Preston's P.O.V
I decided to sit in on the new gaming presentation, I hope it's something that is good. I'm standing up in the back because all the seats are taken.

As the presentation starts, their tech begins to glitch almost. My eyes narrow at it and then they transfer it to a video. I cross my arms seeing something I instantly don't like. The beginning of the video is on snowy mountains with a village at the bottom. As the focus goes in, there's something that I almost recognize. Notch showed up pictures of the Minecraftia Game, the game with Mitch in it. This..this looks like it. It's looks sort of like Minecraft, but real life version. There's monsters, animals, people in it. Yet it requires the same equipment that Notch used for the reject game. Words appear and they say 'All new way of gaming!' 'A real life experience!' and more like that. I can tell that the crowd is impressed with this and excited.

Especially when it says that it's going online in three days. I clench my fists. Then a figure catches my eye. The presenter comes out with the mic in their hand.

"And let's not forget the heroine, the main character of this new game that will be helping you. His name is Vincent!" The presenter said. A black and red checkered jacket figure with the hood up, darkening their face, and a black quiver on their back full of arrows appears on the screen and they are standing on the snowy mountain. They smile. My eyes widen. That's Mitch!

"Join me on a whole new gaming experience that beats the VR set." He said. The crowd cheers while I pull out my phone. I call Jerome. I put my phone on my ear as I look up the screen to see the game is called One Life.

"How ironic." I said. Jerome answers.

"What's up Preston?" Jerome asks.

"We got a serious problem." I said.

"How serious?" Jerome asks.

"You know the gaming presentation?" I ask leave the very loud room and into a quiet hallway.

"Yes." He said.

Jerome's P.O.V
"They took Notch's reject Minecraft game and turned it into a game that is launching in three days. And it's called One Life." Preston said. I look over at Vikk as my eyes widen.

"What?!" I ask.

"We got to-HEY!" Preston suddenly yells.

"Preston? What's wrong?!" I ask.

"Jerome! Hel-" Preston yelled. I hear Preston and two other guys on his end and what almost sounds like struggling.

"What's wrong Jerome?" Rob asks.

"Preston! Where are you?!" I ask quickly. I hear a gunshot sound making me jump and the phone call ends. I stuff my phone in my pocket. "Come on guys. Gaming presentation area now!" We all run towards there, but once we get there, he isn't anywhere around here. How could no one hear that gunshot?! We go into the hallway and there isn't anything here.

"Hey. Hey. Look." Rob said picking up Preston's VIP pass. I look at it.

"It has blood on it." Vikk said taking it. That's not good. One of our cell phones ring and it's Lachlan. He pulls it out and looks at it.

"It's Notch. The last message popped up on his computer." He said.

"What did it say?" Rob asks. Lachlan signs.

"Every game...needs a beta tester." He said.
