Heinry and Ezra were lost into each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity, suddenly they heard a sound. Both of them broke the eye contact to witness that a huge porcelain vase near the window had crashed into tiny peices.

Heinry got off the bed and so did Ezra. Cautiously, Heinry moved forward towards the window, shielding Ezra. As he was approaching the window, he saw a shadow. He became more alert and told: "Ezra, leave the room right now and go call Cain for me."

Ezra contemplated on weather to leave him alone in the face of danger or stay with him. While she was thinking Heinry yelled in a stern voice: "Dont think too much Ezra, go right now!"

Ezra gulped and sped out of the room. She was dashing through the hallways when she realized that she didn't knew where to find Cain. She started panicking but did not stopped her feet. She suddenly bumped into someome.

???: "Oh miss! Watch where you are going." A raspy yet seductively sweet voice reached Ezra's ears. She looked up to see a man. He was wearing a small crown on his head. His eyes were brown and skin as fair as milk. He scanned Ezra from head to toe and spoke giddily: "Ah! you are the same girl we saved from the shore, why are you running?" He asked then suddenly covered his mouth in astonishment "dont tell me you are running away from here, not after you owe us for saving you."

Ezra was panting heavily from all the running she did. She took in few breaths and spoke: "There's an intruder, Heinry asked me to call Cain but I dont know where to find him."

He held Ezra's wrist and dashed inside the room Heinry was in. He then drew his dagger out swinging it in the air and questioned: "Where is the intruder?"

Heinry holding a piece of cloth in his hand answered: "Alexandro! Why are you here? And there was no intruder, it was only a piece of cloth, the vase clashed probably because of wind.

Alexandro: "I was here to discuss the situation about pirates. I ran into the lady on the way here when she reported to me about the intruder. Gratefully there is no such thing."

It was at this moment, Heinry noticed that Alexandro was holding Ezra's wrist. Alexandro realizing how Heinry's eyes were fixed on his hand. He jerked Ezra's hand off. He raised both his arms surrendering and spoke incredulously: "Man, I am not stealing your woman. Please take those hawk like eyes off my wrist."

Heinry ignored him and told Ezra to stay in the room. Heinry spoke calmly: "Be careful, watch your surroundings and keep the windows closed. If there is any problem just ring the bell from inside and we will be here." With that both Heinry and Alexandro left.

After the door was closed, Ezra went near the window to close it just then a man jumped in from there. Ezra tried to not loose her calm. She moved backward while the man moved in her direction. The bell was quite far away from her. Ezra's eyes were fixated on the bell. The man realized and with one leap snatched the bell and threw it out from the window.

He was dressed in black robes from head to toe. He was tall and had slender figure. His face was covered and only his eyes were visible that's when she realized who he was.

Ezra: Aq!?

Aq: "Yes Miss!"

As soon as he answered Ezra felt relieved. She asked being surprised at Aq's sudden appearance: "Aq! Why are you here?"

Aq: "I am on a mission ordered by the Master."

Ezra's eyebrows perked up with curiosity and she inquired: "What mission?".

Aq: "I am sorry miss I am not allowed to tell anyone about it."

Ezra rolled her eyes and replied: "Whatever, none of my concerns."

Aq: "Miss I am here to warn you, these people are not what you think they are. Reality is harsher than what we expect. I'll always be your sword miss, but remember at the most crucial moment I might turn into your biggest enemy."

He sat down on one knee, kissed Ezra's hand and left through the window again.

Ezra was baffled by his words. Suddenly, she heard a knock and then Heinry entered. He asked with concern reflecting all over his majestic face: "Was someone in here? I heard someone talking?."

Ezra nodded her head in disagreement and said: "No! I was just talking to myself." Heinry unwillingly nodded his head and hummed a response in agreement.

Soon Cain barged inside the room and said dramatically: "Master! You are such a kid still throwing tantrums over some filthy cloth." He turned towards Ezra with pleading eyes and said: "Miss dont ever marry this man. He looks like a harmless hen but is actually a fierce wolf."

Cain kept blabbering but Ezra's mind was clouded by Aq's words. She was determined but at the same time afraid. Afraid of hurting her own blood and flesh.

Ezra was getting irritated by the silly banter between Heinry and Cain. So she asked them to leave her room. As she closed the door, she crouched and sat on the floor, while her head rested on her palms, completely immersed in her thoughts.

On the other hand Heinry went to his office to continue his pending work. To his dismay he wasn't able to concentrate. So he rested his head on the desk and closed his eyes. His eyelids became heavier and he went into a deep slumber.
