"What did you need again?" Annabeth asked, walking into Bunker 9 to meet Leo.

He looked up from his machine, "Oh, hey Anna! Uh, I was wondering if I could ask for some advice."

"Advice? About what?"

"...Girls"

Annabeth looked slightly shocked for a moment, before sighing and sitting down, "So, ask away."

"Well, I mean, I really like Calypso. Er, at least I did, or maybe I still do? I don't know, but something just seems kinda, " he paused, thinking for a word, "Off, lately."

Annabeth thought about this for a second or so before replying, "Well, maybe you just didn't belong together."

Leo looked up into her eyes, looking confused, "Then who do I belong with?"

She looked right back at him, "It depends on what you're looking for."

They were left in silence, looking into each others eyes. They slowly started to lean forward, as the world faded out, and-

As soon as they could feel each others breaths, they jerked back, as something fell.

Leo rubbed his neck nervously, and Annabeth quickly put her hair into a bun.

"Um, I better go, Percy will be back soon..." Annabeth mumbled, and left quickly.

Leo sighed, hanging his head, and silently cursing his stupidity.

Annabeth waited at the shoreline for Percy, knowing he would make his way here. She waits for about thirty minutes before hearing a familiar voice behind her.

"Hey, what's up? You weren't at the campfire," he says, sitting near her.

She looks down with guilt, before gathering her courage and looking him in the eye, "Percy, I, um, I-"

He grins, "Did you finally agree to do the blue food challenge?"

"Not exactly," she shakes her head, "Percy, I'm breaking up with you."

"What?" Percy yells, standing up, "Why? Annabeth, I love you, if somethings wrong I can fix it, if you need anything at all I swear I'll get it. But please, don't do this."

Annabeth didn't dare to look meet his eyes. She knew the tears were there, just as her own. "I'm sorry..."

And the next time she looked up, he was gone.

Leo sat down next to Calypso, sighing.

"The sunset is beautiful. I think that's the one thing I miss about my island," Calypso says, looking at it.

Leo closed his eyes for a second, before looking at her, "Hey... Calypso, listen. I, uh, have to tell you something."

She looks at him, "Yeah? What is it?"

He took a deep breath. "I... I'm breaking up with you..." he mumbles, looking down.

"What?"

"I'm... breaking up with you," Leo says a bit louder.

"I knew this would happen!" she yells, eyes forming tears quickly while Leo just sits there. "Fine! But at least tell me why!"

"It's for... Annabeth..." He says, knowing Annabeth had Percy, but he would ask about that soon.

"F- fine!" Calypso somehow makes out through the tears, "Good-bye then!"

Leo was back in Bunker 9, his face still red and wet from crying. It's not like he didn't still like Calypso, but this was his first real relationship. Even if it were falling apart, he still took it as a punch in the gut.

Soon he heard the door slam shut, and heavy breathing. He looked up to see none other than Annabeth, who hadn't seen him yet. She seemed to be in the same state he was, though he couldn't imagine why.

She finally looked up, and they once again locked eyes. They both tried to wipe their tears quickly.

"So, " Leo says, trying to cover up how bad he felt, "How about that weather?"

She looks at him, and cracked a smile, "Pretty good. But, I really need to tell you something."

"So do I. On three?"

"One three. One, two, three."

"I broke up with Percy/Calypso because I really like you!"

They both looked down awkwardly, before realizing what the other one had said.

"Yo- you like me?" Leo asks, dumbfounded.

"You like me?" Annabeth replies.

"Well, yeah, I mean you're smart, and funny, and really just down to earth."

She walks over to him, and takes a seat. "I can't believe you noticed... how long have you liked me?" she asks.

"Since the day I met you, but I guess I couldn't really say anything about it, cause you were so worried about Percy."

Annabeth didn't really know what to say, for one of the first times in her life. "So, if we both broke up..."

"Then it makes it alright to do this," Leo says, before kissing her.
