Ch.1 Beautiful Fallen Angel
"Traitor! This act of killing a member of the royal family will get you killed!"
"No please! I didn't do it! I-I never would kill!"
The king spat in my face. My beautiful pure white wings were chained up against a huge holy cross. I would never kill my best friend.... I wouldn't... this was a mistake!
I bit at the magical bindings, it was burning my tongue bad but I could care less. I wouldn't let Duncan's death be in vain. The cross was burning both of my wings at the same time, making it feel like hell. Tears escaped my eyes as I forced myself to not cry, to use the tears to sob at what has come to happen in my useless life.
"Enough!" The king who I once knew so well smacked me across the face. "You'll be sent down to Earth. You'll be rid of your immortality, just like you swiped away from my son! You're a demon... an angel who became one."
"I DIDN'T KILL HIM! YOU'VE KNOWN ME FOR AGES!"
"BE QUIET!" The king raged at me, his own eyes filled with tears. "If an angel sees you alive they are allowed to kill you on the spot, also making your death how they please. Get out of my sight."
The cross binding me started glowing a bright white color. I sobbed and reached out to the coffin. I screamed his name before free falling in the air. The cross disappeared, but my wings wouldn't expand. I cursed under my breath but they were drowned out by the winds screaming. Blood was coming out of my nose from the force of gravity as I clawed at my wings.
"OPEN DAMN IT!"
The ground was getting closer and closer with each passing second. In a last resort I tied my wings together to cover my landing. My life flashed before my eyes as I winced when I saw Duncan's lifeless eyes, soon to become like mine. When the impact hit me, all I could feel was pure pain. I couldn't hear anything as my body was shaking weakly. Blood pooled around me at every angle.
I could feel my heart beating slower and slower as I watched the evening sun set behind the mountains. Everything to this point that I already knew I was going to die soon enough.
"I-I'm so sorry..." I whispered quietly, "D-Duncan..." softly and gently I let the covers of deaths darkness take me...

"Oh dear, It seems I still haven't found the source of the smoke. I'm dreadfully hungry... maybe a bear's meat will calm my stomach down."
I couldn't stand how demon hunger worked. If you didn't eat your stomach the hunger would get worse and your powers would get weaker and weaker by the lack of energy. Down in Hell, I had no problems getting souls into my mouth just fine, but living his life as a servant was already a hell for me.
Suddenly, I sensed something and reached for my daggers. The aura was of an angel... but also a demon. How new. I've never seen anything like that. Maybe it was the source of the smoke...
I found my way to aura and found something, making my cat like eyes widen in shock. It was an angel. It was a girl, looking around to be eighteen or twenty. She wore armor, maybe she was a knight of the royal family in heaven.
Stepping closer to her I found that her two wings were different colors, one white as the brightest of clouds in the sky and one black as the ragged edges of hell. They were damaged very badly, for I could see the ripped skin off of the black colored wing.
"Strange to find an angel. A fallen angel now, I guess, but with a white colored wing... this is a break through."
I bent down and checked her pulse. She was alive, but barely as her chest rose weakly up and down. I bent my eyebrows down in question. Should I help this girl or leave her here? Judging by her face she was crying, maybe thrown down from Heaven and stripped from immortality. She must have done something very serious for an angel of knights to be stripped from it.
An evil smile dragged across my face. "Maybe she can be of use. One angel as part of a demon would make my life easier for the young master to stop calling me on every need he needs."
I picked her up gently and let her head rest on my chest. Looking closer at her bloody face, she was quite beautiful. How funny to see a beautiful angel thrown down to Earth and I instead of a human find her? Finny was outside as I called him, his green forest eyes widening at the bloody girl. I tucked her wings inside her soul before handing her over. "What happened?"
"I don't know. Take her to the infirmary as I'll inform young master about this."
"Yes sir."
Finny took the girl away as I took my time walking up the stairs and knocking on young master's bedroom door.
"What is it?" The young rash voice spoke out.
"I have found the source of the smoke and it was an angel."
"Come in and tell me everything."

The young master sipped his Earl Gray with a high chin. He had his one eye closed in thought. "So never has your life as a demon have you found an angel with two different colored wings?"
"No, my Lord. I believe her aura is shaping into a demon. I don't know how it is happening or how her body is accepting the change."
"I'll have her stay here as a maid until I know what to do with her. See fit she will heal."
"Yes, my Lord."
I blew out the candle and closed the door behind me. The Infirmary was downstairs as Finny told me that May-Rin bandaged her up as best as she could, but the girl would need a doctor.
I made a mental note about it as I opened the door to the room. The white sheets were stained with her blood as she laid there peacefully sleeping away. The click of my heels were the loudest thing in the room as I turned her over slightly enough to see her back.
To my surprise, the sockets where the wings released were perfectly fine. Though they were bloody they looked as if they weren't ever burned, maybe her powers were slowly healing her wings. Her skin felt smooth and soft as I looked up and down for her pressure point. I found it and her wings weakly came out.
The girl groaned in pain, her eyes glossy with confusion as they landed on me.

'Where the hell am I....? I thought I died... embraced the sweet arms of death.' The figure in front of me was blurry, but soon evened out... it was a man.
He was deadly handsome for a human along with those deep hellish, scarlet eyes of his. He was dressed all in black with fancy attire. He must be a well-kept butler to have expensive clothing.
I tensed when I felt his hand on my preshure point and slapped his hand away. "Who the hell are you?! Touching a woman!"
The man gave me a frown. "I saved your life and now you're being rude about it. Maybe I should have left you back there."
"Good. I wanted to die anyways..."
"Oh, that is unusual. What would make an angel want to die?"
I hardened my gaze at him and snarled. "It is none of your damn business."
Suddenly, he grabbed my chin as his face was close to mine. "You must have a demon inside you. Your left eye is glowing violet."
"What?!"
I pushed him away and looked for a mirror. I almost dropped it from horror. My once beautiful (e/c) left eye was now slit like a cat's eye along with a nice tone of violet.
"H-how... why... I'm an angel... not a demon."
"I have a theory you created your own demon inside you. From all the hate and rage you had before you almost died. Your left wing is also black like mine, only yours is like a fallen angel."
"I can't be... I'm (y/n) (y/l)... a knight to the royal family... my family served them for generations... I've brought shame on my family's name..."
"Yes, yes. Family honor, what a big deal."
Bursts of rage surged threw me as I felt my mouth grow fangs, baring them at the man. "Watch it demon! I might be this half breed, but I can still kick your ass!"
"I would love to see you try with those broken wings of yours. I suggest to take a good rest and let your wings heal."
"Why should I listen to you?"
His eyes turned the same shape as my left eye, making a shiver go down my back. "Because I can end your life right here if I wanted to. You should be grateful at this chance. I'm giving you along with the master of this mansion. You'll be resting for a week and working as a maid until he decides what to do with you. Until then, be grateful."
"...... Fine."
"Glad you agree." He gave me a smile which I knew was fake and left the room.
I sighed and rested my head between my knees. "What the hell have I gotten myself into?"
