NOAH

As soon as she closed her eyes and fell unconscious, I held her close to my chest and stood up. I ran up the stairs, skipping two steps at a time. I burst into my room. I gently laid her on the bed and quickly went into my bathroom. I filled the bath with hot water. She needs to get warm. As soon as it was filled to the brim. I went back into my room. Mia was awake and shivering like crazy. She had my blanket wrapped around her. 

When she saw me, she outstretched her arms, wanting me to hold her, "I'm s-s-so c-c-cold." She stuttered/

"Ssshhhh, I know love, I know. I'm gonna get you all warmed up." I wrapped her arms around my neck and I lifted her up. She whimpered and buried her face in my neck. Her whole body was ice cold and she was vibrating violently. Her body trying to generate as much warmth as possible. 

When we entered the bathroom, I placed her on the bench. I knew she was naked under the ripped up jersey she was wearing. 

"I can leave it on Mia, if you're not comfortable."

She looked at me and closed her eyes, "C-can I w-w-wear my b-bra a-a-and und-und-underwear."

I nodded, "Of course."

I quickly went into her room and opened her underwear drawer. My eyes widen, "Bloody hell." There was lingerie filling the drawer to the brim. "Shit," I had to admit that it was pretty arousing knowing she wears this stuff under her clothes. I quickly just grabbed some cotton underwear and went back to Mia. I handed them to her. I turned around for her to change. As much as I wanted to see her, I had too much respect to do something like that to Mia. 

"Noah." She whimpered. I turned around and saw she was changed. She was weak and shaking. Her knees started to buckle. I quickly held her close to my chest so than she wouldn't fall. I helped her get into the hot back. She groaned in slight pain when her body was fully submerged. 

"Why does my skin hurt?" She whimpered. 

I was at the end of the bath where her head was. I was right behind her. She had her head on my shoulder and I was using my hands to get as much warm water on her skin as possible. 

"Because of the temperature difference, love. Don't worry, it will subside soon."

I felt her turn her head towards my neck. She took a deep breath and as she exhaled her body relaxed slightly. I couldn't help, but feel pride at how I affect her. After a while, her skin started to turn back to her normal colour, it didn't look like she was dead. Must be a good sign. 

"Hey man, how is she?" Soul walked in. 

I shielded Mia's body from his sight and growled, "Bloody hell Soul! Get the fuck out! For fuck sake!" 

Soul's eyes widen and he raised his arms, "Sorry! Sorry! I didn't know!" And he went out. 

I shook my head and looked down at Mia. Her eyes were closed, but she had a small amused smile on her lips.

I frowned, "What're you smiling about?" I asked.

"Just your reaction. It's just a nice feeling having someone being that protective. I've never had that before."

I felt my eyes soften. I leaned down and kissed her forehead, "I'll always protect you Mia. Even when I'm gone."

She smiled at me, but I could see it didn't reach her eyes. The end is almost near and it was affecting her a lot. 

"You ready to come out now, love?" She nodded her head. I helped her get out of the bath, with her shaking legs. She was still weak. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her out of the bath. She held unto my shoulders while I dried her down. When I was finished I saw her eyes were closed from exhaustion. I placed my hands under her legs and back then lifted her up. We went to my bed. I laid her down under the covers. I took my shirt off and buckled down my jeans, leaving my in my boxers. Heat is generated most when it's skin against skin. I went under the covers and joined Mia. I grabbed her arm and pulled her against my chest tightly. She had her arms tucked into her own chest as she snuggled deeper into me. I wrapped my arms around her tightly and I wrapped my legs slightly over hers. I wanted her to get as warm as possible. I felt her slowly warm up a bit more. 

She looked up at me with her sleepy eyes, "Is Kieth Okay?" She said faintly. 

I nodded my head, "Yeah Mia, he's okay."

She nodded her head, "Good."

After a while, I assumed she was sleep until she whispered very quietly in my ear, "You heard me right? Down stairs? You heard what I said?"

I looked down at her and couldn't help but give a small grin, "Yeah, love, I heard you."

She nodded her head, "Good." Then I heard her breathing even and her body fully relaxed against my own. 

I pressed my lips against her forehead, "I love you Mia."

MIA

I felt myself wake up from the sun hitting my face. 

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in Noah's room. I sat up and I stretched my arms out. I feel good. My heart suddenly stops though when I a distressed and sad looking Solomon sitting on a chair next to the bed. He gulped when I looked at me. 

"Mia...how do you feel?" He asked, 

I frowned at him, "Ummm...good I guess."

He gave me a sad smile and nodded, "Good good."

I sat up straighter, "Solomon, what's going on? What's wrong?"

He closed his eyes and sighed, "I'm so sorry Mia. But I have bad news for you." He opened his eyes and he looked pained. 

I leaned forward. I felt my heart beating against my chest, "Say it Solomon! What's going on?"

"You've been unconscious for three days. Lizzy gave birth...and...Noah got married. He's left...for his new pack."

I felt my heart literally stop. I felt the blood drain from my face. "No, No that can't be right! That's impossible! He can't be gone!" I felt the tears run down my face. 

Solomon came, sat on the bed and pulled me into a hug. I cried into his chest, "No Solomon! It can't be true! He can't be gone!"

He rubbed my back, "Ssshhh, it's okay Mia."

I sobbed into his chest and screamed, "NO!"

"Mia wake up!"

I bolted up from the bed. I looked around the room frantically. It was dark outside. I look to my side and see a topless and concerned Noah. I sighed in relief. I jumped on him and wrapped my arms around his neck, "Thank goodness! It was just a dream." I whispered in relief to myself. It was just a dream. 

I felt Noah wrap his arms around my waist and rub circles on my back, "What's going on, Love?"

"I had a nightmare, more like a prophetic dream probably." I said. I felt the tears slowly run down my face silently. The rolled down and dropped unto Noah's shoulder. He stiffened for a moment, "You cryin?" He asked. 

I didn't say anything. I just stayed still. 

Noah pulled my back and looked at my face. He gently wiped my tears away with his thumb, "Don't cry, love. There is no need for tears. Now tell me...what was your nightmare?" He asked in concern

I looked down at my lap, "You were gone. I woke up and you were already gone and married. And I couldn't say goodbye." I felt a fresh set of tears rolled down my face. 

I look up at Noah, his intense eyes instantly softened. He pulled me towards him. He laid us down and he spooned me tightly from behind. I snuggled closer, wanting to disappear into his chest.

I felt him kiss my neck and whisper, "It was just a nightmare love. I'm right here with you. I'm not anywhere else. You don't have to worry about that."

I nodded my head, but I knew I will soon in the future.

MIA

Apparently a part of my nightmare was true in fact. I have been asleep for three days. My body was probably on a defense healing mechanism to try to reinstate my internal equilibrium. But I didn't get sick or anything which was good. I was just still a little weak.

Noah was off doing some Beta duty with the Alpha about the rogue problem. I was currently in the lounge with Lizzy and Zapora. We were just being lazy.

"Oh my gosh!" Lizzy shouted. 

Both Zapora and I were on high alert. "What! What is it! Is it the baby?" I said urgently. 

She laughed and shook her head, "Of course not! We should go to that salon and have a spa day!"

Zapora and I collapsed back on the couch and sighed in relief, "Gosh you had me worried." Zapora whispered to herself, 

Lizzy was all happy smiled, "So? Do you guys wanna do it?"

I shrugged, "Sure. It's not like I can do anything else."

Zapora agreed. Lizzy lifted her arms and screamed, "yay! Let's go!"

Lizzy groaned in the bed next to me as the lady massaged  her feet, "That's the one. Rrrrright there." She purred. 

I couldn't help, but giggle. She was really enjoying this. We are at a salon. Not in town of course. The pack has one around the outskirts as a wwomanly get away from the testosterone filled village. Obviously Xander sent guards, one of which were Noah. I smiled quietly to myself when he volunteered to be one of the guards. Solomon was the other. One of the two most strongest men in the pack. I felt my heart beat with pride when I thought about Noah. He is so strong and brave. It made me feel so proud of everything he has overcome and will overcome in the future.

Right now, Me Lizzy and Zapora were lying in three different beds all in a row. We all had face masks on. Zapora's was mango mask, Lizzy was coconut and mine was vanilla cinnamon. But Lizzy's one was more funny. 

"I don't know why you had to put the face mask down there." I laughed. 

Zapora took the cucumber from her eyes and looked down, she rolled her eyes, "Oh god. You can be so embarrassing sometimes Lizzy."

But Lizzy didn.'t care. She just giggled and looked down at her big round stomach, "What? I have a person living inside of me right now. He deserves a face mask too!"

I looked at her round stomach that was lathered with the coconut face mask as well as some few cucumbers sitting here and there.

"You're very special Lizzy." I giggled. She just laughed and the lady continued to massage Lizzy. 

"You look like you need a good rub, there." I peeled the cucumber from my face and looked up to see a man standing there, looking down at me and smiling. 

I didn't want to be rude even though I felt slightly uncomfortable, "Ummm...what'd you just ask me?"

"Yea what did you just ask her again? I didn't quite bloody hear it? All I heard was bullshit coming out of that fat yap of yours."

I felt myself tense slightly. I looked to the entrance and saw a fuming Noah. His eyes were a more darker blue, almost black. His nose was flared and his mouth formed a slight snarl. His shoulders were moving up and down from the heavy breathing he was doing. My eyes widen. Not because I was afraid. But because for some reason...I was slightly aroused. Seeing him go all beast mode is quite a turn on for me. 

But my emotions immediatlely switched to worry when the man stepped up to Noah, as if he was sizing him up. I internally cringed. Bad idea man. 

"I said she looked like she needs...a good," he stepped a little closer and said, "Rub."

I could see that Noah was losing control of his lycan. I could feel him going crazy inside, wanting to rip this guy to pieces. I quickly sat up from the bed and tried to wash the mask off. 

"I'm sorry," Noah growled. He took a step closer and said, "I'm going to have to translate that from bullshit to English, mate. You ain't makin no sense. But what I do understand is that you're not going to touch her."

"What is she to you? A mate?" I knew Noah wanted to say yes. But he quickly glanced to me and I shook my head. No one can know. No matter how hard. He snarled at him, and I could see a flicker of fear pass through his eyes, but he quickly recovered it. 

"No," He growled, "I'm her bodyguard because she is the healer that's going to deliver the Luna's pup. And the Alpha said that she is not to be disturbed by any males."

The man smirked, "Why? She get's too distracted when a male is around? Is she that much of a whore? Come on man, just tell me. How much is the girl to have for a night?"

My mouth opened in shock and I gasped. All of the other girls sat up in shock as well. Was he being serious? Or was he joking? I looked at him and saw he was actually serious. He thought I was Noah's bootycall or something. 

Noah's eyes went completely black. He laughed humorlessly. He turned around and shook his head. And then as quick as lighting. Noah spun around and punched the guy straight in the face. Knocking him out instantly. 

Noah cracked his nuckled and stretched his shoulders, "Bloody bastard." I could still he was in raged. As soon I had the last of the mask washed off, I quickly got off the bed and went to Noah. He was looking at the unconscious man like he wanted to kill him. Realistically he probably would have. I went to him and laid both of my hands on his chest, "Noah, Noah, look at me." But his black eyes were trained on the guy. 

"I should kill the motherfu-"

I shook my head, "No. Please don't. Just look at me. Look at me, I'm your mate."

His intense eyes looked down at me and they just stared at me. I could see his light blue eyes slowly returning and his eyes soften more and more with each passing minute, as if the lycan in him was calming down. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to his chest, "You're my mate," I growled softly. But I think it was more like he was saying it to himself. Like he was assuring himself that I was his and no others.

I nod my head. I quickly glance over my shoulder and saw that the other workers weren't around which was good. I returned back to Noah and wrapped my arms around his neck. I went on my tippy toes to try and kiss his cheek, but he was still to much of a giant. I heard his deep and husky chuckle. He leaned down enough for me to peck his cheek, "I'll always be yours Noah."

He lifted me up off the floor and held my tight against his body. Our heads were now leveled. He laid his forehead against mine and took a deep breath, slowing his heart beat down. 

"I love you," He whispered. 

I smiled and said, "I love you too Noah."

"Hey guys!" He lowered my feet onto the ground to stand and we both looked at Lizzy who was holding her stomach. Water was pouring our between her legs. My eyes widen and I gasped. 

She looked at me in pain and said, "My water broke!" She was groaned. 

"The baby's coming." I whispered.
