I shook my head, clearing my thoughts. However, they came back the next second.

I could have saved her.

"No! Anna!" My struggles grew in intensity as me and Anna spread farther and farther apart.

"Shut up!" One guard smacked me. "You little b!tch. She has her own person to see." He smirked. "Someone else wants to see you."

I glared at him. "You b@st@rd."

He slapped me again, "Don't you dare speak to your superiors like that again!" Spittle flew from his mouth onto my cheek, and due to my hands being tied behind my back, I couldn't wipe it away.
