Personality: 

Rylie is the complete opposite of how he looks. He make look like this tough, intimidating, brooding guy, but he's really a teddy bear. He stays silent most of the time, because that's just how he is. He cares for most people, especially G, and will hurt anyone that hurts her. He is very quiet, and hardly talks. This is because he is a little self-conscious about it due to some issues his parents had with him and being very under developed for his age (mentally).

Likes: 

Helping G- Rylie sees G as a mother figure. She has always been there for him, and she was the one who made him happy and feel better about himself. Now, all Rylie wants to do is to help G and make sure she is happy all the time. He is like her personal guard/guard dog who makes sure that the girl is safe at all times.

Protecting his friends- Rylie doesn't have too many friends. The only friends he has are the ones that are part of the gang. He is thankful for them, and will do everything in his power to make sure that they are safe from harms way. That mind set earned him the title "Guard Dog" in the group, as he makes sure that everyone is safe.

Making people happy- Rylie could never understand why his parents were always mad at him. He didn't understand that it was because he was mentally different from everyone, and his parents weren't able to handle it. When he saw G smile at him for the first time (because he knocked out a guy who was harassing her) he fell in love with just seeing a smile and someone that was happy with what he did. From that moment on, he did whatever was needed of him to make sure that he can always see a smile on someone's face, and hear a positive reinforcement 

Dislikes: 

Being alone- Rylie had been alone a lot growing up. He didn't have too many friends when he was younger which followed him as he got older. When he finally made his first friends, Rylie wanted to be by their sides all the time. He fears the idea of being alone, and doesn't ever want to go back to being alone and feeling abandoned.

Having talk to people- Rylie somewhat knows how to talk. He has heard everyone in his gang talk as well. He hates the way he sounds, because he doesn't sound like the others. Many times he has heard from G and Xavier, that it's because he is special and there's nothing wrong with that. Rylie, however, sees something wrong with that and so he refuses to talk. It's a rare occurrence when the boy does talk.

His parents- From being with the gang (mainly G and Xavier) he has learned how he should be treated. Rylie saw a difference between G and Xavier's treatment to him, and how it contrasted against the way his parents treated him. Having that in his head, Rylie refuses to contact his parents, and he never wants to see them again. He would rather die than see them again.

Background: 

When Rylie was born, he looked like a normal baby, despite being a tad larger for his age. However as he got older, he was always behind and slow for certain things. This made his parents frustrated and upset as he grew older. They had had enough of it when Rylie was 17, and by then G had befriended this boy. The girl made him her official protector as she gathered more people to create the gang they needed.
