So vital to life that every living thing on earth must have it in some form

Filling enormous areas of the earth's surface

Found in almost everything

It exists in the hottest, driest areas on earth... the deserts

Falls from the sky in many different forms

It is in the air that we breathe

It can be gaseous vapors rising to the heavens

Sometimes solid and rock hard

Sometimes liquid and flowing

We think of it as something wet
