Mia POV: (Haven't done her for a long time plus had a major writer block but broken it)

Looking around in the woods, the only thing that I could find are just bushes but berries, Grayson would love to get these. Of course Drake told me that he always get berries when they are adventuring around, well trying to find the Magical Library. Saying that place made me remembered the battle in there, Drake got knocked out, Grayson fighting Him trying to protect us but that got his sword destroyed. And me almost died from choking, but after that, Armen got in control and stopped Him from killing us, from that I could see that he was in pain and couldn't take it no more.

He wanted this to be over, he want to be free, but the only thing he got was just torture, seeing everything getting destroyed and killed from his own hands. I don't know why but I feel like I felt the same way, feeling all the pain and getting tortured by that fricken Emperor. I really wish he was dead.

"Hm, looks like you wanted the Emperor to be gone, don't you..."

I jumped, I looked around but there's nothing I could see, I just stood there in confusion.

"Up here..."

I looked up, well in the tree, again couldn't see anyone, but I just saw a shadow some sorts, I took a step back and was about to grab my sword.

"There's no need to fight. I already tired of this."

"W-who are you?"

"Why care, once I try to kill someone that the Emperor told me to, I'll be dead, just because I betrayed him and got his Wife and Son killed..."

"The Emperor Assassin, why are you even here, aren't you supposed to kill me or capture me like right now!?"

"Not gonna do that..."

I don't get it, why wouldn't he do that, is it because of how Grayson hates him and not forgiven him, also all the hybrids getting captured or either killed. Either that I know that the Emperor is a heartless person and would do anything just to get power and even getting the Dragon egg back.

"The only thing I have to do is to kill Grayson and that's it, even getting the Dragon egg back."

"But don't you know what will it happen if that Emperor has his ugly hands on it, right now he has mages and sorcerers and he will tell them to hatch the egg and use the Dragon to destroy Badlands even the entire world."

"......"

"Ugh, whatever, also you should know that the others are there, you won't able to handle and fight back by yourself."

I started walking away and heading back to Veridian, not even looking back but that sentence made me stop.

"All I just wanted to say is sorry to him."

I turned around and looked at the assassin, he jumped down from the tree which I could see he is wearing an assassin cloth, also wearing his mask that cover his mouth, "You felt guilty when you betrayed him, didn't you."

He nodded slowly,"I didn't meant that to happen, I didn't meant to get his family killed, and plus is not even Grayson fault that got his family killed. That stupid egg made him do that, also it corrupted the Emperor, right now he is even more violent than like 2 or 3 years ago. Part of me wanted me to kill Grayson to end everything but my other side is to apologize to him for what I have done."

"......."

"*sigh* Again guilt and sadness took over me..."

"Maybe you aren't bad, it's probably the best if you apologize to him."

"I hope I don't kill him..."

But then screams rang out, I look and saw a bunch of birds flew out from the direction, I decided toward that direction, I looked behind me but the Assassin just disappear. I shrugged and ran to that direction, I don't know what's going on anymore, I started to hear a female sound but that voice belongs to Sumalinara. I wonder why she is doing out here in the woods, I caught a glimpse at her, I hid behind the tree, trying to see what going on.

There is another person there, but what made my eyes widen was to see a person holding a bloody sword also a corpse right next to them.

Drake POV:

"Aargghh! My head!"

"Drake are you alright?!"

"Yes. No. I don't know, Tiger. It feels like my head is splitting apart."

I rubbed my head from that painful headache, this is getting annoying, the one thing I haven't notice is that Tiger hasn't got a headache which she is lucky. Of course me as always, always the unlucky one and the worst protector.

I jumped and looked around, somehow I am getting the chills, He never does that when we were finding the Magical Library. The others are look at me weird,"Drake are you okay?"

"Y-yea I'm alright."

"I'm turning insane, am I..."

We continue heading back to the village, we finally got all the materials that we need and also to repair Grayson's swords, it didn't took that long to collect. As we got to the village, we could see Natalie and Red sitting and talking but then a scream just happened, a bunch of birds went flying.  Probably a Nightmares, the other two went to us and look at the direction where the birds flew off, "What's going on?" Red question it.

I shrugged."I don't know, we just came and then we heard a scream."

"GUYS!"

I turned and saw Mia running towards us, "Guys you need to come with me now! It's Cody, he is with Suma."

"Wait what happen?!" Natalie replied.

"Something terrible happen..."

"Natalie, Tiger, Grayson, and I will come, Ava and Red will stay here."

We left the stuff at the Inn, Ava and Red is keeping the Dragon egg safe, we left running and followed Mia to Suma and Cody, I get the feeling that something terribly happen, and kept thinking its Him who is doing all this destruction.

(Finally I'm done! *Falls backwards and fell asleep.)
