I needed some Hazabeth/Annazel so I decided to write some myself.

If y'all read the chaoters before this one, then you understand.

Annabeth giggled and spun Hazel around in the air, the smaller girl laughing as well. "Annabeth!" She giggled, "What's this for?" Annabeth stopped spinning her and set her down gently on the ground and wrapping her in a tight hug.

"Oh, nothing really. You're just beautiful and adorable and my heart jumps and twists and sings every time I see you." Annabeth pressed a kiss to Hazel's forehead as the chocolate-skinned girl blushed and giggled.

"Aww, Annabeth..." Hazel's blush just got worse and worse and of course Annabeth was cooing about how cute her girlfriend was.

"Hey! Everyone! Look at how cute my girlfriend is!" Hazel's blush went even darker if at all possible when everyone's eyes turned to look at her and Annabeth after the father of Athena yelled for their attention. Most smiled, some giggled, a few cooed, but pretty much everyone was thinking about how cute the two of them were together.

"Annabeth..." Hazel whined, turning and burying her head in her girlfriend's shirt. Annabeth smiled and stroked her hair.

"What's the matter, Golden Girl?" (Legit so proud of myself right now. *puffs out non-existent chest* I just came up with that and isn't it fricking adorable?) Annabeth softly kissed the top of Hazel's curly hair. "Don't like it when I show you off?" Hazel huffed and kept her face buried in the orange fabric of Annabeth's Camp Half-Blood t-shirt.

Annabeth smiled down at her before tucking her hands under Hazel's arms and lifting her into the air again. Hazel squeaked in surprise as Annabeth twirled her around, sitting Hazel on her shoulders. "Annabeth! Where are we going?" Hazel said as Annabwt h started to walk off somewhere.

"The woods."

"Why are we going there?"

"You'll see." Hazel huffed and crossed her arms at her girlfriend's vague answer, but smiled non-the-less. Annabeth's hands were wrapped securely around her calves and Hazel had crossed her feet in front of Annabeth's chest so she trusted that she wouldn't fall, even if she wasn't holding on with her hands.

As Hazel sat on Annabeth's shoulders, she started thinking about everything had had led here.

It was five years after the Giant War, five years since Hazel and Annabeth had broken. Three years since they had helped patch each other back together. It all stated when they fought Gaea at Camp Half-Blood.

"Hazel, if I don't come back, I want you to tell Annabeth I love her, okay? Tell her I'm sorry. Promise me that, please." Percy hand grabbed Hazel's hand in the middle of the battle field and looked at her with his gorgeous eyes swirling with thoughts moving so fast that she couldn't comprehend them.

"Percy, what do you mean? What do you mean if you don't come back? You're not going anywhere!" Hazel exclaimed, gripping his hand tightly. Percy just looked at her sadly before pulling his hand away and running off into the writhing mass if demigods and monsters. "Percy!"

Hazel ran after him, weaving between fighters and jumping over bodies laying on the ground. "Percy! Wait!" Hazel's cry caught Annabeth's attention from a few feet away and she looked over and saw Percy dashing through the melee with Hazel chasing after him.

"Percy!" She had called, stabbing the monater she was fighting and taking off after him as well. "Percy, what are you doing!?" She looked toward where he was headed and swore under breath, pouring in speed, praying to Hermes that she would be fast enough to reach him in time to stop him.

Hazel followed Annabeth's gaze and and muttered some colorful language of her own when she finally pieced together what was going on. She looked around to see if there was anyone closer to Percy who might have been able to stop him or at least slow him down.

She spotted Frank. "FRANK! STOP PERCY!" She cried, pushing her legs to run faster. Frank stopped and followed her pointed finger to where Percy was weaving his way through the crowd in his direction. Frank nodded his head and began shoving past people, going to intercept Percy. Please let him stop him! Hazel thought desperately.

But Percy was faster than all of them, he hurled past Frank a moment before the son of Mars had reached him. Annabeth and Hazel were still to far behind to do anything. Frank started to give chase as well but Percy was already to far ahead of him as well.

"HEY, DIRT FACE!" Percy's voice rang across the field, loud, demanding, and full. Everyone froze and everything fell silent. Even the wind stopped, as if the very universe were holding it's breath, waiting to see what he would say next. Gaea slowly turned toward him.

"Perseus Jackson... So nice to see you with my eyes open, little pawn." She twisted her mouth into a gruesome grin. Percy snarled and lifted his chin.

"If I surrender myself to you, will you swear on the Styx -- wait you're a primordial, that won't matter to you -- do you swear to Chaos that you will stop all this and never attack the world again. Swear to Chaos that you will go back to sleep and admit defeat!" His voice rang out across the field and echoed between the frozen demigods and monsters.

Annabeth started running toward him again. "PERCY, NO! NO!" Percy looked back at her before turning back to Gaea. She titled her head and squinted her impossibly green eyes before smiling again.

"I accept your bargain, Perseus." Gaea kept her smirk on her face and reached out a hand, beckoning to Percy. Annabeth screamed. Percy turned back to her and smiled sadly. He capped Riptide and tossed the pen toward his girlfriend.

"Take care of it for me." He called. "I love you. And... I'm sorry."

"Then don't do it!" Annabeth fought the pen and fell to her knees, tears trailing down her face.

"I'm sorry, Wise Girl. I love you." Percy turned and put his hand in Gaea's.

Annabeth screamed.

Gaea smirked and her and Percy dissapeared in a swirl of dirt and grass.

Annabeth continued to scream. Another scream joined hers and it took Hazel a moment to realize it was her own. And then Piper was screaming. Jason was howling in rage and attacking monsters, slaughtering any that stood in his path. Frank had morphed into a lion and was roaring his own fury to the sky as he tore monsters apart. Leo was a living flame, burning any monster that came close enough to ash, his scream tearing through the air and fueling his flames.

Every demigod turned into a raging storm of wrathfull vengeance as they began to tear down the monsters. Before long, every creature was gone and everyone was covered in golden dust and slime and the green grass shone and glittered with the piles and flecks if the dust as the sun set.

Annabeth still had not moved. Instead, she sat bent over, curling around the pen she held clutched tightly in her hands to her stomach, her face awash with tears. Hazel walked over and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, kneeling down in front of her. Annabeth looked up at her. "He gone, again, Hazel. He's gone." Annabeth leaned forward and began to sob into Hazel's shoulder. All Hazel could do was wrap her arms around the daughter of Athena and let her cry, letting her own tears fall as well.

Hazel began scanning the battle field for their friends. She saw Piper and Jason making their way over, and Leo running their way from farther off. Nico was coming toward them and so was Reyna, as well as some girl with spiky black hair and silver clothes. But Hazel didn't see Frank.

"Frank?" She called out, waiting for an answer. Their friends, hearing her worried call, began to look around for her boyfriend. "Frank!" She called again, fear gripping her heart. She heard Leo gasp and take off running toward a figure lying on the ground.

She watched him closely and her eyes widened when she saw him kneel down next to it, and then Reyna and Nico were rushing over, Jason and Piper not far behind. The silver clad girl kept running toward them, though. She knelt next to Hazel and gently moved Annabeth from her shoulder to her own. "Go. I've got her." The girl said gently, beginning to rub circles into Annabeth's shaking back. Hazel nodded in a silent thank you and jumped to her feet, taking off toward where everyone was gathered.

Tears came faster to her eyes as she got closer, beginning to be able to make out the figure laying on the ground. "FRANK!" She screamed, falling to her knees and skidding the last few feet to his side. She scooped up his head and cradled it in her arms. "Frank..."

Hee moaned and squinted open his eyes. "H-Hazel..." His voice rasped. There were deep gouges in his stomach from where some monster had clawed him, as well as multiple other little scratches. "I love you, Hazel." His voice was little more than a whisper.

"Hang in there, Frank. You're going to be alright." Hazel sobbed, rubbing her thumb across his cheek. Frank shook his head, his eyes fluttering.

"I love y-you, Haz-zel. I l-love you."

"I love you too, Frank. So, so, much. I love you." Frank's eyes fluttered shut as he let out a sigh, another breath not entering his body. Hazel bent down over him and rested her head on his chest, more tears coming in an endless flood.

It seemed as though the tears would never stop.

Frank had died, and they didn't know what had happened to Percy until two years later (three years ago).

Annabeth hadn't given up on finding her boyfriend. She refused to believe that he was gone forever, she refused to believe that she would never see him again. She asked Rachel for prophecies, but the Oracle remained silent, never spouting any words for her. Still, Annabeth went out looking, others did too. The seven, Nico, Reyna, the Hunter Thalia who had comforted Annabeth when Hazel had gone to see Frank that day, so many people never gave up.

Until one day, Annabeth had been about leave again to go looking for Percy, and everyone heard her scream tear through Camp. Hazel had been the first to reach her at the Poseidon cabin where she now stayed. Hazel had let out a scream of her own when she stepped inside.

Because there was Percy, laying on his bed, completely naked. He was covered in scars that hadn't been there before he was taken. Bruises were every where. He was covered in blood and opened wounds, some still looking fresh. His position was so wrong, so twisted around, that Hazel knew that every bone in his body must have been broken. His eyes were wide open, staring at nothing. The green and blue pools that used to be filled with life and emotion now empty of everything.

And scrawled across the wall next to him in what could only have been his own blood was a note; 'Here is your hero back' There was another, linger one taped to his bare ad bloody chest. 'I had some fun with him before deciding it was time to return him. I'm afraid he might be a little broken now, it you can have him anyway. I want you to know that he was a very fun toy, I did all kinds if things to him while he was in my possession. He was very disobedient at first, but eventually I broke him. Got him to do whatever I wanted. He was very pleased after that. He screamed when I told him to scream, cried when I told him to cry, begged when I told him to beg, and fucked me when I told him to fuck me. Oh how his screams and his broken spirit gave me the most pleasant feeling in my chest. And my, was he wonderful in bed. He was unenthusiastic at first, but when I told him to put some feeling into it, it was amazing. I haven't had sex in millennia and it was so much fun to have it with him. Of course, it felt even better knowing how much it would hurt you. So here, take him back, I have run out if ways to take pleasure from him and he had nothing led to give anyway. I broke him, and there was nothing you could do to stop me.' Hazel sobbed after reading the letter. Gaea had tortured him, broken him, she had raped him.

Oh gods. Poor Percy. He didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve any of this.

Hazel had fallen to her knees beside Annabeth next to Percy's bed and sobbed right beside her now closest friend.

She and Annabeth had gotten really close since Percy's disappearance and Frank's death, becoming best friends.

And after day, after finding Percy dead, they had become even closer. Slowly, Hazel began to make Annabeth smile again. Began to make Annabeth laugh again.

Until one day, maybe almost a year later, they were hanging out in the Poseidon cabin, just talking, and out of nowhere, Annabeth leaned forward and kissed Hazel, freezing her midsentance as the daughter of Athena's lips landed on her own. Hazel had frozen in shock, not knowing what to do.

Annabeth pulled back, tears in her eyes. "I love you, Hazel Levesque. You have been the only one keeping me alive, you have been there for me and you've helped me accept that Percy is gone. I think I'm ready to move on. And, I want to move on with you. You mean so much more to me than just as a best friend now, and I want you to know that, and I want you to be more than that to me, I want to be more than that to you. I want you to be my girlfriend, Hazel. But I understand if you don't want to-" Hazel cut her off by lunging forward and crashing her lips into Annabeth's again, kissing the girl like the world was ending.

Annabeth kissed back immediately. And then Hazel deepened the kiss, tilting her head to the side and sliding her tongue across Annabeth's lips, savoring the taste of cherry chapstick. Annabeth's lips parted and their tongues twisted together. (T-T I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS WORKS, OKAY? PLEASE DON'T JUDGE! T-T) Hazel withdrew her tongue back into her mouth and Annabeth's followed, trailing along Hazel's teeth and twirling around inside her mouth. Then they switched and Hazel's tongue was inside Annabeth's mouth, tracing her teeth and sliding alone the roof of her mouth the inside of her cheeks. Hazel felt Annabeth's hands tangle in her hair and she felt her own hands twist into Annabeth's. (OH GOD THAT WAS SO AWKWARD TO WRITE. DID I GET THAT ALL WRONG? I PROBABLY GOT THAT ALL WRONG. THAT'S PROBABLY REALLY BAD. THAT'S REALLY BAD. I'M SORRY GUYS.)

Hazel had no clue how long they kissed before they both had to pull back, gasping for air. Annabeth and Hazel both panted, forcing air back into their lungs as they stared at each other. "Will you be my girlfriend, Annabeth Chase?" Hazel asked breathlessly.

Annabeth gasped out a laughed and nodded vigourusly before grabbing Hazel's face and pulling her in for another kiss, this one just as passionate.

Hazel smiled at that memory. That was a good one. When people first found out about the two of them daring, they had been a little sceptical about the large age-gap, but all of their friends had supported them and congratulated them, glad to see their two friends finally fully happy again.

Hazel was now eighteen, while Annabeth was now twenty-two, but both of them were still so happy together. And because of being demigods and the war, they were both very mature so they didn't really notice the age-gap all the much.

Though, Annabeth was considerably taller than Hazel, standing at 6'0 while Hazel stood at 5'5". Hazel was really short, and Annabeth was really tall. It's no fair, in Hazel's opinion. Though, cuddling was very nice.

Hazel was shaken out of her thought when her and Annabeth emerged from the trees into a clearing. There was a small table set up in the middle of it, lit by candles and set with sparkling grape juice and shrimp gumbo and very fancy silverware.

Hazel gasped and leaned forward on Annabeth's shoulders. "Annabeth...!" Hazel breathed in disbelief. "How...?"

Annabeth lifted her girlfriend off her shoulders and smiled down at her when she saw her amazed face. She pecked Hazel's cheek and smiled lovingly. "I asked the harpies to make you're favorite meal, and the dryads were very helpful in setting everything up." Hazel smiled up at her girlfriend and stood on her tiptoe to give her a lingering kiss on the lips.

"Oh, thank you, Annabeth." She breathed.

"Happy birthday, Golden Girl." (I know Hazel's birthday is in December, but they're at Camp, so the magical barrier keeps it warm enough for a picnic, okay? Okay.) Annabeth leaned down again and gave Hazel a kiss, the latter quickly turning it into something far more passionate. She jumped up and wrapped her legs around Annabeth's waist and Annabeth picked her up and carried her toward the table in the middle of the clearing, the lips stop locked together as their tongues twisted together. (AND I DOING THIS RIGHT? T-T IS THIS HOW IT WORKS??? T-T)

Annabeth set Hazel down in her chair and reluctantly pulled away. "Let's eat, birthday girl." Annabeth smiled lovingly at her and Hazel smiled lovingly back. Annabeth sat down in her seat and they both reached out to clasp hands over the table. Using her other hand, Annabeth grabbed her glass if sparkling grape juice and raised it in Hazel's direction. "To my beautiful girlfriend who deserves more love and affection than I could ever dream of giving her." Hazel blushed deeply and clinked her glass with Annabeth's.

They both took ships before Hazel spoke. "You are more than anything I could ever deserve, Annabeth. You are everything I need. I love you, and I always will. You are all that I want." Hazel gently squeezed Annabeth's hand over the table and smiled at her.

Now it was Annabeth's turn to blush crimson at Hazel's words of affection. They both smile and began to eat.

After they were done eating, they both stood up and Annabeth lifted Hazel into her arms again, this time carrying her bridal-style. Hazel sighed in content and buried her head in the crook of Annabeth's kneck, wrapping her arms loosely around her shoulders. "Annabeth?" She muttered. Annabeth hummed in question. "I think I'm ready."

"Oh?" Annabeth said, her voice a smile in itself. Hazel nodded into Annabeth's shoulder.

"I'm eighteen now, and your twenty-two. If you're not ready, that's okay. But I am." Hazelcsighed her head to place her lips against Annabeth's ear. "Whenever you want to, I want to give you everything." Hazel's voice whispered into Annabeth's ear, making her shiver.

Annabeth smiled again. "Well, I'm ready to give you everything too. How about when we get back to the Poseidon cabin?" Annabeth said, turning her head and brushing her lips against Hazel's.

"That sounds perfect." Hazel hummed and buried her head in the crook of Annabeths neck again, closing her eyes and sighing in happiness. "I love you, Annabeth."

"I love you too, Hazel."
