I got a few tumblr prompts so... this was one of them. The prompt was Solangelo dancing; here it is!

Will's fingers traced small patterns on Nico's palm, following the lines on his skin and the prints decorating his palms.

(Nico's palm was ticklish, and Will knew it)

The son of Hades hmphed a little bit, shifting to move his head onto Will's shoulder. He felt the blonde smile, arm easily curling around Nico's side to wrap around his waist.

Will's fingers started playing with Nico's hand, pinching each finger gently and moving them apart, as if he were deeply curious about the way his hand worked.

"What are you doing?" Nico asked quietly.

Will's voice vibrated against Nico's head as he answered, "Testing out your grip."

At that, Nico twisted fully to stare at Will's blue eyes in amusement. "Why?"

"Why not?"

Nico had no answer, and he turned the words around in his head before shrugging. "Good point."

Will nodded seriously, but his lips twisted into a smile as he leapt to his feet, dislodging Nico with a startled, "Hey!"

Will's hand extended down, and Nico took it; but hesitantly, because when Will's eyes were sparkling with this much excitement, it usually meant that he was about to suggest a nonsensical activity that Nico would then have to pretend to hate.

(Will saw through his scowl every time, though)

"Let's dance," were Will's next words, and Nico only stared at him.

"Are you serious?" the black-haired boy couldn't help asking. "Here? Now? Without music?"

Will nodded, as if it were obvious that the only thing anyone would ever want to do was dance. Without music. Here. Now.

But his eyes sparkled, and Nico's (admittedly weak) defenses melted, and he grabbed Will's hand, making sure to keep his annoyed scowl on his face.

"Well, if you insist," he agreed dramatically.

Will's smile grew to be huge.

And then they danced.

I love Solengelo so much. This was pretty short (very short-) but yeah, I wanted to save it somewhere. Hope you liked it!
