable explanation.

"What do you say?" you ask, handing him the other box of apples.

"By the way... these items have apples inside of them, meaning you will also taste sugar inside and other small ingredients." You hand over the bag with everything inside

"It's not a bribe, think of it more like a gift. A token of friendship "you smile

"The only thing I would need is your cooperation. Let's say I get into a tough situation. You back me up by flying me outta there," you say, attempting to guide him towards your side.

" I also be giving you apples, more than Light can give, since Light already revealed that shinigamis like apples. People will be watching him but not me" you add.

Ryuk was shoveling the apples into his mouth.

"Mnn sure," he nods, eager at the fact that he's getting apples, also excited that things will be getting more interesting.

"By the way, I can tell someone's watching us. I think it's a detective, "Ryuk says, looking over at someone watching you.

Is Ryuk actually helping me? He didn't mention the detective because he was uncomfortable but because he thought i should know.. How sweet!

You subtly take a look and see the same person.

"If you killed him, would that kill you?" You asked curiously.

"I can't see your lifespan, so I can't tell." Ryuk shrugs

"Whatever, he will probably tell L about the apples, but I'm not that worried. He's far enough away so he can't hear me, but he can see my mouth moving." You wonder what to do.

You thought of a plan.

You use the hand that's hidden from view to grab your phone.

You said, "Alright, bye, talk to you later," loud enough for the detective to hear you, so he got the impression you were on the phone.

You leave the crate that previously had apples behind. Leaving the items behind, you start to walk away.

"I'm glad to have this cooperation with you, Ryuk." you smile.

Ryuk nods.

"Humans are interesting." Ryuk says

You and Ryuk both walk to Light's house. You figured you would walk Ryuk back. You mostly talked to him about the characters you liked and didn't like.

When you arrive at the Yagami household, you see Misa on top of Light in front of the house in the driveway. The scene in which Misa leaps onto Light

Your eyes widen, not expecting this but remembering the scene. Misa and Light look up at you while Misa looks at you in confusion while being on guard.
