THIRD PERSON'S POV

ZAC's wolf was very angry with how Sylaq treated Ariella. As Sylaq was about to go after Ariella, he immediately bit Sylaq's left foot causing him to pass out.

Vampires are definitely stronger than werewolves but a werewolf's bite can kill a vampire. Zac didn't regret what he did cause he still hates Sylaq Steel for killing his mate.

The royal soldiers immediately surrounded Zac and chained him with pure silver causing Zac to groan in extreme pain. "Argh!!!"

"How dare you attack your prince? You'll be killed as punishment!" One of the royal soldiers growled.

"I'm not scared of death so you might as well just take my life right here, right now," Zac Tyger stated with much confidence.

             "Take him to the dungeon immediately," Adrian, the head of the soldiers commanded and they immediately obeyed him.

Adrian swiftly carried Sylaq who was still unconscious and bleeding heavily to Astrid, his wife, the royal doctor.

The news of Sylaq's condition had reached the royal family so they all gathered in the royal hospital. The Queen, the King, Nathan, Bella, the royal doctor, and the dying Sylaq were all present in a huge room painted purple. There were more than enough chairs for everyone to sit on. Sylaq was placed on a wide and comfortable bed. Queen Catherine and Nathan were sitting beside him while the king was close to them but not too close. The royal doctor who's wearing a white and black gown tried to stop the bleeding.

             "Not my Sylaq," Queen Catherine sobbed as she touched Sylaq's forehead.

             "He will survive the bite," King Damian positively hoped.

            "How? This is a werewolf's bite," Bella who was sitting on a chair at the end corner of the huge room pointed out.

"He has royal blood in him and so he has a higher chance of surviving," Astrid, the brown-haired royal doctor said firmly as she placed her hand on Sylaq's injury.

                 "I'm not gonna lose my brother right?" Nathan asked while shivering.

                     "Stop whining like a sissy," Bella growled.

                "Your presence seems to be worsening the situation around here so get out," Queen Catherine commanded, clasping her hands. She continued, "Take that as an order from your Queen."

Bella immediately left the room but she felt shocked when her father didn't defend her.

He must be stressed out because of Sylaq. Sylaq just likes to gain attention. I really hope he doesn't make it. But even if he survives, his days are numbered. He has no idea what's coming for him. Bella thought to herself.

           "Zac will die for this!"  King Damian snarled. 

          "You brought him here right?" Queen Catherine asked him causing him to feel guilty.

Astrid cleared her throat and said, "Your royal highnesses, I'm afraid that I'm incapable of saving him. This is beyond my expertise and I'm not sure that any other vampire doctor will be able to save him."

              "Dam it Astrid!, I can't lose my son!" The worried King shouted.

               "Brother, believe me, I'm doing everything to save the prince, my nephew but there's only little that  I can do,"

                "If you weren't my sister, I'd kill you for your incapability as a vampire doctor," the King snarled while revealing his sharp fangs to Astrid. 

Astrid shrugged cause she knew that her brother would never harm her. Though he could be intimidating, he wouldn't physically hurt her.

             "Jade!" Queen Catherine screamed as she got up.  "She's a very powerful witch so I'm sure she'll be able to save our boy."

              "We can get any other witch but not Jade. You know....," then he was cut off by Queen Catherine.

               "Yeah, you banished her but right now we need her to save our son, the prince and future king of Mount Evie," Queen Catherine filled in.

Nathan who had been holding Sylaq's left arm said, "Father, we can't place Sylaq's life in any witch's hand so Aunt Jade is perfect to rescue Sylaq."

              "Have you forgotten that she almost killed your sister?" The King growled, staring at Nathan.

             "An accusation that you didn't even give Jade a chance to prove her innocence. Set your ego aside so that we can save our Sylaq," Queen Catherine told him.

The King paced around the room and went to sit beside Sylaq. He noticed that Sylaq's breathing was slowing down and then he said, "Astrid, I'm sure you're capable of getting your younger sister, Jade to come here quickly."

                "Oh brother, I'm definitely capable of getting our sister to come here," Astrid retorted.

               "She stopped being my sister ever since...."

Tyler and Dorothy barged in which made the King stop talking.

            "We just found out now," Tyler gasped.

           "Perfect timing," Astrid was sarcastic.

              "Mom, how's he?" Tyler asked worriedly, looking at Sylaq's injured foot.

          "Jade will save him," Astrid said,  making her way to exit the room.

Dorothy glanced around and noticed something. "Wait, where is his wife? Ariella should be here. Did anyone inform her?"

             "I'll go and get her," Tyler said, turning to leave.

             "Wait, I haven't been introduced to her yet so let me get her," Astrid pointed out but the king gave Astrid a warning glare.

             "Tyler, you go ahead," Astrid shrugged while closing the door.

ARIELLA'S POV

I was super relieved with the fact that the king would take my advice regarding Bella.

I don't understand why Sylaq Steel has been on my mind for a while now. It feels like he is in deep danger but that can't be. Why am I feeling so restless?

Whatever, Sylaq is a vampire so I don't think anything bad can happen to him, and even if he's in danger, I don't give a fuck. After all, he has his mate, Jenny to worry about him.

From now on, I don't give a fuck about Sylaq Steel.

             "Ariella, open the door," Tyler's voice was heard.

I got up from the bed and immediately opened the door for him. From his facial expression, I could tell that something bad happened.

             "Is Sylaq alright?" That was the first question that came to my mind.

               "He is far from being alright. That imbecile, Zac Tyger bit him on his left foot and now he's in the royal hospital cause a werewolf's bite can kill a vampire," Tyler said in a heartbeat.

Hearing that just made me shatter into a thousand pieces of broken glass. I wanted to die knowing that Sylaq's life was in pure danger.

             "I came here to get you," he said.

          "Thank you," I managed to say as we immediately went to the royal hospital.

Did I say that I don't give a fuck about Sylaq Steel?

Yes, I did.

But who am I kidding? I am worried to death just thinking that he might die from this. I don't want to lose him, ever.
