Nicknames: Well, he goes by Kishinuma basically everywhere, but he can also be called Taro if you really want to push it. He will be referred to as Kishinuma here. Because yeah.

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Pansexual, but no one knows

Personality: Kishinuma isn't someone you would normally see interacting with other people. He prefers to sit and watch, minding his own business. If you approach him, he's not going to just... tell you leave and be all rude, but he isn't going to become all buddy buddy with you. He's a fairly closed off person, something that shouldn't be all too surprising considering how he's lived for most of his life. We'll get into that later, but a vague description would be: away from other kids and with very little contact with anyone but his parents. He's a bookworm and probably (definitely) a phone addict, which are just two of the things he does while avoiding everyone else. He's quite interested in occult stuff, even though his dad warns him away from it as much as possible. You'd think he'd be considered pretty smart and a good kid but he isn't. He looks into very niche things intentionally and doesn't really care about what would be... useful? Oh but also he's super curious. He wants to learn a lot. It's part of the reason he reads and surfs the internet so much. But typically all the popular stuff bores him and the random crap he finds on the deep web interests him.

Likes: Kishinuma likes learning new things. He's a naturally curious person and just generally likes finding new stuff. He also likes the internet, books, sleeping, fire, and spicy food.

Dislikes: Kishinuma doesn't like being bothered. Like... who said he wanted to talk to you? But he isn't going to be rude about it, don't worry. He doesn't particularly like his home situation either, and it isn't that he hates his parents, it's just... not what he wants. He also doesn't like most fruits. Or breakfast foods.

Skills/Hobbies: He's good at researching and finding random information. Also reading fast. Also he likes camping, as long as he has data for his phone and a few good books. He doesn't actually have much else aside from that. Except for like... doing random occult stuff.

Strengths: Kishinuma is good at remembering things and memorizing information. He's decent at sneaking around weirdly enough, cause he's a naturally quiet person or something (but also it's useful for going places you're curious about but not actually supposed to go), and also pretending he wants to talk to you. He doesn't actually want to talk to you.

Weaknesses: If too many people keep talking to him without him starting the conversation, he gets way too frustrated. He's not the best team player and tends to either not do any work or take over the situation. Also if you take away his books or internet or phone or whatever he will have a crisis about what to do. It's bad.

Fears: Having the same thing that happened to his parents happen to him. It's a secret of his but he is terrified of going anywhere like Heavenly Host. He's also scared of snakes, don't tell anyone that either, cause they can and will poison you. He really doesn't want to die in any slow way. That's just... a no no. Also he's scared of going somewhere without any access to the internet. Please save this poor kid jsjsj

Parents: Ayumi Shinozaki and Yoshiki Kishinuma

(You have no idea how much I absolutely adore these two. Like seriously. They're the best characters from the whole series)

Relationship with Parents: Well... his dad may not like his interests or hobbies all that much, but they definitely love each other. It's a strained relationship at times, but they definitely have each other's backs. His mom is an interesting case, since she doesn't normally communicate very well with anyone but her husband, but she still loves him. As much as she can in her limited state.

Other Family Members: He has an aunt and grandparents.

Relationship with Other Family Members: He's never met them. He probably never will. It's fine by him.

Powers: Alrighty. Get ready. This kid actually has powers. He's a Shinozaki, so he was guaranteed to get some powers. He's sensitive to anywhere haunted or has anything supernatural attached to it. He could control the Book of Shadows if he went through all the work, he's able to complete occupy rituals easily, and well... he can get possessed pretty easily. Oopsie.

Fight, Flight, or Freeze?: Probably flight, unless it has something to do with one of his occult skill sets. Then he could fight, but that's pretty unlikely, so flight.

Background: Sakutaro is the pretty much the miracle baby of the family. The neighbors never thought the odd couple would ever have a kid, and yet they did. The lady was too quiet, too dependent on the man. The man was devoted only to her, rarely leaving her side. And then... boom. A kid. How odd. That's what his whole life has been. Odd. No one liked him or wanted to interact, they thought he was weird and an outsider. It was always the same in school for him, so he turned to books and the internet and stuff. Because well... he could. He somehow found a bunch of his mom's old occult stuff and that kickstarted that interest right away. But then he got told not to pursue it. But he still did. Cause he's a rebellious child. But yeah, basically he was the weird kid his whole life so he got into weird stuff to really cement that place. Not on purpose, but still.

Other: He was rushed. But I love him. I'm sorry. Also he always carries a backpack full of random stuff. Including lots of books and talismans and snacks. He's hungry a lot. So snacks. So many snacks. Oh and he somehow got named after one of his parents' friends. Only they know that though. Oh and he dyes his hair blonde like his dad did back in his high school days.
