~Story~

Born in Osaka, alongside his older sister Kanako, Hideo Urai had made a career of being free spirit, kind, and always protective of his family.

Hideo was also very charitable as his older sister would speak on it in an interview:

"Hideo is so very sweet and just a good person and he would take his jacket off for anyone. For those that think otherwise, f**k you, he would really do it."

Watching wrestling at a very young age had gotten Hideo inspired by one of the greatest Japanese wrestlers of all time, The Great Muta. Entranced by how Muta would perform, Urai would start acting like him and would try to spit "red mist" into his older sister's face whenever he could, getting a laugh out of her.

Soon enough, Hideo would get the opportunity to train at a local wrestling school, ran by Muta himself.

Impressed by the young man by his work ethic and the hunger to learn more about the industry, Muta offered to personally train him and give him his blessing to keep the Great Muta gimmick going.

For a couple of years, Hideo would get a taste of inside the ring, showing off his talent and charisma. Although he was a jobber at first, the fans got behind him soon after his squash match.

Feeling motivated to keep going, Hideo would adopt the gimmick, "The Emperor", similar to Great Muta, but much more crafty and cunning than everyone thought. Adopting the green mist, Urai would become one of the most dangerous wrestlers in the entire world, showing that he can be a wrestler.

Keiji backed Hideo up in recent interviews, saying that he approved Hideo's gimmick and actually called out trolls who say it's a ripoff of Great Muta.

Offering to be a tag partner with Hideo, the two would win the GHC World Tag Team Championships and three different occasions before Hideo turned on Keiji, turning into one of the greatest rivalries of the 2010s, Mutoh putting Urai over in their third and final match together.

Moving on, Hideo would win the AJPW Triple Crown Championship four times in All Japan. Winning the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on four different occasions as a member of Suzuki-Gun.

Feeling the urge to try his luck, Hideo would show up in Ring of Honor, confronting Jay Lethal for his heeling antics. The showdown wouldn't go well, resulting in Lethal slapping Urai before getting green mist in his eyes and face.

The two of them would trade the ROH Championship back and fourth, Hideo winning the title two times and Lethal winning the title back two times, resulting in the two clashing at ROH: G1 Supercard where Lethal had help with Jonathan Gresham and Muta showing up to help his protege, who would win the Championship a third time, ending the feud for good.

After some time in the indie scene, Hideo finally joined NXT in July of 2019, showing up to dismantle a jobber in the form of Kona Reeves before dominating the roster before reuniting with an old friend named Masami Odate, best known as Io Shirai.

The two would become friends again and would eventually get together, but somehow, Hideo had been accused of cheating on her the night of his then girlfriend winning the NXT Women's Championship from Charlotte Flair at NXT Takeover: In Your House, weeks after the pandemic began.

Eventually the two would break up, but after the breakup, when they had to work together, they would put their differences aside and try to make the most of the situation.

At Takeover: XXX, Hideo would win the NXT Championship from Keith Lee before dropping it to Finn Balor, where the two would have a very intense rivalry before Hideo would win the rivalry by taking the NXT Championship again before losing it to Karrion Kross at Takeover: Stand And Deliver.

Unfortunately, the losses continued to mount up as Hideo was one of the following talent released from WWE due to the most popular reason of "budget cuts", as he was one of the most popular wrestlers on the NXT roster.

Masami reached out to him, saying that she didn't expect it to happen and apologized for the accusations brought up against him. Hideo would surprisingly respond by forgiving her and if he were to return to the company, they'd like to hash out the situation and try to find some common ground.

Hideo would eventually return to his home country of Japan, working for Pro Wrestling NOAH, not winning any Championships because of personal reasons: he wants to return to WWE and try to make a difference.

Well, that difference finally came as Vince McMahon retired from his position as Chairman and HHH stepped up and started bringing back released talent, one of whom was Hideo, who accepted the offer under one condition: his sister Kana would be in trouble with Bayley, Masami, and Cheree as she would be tied up, and Seth Rollins getting involved.

Hunter accepted and made it happen as Hideo finally made a shocking return to WWE, on Raw, saving his older sister from a beatdown.

Masami, Kana, and Hideo would get together backstage, but Masami and Hideo would finally get some time to themselves hashing out what happened in NXT, the night when she won the NXT Women's Title, and try to be friends again.

Soon enough, they became friends again, but Masami would start to regain her feelings for Hideo. Does he feel the same?

Kana was tied up in a chair as Bayley was about to take a kendo stick and whack her on the head as Seth was in the corner, laughing as the psychopath he is.

As Bayley was going to swing on my sister's head, the lights went out.

Cole: What the? Who let the lights out?

Graves: I don't know! We could be suffering a power outage!

Saxton: We could be in a bad area!

Graves: For once, Saxton, you could be right!

Once the screen showed this...

Cole: What is this?

My name came up, down the screen...

Saxton: What?!

The crowd popped so loud that I saw Masami tearing up with her mouth agape, covering it with her hands as my theme played, and Kana was screaming in so much excitement and she looked like she wanted to cry!

Graves: Ooooooh noooooo!

Cole: It can't be! Is he really here?!

Oh I'm here, alright.

At the 22 second mark, I entered onto the stage in my gear, fingers trembling with a glare underneath my hood and an evil smile, making the fans pop a second time.

Cole: THE EMPEROR! HIDEO URAI!

Graves: We haven't seen The Emperor since last year in NXT!

Saxton: Bayley just pissed off the wrong person, and that is Hideo Urai!

I walked down with evil intent as I stared down Bayley, who was shaking her head "no" while saying it in utter fear and Seth was looking at me, frozen with terror, not knowing what to do.

As I was at the end of the ramp, at the 50 second mark, I took my hood off to reveal my face, making the crowd go insane when they saw it.

I untied my kimono jacket, dropped it behind me as I walked up the steel steps, grabbing one of the ropes, and then quickly entered the ring, standing off with Bayley and Seth as they stepped aside, assuming that I would turn on my own sister as I walked towards Kana, who was hoping I wouldn't.

After staring at my sister with evil intent for a few seconds, I turned around, and pointed at Seth and Bayley as the crowd went insane!

Cole: Bayley, Seth, you just crossed the line with Asuka's little brother!

Seth looked to kick me and take me down but with quick thinking, I grabbed his leg and performed my signature Dragon Screw!

Bayley then got into my face who was pissed at what I've done, but I smiled with cockiness at what she was saying...

Bayley: You idiot! You ruined everything! This was supposed to be my night! MY NIGHT! You have no right to do this to me!

Kana was free from the rope and looked to kill her, but as Bayley backed up, she bumped into Kana, who smiled with evil intentions.

Bayley turned around with terror as Dakota Kai and Masami knew they shouldn't do anything to piss us off, but I have a treat for Bayley.

As she turned back around to me, I spat poison mist into Bayley's face!

Cole: The Mist! The Red Mist! Right into the eyes of Bayley!

Bayley was just screaming in agony and pain as she tried to rub her eyes out from the mist, but it's making the pain much worse!

Kana locked in the Asuka-Lock on Bayley as I went in the corner, pointing at what's happening!

When Bayley tapped out, I did the throat slit with my thumb and a closed fist as the bell rang.

Feeling so happy that I'm here, Kana immediately let go of Bayley and hugged me as tight as she can go, almost to the point of crying as I had to do the same!
