After hours and hours of turning in her own comfy bed, Nova gave up of trying to go to sleep. It was useless.

Nova sighed out loud, minutes went by as she was still staring at her beautiful art covered ceiling.

Since they moved in she claimed this room to be hers the second she saw the ceiling. It showed Artemis, the goddess of the wilderness, the hunt and wild animals, and fertility, with her bow and arrow aiming at something. The goddess was standing in the wilderness with the animals at her side.

Even though it was just art, it was still telling a story of an ancient greek goddess that Nova loved since she was a child. She was wild and free, but still was the helpers of midwives as the goddess of birth.

Nova breathed through her nostrils while slamming her red velvet bedsheets to her side revealing her silky red top and bottom pyjama she was wearing.

As Nova walked down the staircase she noticed something. Something felt different but she couldn't tell why.

The kitchen felt colder, more stranger, as if it wasn't lived in. When she stepped a foot into the kitchen she felt angry and scared at the same time. Her anxiety kicked in and she started to breath faster and faster, as if someone was kicking the air out of her.

"Why won't you let me in?", a disembodied voice asked broken down.

"What? Who said that?", Nova muttered confused and looked around for the body that the voice came from, but didn't found any.

But instead she found Alice, Finn and Amal in the hallway, suspiciously standing with their back to her in a row.

"Mom?", Nova softly tried to wake them up from the trance they were in.

Nova took a step forward forcefully, not thinking about any consequences it would bring with it. Why would her family have bad intentions towards her, right?

Just when Nova laid her hand on Alice's shoulder, she turned around revealing her blue eyes that would normally be green-greyish.

"Why won't you let me in, Nova?", the same voice asked her again but this time it came out of Alice, her facial expression were blank as if she was a doll and someone was controlling her.

Still in shock, Nova took a few steps back and tried her best to find a way out, even though she was in a different state of mind.

"Let me help you", The voice jumped into Finn's body and turned him around to face her with the same blue eyes that Alice had.

"We could be a powerful team", it said while coming out of Amal's body this time, just like Finn's and Alice's eyes, her eyes were crystal blue too.

"N-no, get away from me", Nova screamed at them, if it was still them, and ran upstairs into her room.

Faster than a vampire she closed her door and locked it, just like her windows to make it impossible to come in or out.

Nova tried to think straight, but something was off, beside whatever that was downstairs.

It was silent in her room, the only things that could be heard are her breathing, the branches clapping against her window and the wood under her feet creaking.

Her heart was racing faster than ever, her hands were trembling like a cartoon chihuahua. Her eyes were anxiously moving around her room fast, afraid to find them in front of herself.

Why was it happening to her? Did someone curse her? Who would do that to her?

Questions over questions were stacked over each other. And before she could start to dig down deeper into her questions, the voice appeared again, but this time it appeared into someone else.

Two people to be exact.

Scott and Derek.

Nova was frozen, she couldn't do anything or react the right way. She couldn't use her powers or magic. Nova was useless. The only thing she could do was staring into those blue eyes.

"You have to let me in, Nova, I can help you", the ghostly voice said through Scott's body, but jumped into Derek's body immediately to continue to convince Nova to trust them.

"I can help you seek revenge, it will be so much fun", it said and took some steps forward, but Nova took some steps backwards but met her wall after two steps.

Nova screamed the life out of herself and closed her eyes. Instead of feeling the presence of the possessed body of Derek and Scott, Nova felt a hand pulling her away from there and rushing them both to somewhere else.

Nova finally opened her eyes midway running and was confused. She wasn't in her room anymore, she was at school.

"What?", she whispered to herself confused.

"We have to be quiet or they will find us", a voice whispered to Nova.

"Who?", Nova asked the person, which she could still not recognize.

Does she even know the person?

"You can't let them in, understood?"

Everyone who lived in the Everson-Mikaelson mansion was woken up by a frightening scream from the third floor, Nova's and Amal's floor.

The first one who was at Nova's side was Finn, right when he heard the scream he speeded over to her room, where he found a thrashing and kicking Nova. Her bedsheets were already on the floor, waiting until they would be picked up by someone, but at the moment no one thought about picking them up.

Finn tried to get an overview of the situation, the good thing is no one tried to break in, no one is dead or being attacked.

Nova was only having a bad dream, a nightmare, that's it. That's what Finn thought.

"Nova, sweetheart, you're having a nightmare, it's only a nightmare", Finn whispered to her, while shaking her awake.

While Finn was busy waking up Nova, the others finally arrived to the events. Alice took her place on the right side beside Nova since Finn occupied the left side.

Amal and Derek watched helplessly the married couple trying to calm Nova down. Both of them were worried for their sister since they saw her as their family member than as a friend.

Derek wanted to help her so badly but something inside him made him remember how he felt back then when he had a nightmare. He didn't took it well when too many people were hovering above him and he knew that would be Nova's reaction too.

"It's just a dream pumpkin", Alice whispered to her worried about her daughter's state.

"Dad!", Nova screamed as she jolted up from her nightmare.

"I'm here, Nova, I'm with you, nothing's going to happen to you, I've got you", Finn whispered soothing words to her, just like Alice, while he hugged her protectively as he always did.

Nova nodded happily half asleep as she made herself comfortable in Finn's arms, falling back into a deep sleep.

"What happened?", Derek asked Alice an hour later after he brought Amal back to her room and waited until she fell asleep.

"I don't know, it was probably just a nightmare", Alice answered, still not looking up from her mug filled with hot chocolate mixed with some B grouped blood.

Alice didn't even convinced herself with the answer she gave to Derek.

Derek sighed frustrated," yeah probably".

At the beginning of civil twilight, just after sunset, the colors of the sky changed again, like everyday at this time around. Clouds in the west are illuminated by orange-red sunlight, while the ones in the east remain in blue and indigo.

Today was different than the other mornings, Nova felt calm and at peace. The soft sun lights that were shining in were reduced by Nova's curtains, making it easier for her to watch the sunrise.

With her eyes glued to the masterpiece mother nature created, she smelled the hot chocolate that was in her hand, it was still hot since Nova could watch the small curls of steam rise up into the air.

Just when Nova was about to take a sip, she heard Derek whose still asleep shuffle in her bed.

After she had her nightmare he refused  to leave her and stayed by her side.

Nova heard Amal's delicate voice humming the melody to La Vie En Rose as it came closer and closer.

She knew her best friend and sister would appear in any second so she already looked her way. And like Nova guessed it, Amal slowly and softly opened the door into Nova's room, just so she wouldn't wake up Derek.

Her face was lit up and her happiness and excitement could be seen hundred miles away.

"You finished up your dress?", Nova asked softly with a smile playing on her lips.

"Yes, in time. I did it all by myself", Amal proudly told her and stretched out her arm to invite her to come along.

"Mom tried to help once or twice but I denied, I wanted to create a dress all by myself", she expanded her answer while walking into her room.

Just like a cat, Nova put down her mug and followed Amal without making a noise. As the two girls arrived in tiptoes at Amal's room, Nova's jaw dropped.

The dark green dress was kept simple by Amal, there were no jewelry or pearls on it. She wanted it to be pure fabric.

"It looks like out of a fairytale", Nova gasped astonished, with small steps she walked over to the dress, memorizing every part of the beautiful dark green dress.

"I took inspiration by poison ivy", Amal mentioned her inspiration while watching her best friend and sister, still taking in the beauty of the dress she made all by herself.

"But then I thought poison ivy has red hair, just like you. And her color is, besides green, red, what is also your color", Amal started to tell Nova her second surprise nervously.

Confused, Nova turned around and tried to put the patterns together.

"Amal!"

"I know you already have a dress but I still wanted to make you one. At first I wanted to draw a dress for you nothing more, but it would've looked so good on you, so I started to make it without you knowing about it and now it's finished", Amal kept on talking like a waterfall until Nova interrupted her.

"Amal", Nova said her name out loud to stop her from talking on and on.

"I would wear a garbage bag for you, so yes of course I'm gonna wear whatever you made for me, I gotta support my sister".

Amal sighed happily and made her way to the second dress she made.
