Casey's P. O. V.

Applejack, Raph, and I were walking to Sunset's apartment. "Don't worry Sugarcube, we got your back," AJ assured Raph. "I just hope she'll believe me," said Raph. "I think with all the evidence lying around, she'll believe ya," I said. After a few minutes, we were outside her apartment. "Wait here," I said, "AJ and I will talk to her first." I then knocked on the door in the tune to Shave And A Haircut, Two Bits.

Sunset's P. O. V.

I was putting things together with what was currently going on. First Flash and Mona called Raph, threatening him to break up with me. Then Mona and the Turtles' exes kidnapped me while Flash and the girls' exes beat my brother... Then April let us go, only for her and the others to kiss the Turtles... This can't all be a coincidence... My thoughts are interrupted as I hear knocking on the door. I then opened the door, and saw Applejack and Casey outside. "Howdy Sunset!" Applejack said in a jovial tone, smiling. "Hey AJ. Hey Casey," I said, a little surprised to see them. "Mind if we come in?" asked Casey. "Sure, come on in," I said, letting my friends in. "How've you been Sunset?" asked Casey.

I gave a sardonic smile and said, "Well, I'd be lying if I said I'm okay... Especially since you can tell when I'm lying Applejack." AJ laughed and said, "Well, it's true." Casey smirked and said, "It's why you're the honest one." We all chuckled a bit. AJ put her hand on my shoulder and said, "We all know you've been through a lot lately." I looked down and said, "It's been emotionally draining for me..."

"We know," said Casey, "the thing is, Raph wants to explain a few things... Just give him a chance..." Raphael then came in, and I glared at him. "What do you want Raphael?" I said with resentment. "Look, I know you're mad Sunset," he replied, "and I understand why you never want to see me again. And if you don't want to talk to me by the time I'm done explaining things, I'll leave you alone for good, I promise. The thing is, it's quite obvious your ex and my ex were trying to sabotage our relationship, so that we would get back together with our respective exes. And in a way, they succeeded... Mona and April paralyzed my brothers with poisonous darts."

"So they held you against your will and took advantage of you?" I asked, putting it altogether. Whether he was lying, I'm unsure... "He's telling the truth, Sunset!" AJ confirmed. "I know you're still angry Sunset," continued Raph, "but you have to know, I would never choose Mona over you... Not after what she did... And I blame myself for Garrett getting beaten up... I didn't heed Flash's warning, and Garrett suffered for it!" He was starting to tear up. "Can't you see Sunset?" Casey asked, "Raph's a mess without you!" Raph wiped his tears and said, "I understand if you've lost all love for me... But please Sunset; all I want is for you to forgive me..." More tears were coming down his eyes.

It all makes sense now. I then walked up to Raph, and hugged him. "Oh, Raph..." I said, "of course I forgive you. And what happened to Garrett isn't your fault. I'm so sorry I let my anger get the better of me and I turned my back on you when I should've listened." Raph hugged me and said, "I forgive you also... If you're willing to take me back -" I then kissed him on the lips and said, "Of course I'll take you back baby." Raphael smiled and said, "I love you Sunset Shimmer..." Suddenly, he got the necklace he bought me when we started dating. "You still had my necklace?" I asked, surprised. "It'd be a shame if something so nice were to go to waste," he replied as he put the necklace on me. We then embraced each other, our two hearts reconnected and our love reborn like a phoenix.
