Hello people, and welcome back to the oneshot book!

Firstly, Hydro, you got me to cave in, well done. I blame you.

Without further ado, let's get into this mess.

Wandering through the alleyway, tapping at her watch, Nya looked around, the midnight darkness surrounding her.

"Jay?? I know you're here!" Her tracking on her watch, stopped pinging. The concern she had for her boyfriend grew by the second.

"Just come out! You have been gone for five days! We have been worried!" The silence echoed around her, only the faint sound of the cars, bustling through the city.

Clash!

Turning around quickly, she located the sound to be of a trash can, a stray black cat climbing out with someone's leftovers that they threw away. However, it gloomed to show how dark the alleyway is, more than she initially thought.

The moonlight however, blacked out for a second, before coming back, and a figure appeared in the alleyway, looking down. A figure she knew all too well.

"Jay?" She called out, attempting to get his attention.

The man lifted his head up, before turning around to see her, and that is when she noticed the changes.

Gone were the colours of yellow and blue, with a tight bit of grey, replaced by a red shirt, black tie, black waistcoat, and the biggest change was his leather trenchcoat that went all the way down to his ankles. Even the badges, the ones she used to love so much, corrupted, with the lightning one gone, and the usual smiley face, replaced by an angry red face instead.

As for his face, it was paler from before, as if he had seen a ghost, as well was wearing sunglasses.

'At night?' Nya wondered.

"Jay?" She took a few steps. Not much frightened the girl, but this was starting to.

He stood, unmoving, before his face contorted into a twisted smile, lost was all that innocence that he had not so long ago.

"Hello Nya.." His voice was horse, and lacked the usual quippyness to his tone. Nya as a result took a few more steps back.

"What have they done to you?!"

He started pacing towards her, taking slow, and heavy steps. A tease? Perhaps?

Maybe toying would be a better word.

"They made me better, stronger, and most importantly...."

Before Nya could register further what happened, She felt Jay holding her from behind, his hot breath landing on her neck.

"Faster..."

As if his attitude was addictive, she liked this new side of Jay.

"But wh-what hap-pened to you?" 'Stuttering? Nya, you never stutter!'

Instead of giving a response, he flashed his teeth at her. They looked relatively normal...

Except the two fangs that had sprouted.

"Vampire... you're a vampire!" She panicked, trying to wiggle out of his grasp. But even to all her effort, it seems Jay's boasting about his strength ringed true, but in the struggle, managed to knock off his sunglasses. Gone were the deep blue pools in his eyes, replaced by a hardened, and blood red stare back into her. She could barely recognise any emotion in his eyes, but she bet hers were as clear as day.

He pulled her in, making her face him directly. Grasping free would be even more of a challenge now that she was at the full force of his grasp.

"Correct." He growled, before closing to her neck.

"And I just happen to be starving."

Nya was helpless to stop Jay biting down into her neck, a feeling of nausea and dizziness flooding over her, as Jay took a bite into her precious lifeforce, and her privacy.

Letting go, Nya started stumbling around, trying to grab something, anything, to grab on to. However, the only thing she could grab, grabbed her back.

"Hey, you okay there?" his features softened, showing genuine concern for her.

"Wh- what?" She slurred out, confused.

"Sorry, I.... change when I am peckish." Through her blurry vision, she could see the faint awkward grin he gave, however it wasn't full.

"What... happened to you?" She spoke out, wanting to pass out at any time. Jay helped her to the floor.

"Well, I got kidnapped, they turned me into a vampire, yada yada."

"That... is horribl...." and like that, Nya was out from lack of blood in her system, her brain trying to catch up on the excess blood she needs. Jay sighed, and picked her up in his arms, walking out into the city with her.

Nya woke up with a jolt, looking around the room. The last thing she remembered was being with Jay. However, he was not here.

However, she did notice a piece of paper at the side of her bed, marked with a drawn on smiley face with a lightning bolt, signifying the recipient.

She made a grab for it quickly, turning the light on and flipping the pages over, reading over it.

Nya

I know you have questions, and I have answers.

Well, sort of.

I got turned into a vampire by my own mistakes, getting kidnapped was the biggest.

As of it, I am no longer the innocent man you once loved, I have my own issues.

However, I still care for you, and what I did was out of desperation, it wasn't personal.

However, I cannot come back to the team now, knowing how I violated you. I could never face you, or your brother again. Please don't look for me again. Love someone else, I am beyond saving.

She read over the letter a few times, still in disbelief. Sure the others would have questions, but they would accept him, no matter what- Nya would accept him, even with the flaws.

She knew Jay was still in there, otherwise he wouldn't have left her the letter, or taken her home for that fact.

Even with his new... .charm, a sort of bad boy persona, instead of his awkward bumbling mess sometimes, she would still love him for who he is. Plus, she kinda likes the new Jay.

Nevertheless, with Wu's help, they can try to find a cure to reverse Jay to the man she loves.

Activating her watch, she got back on her feet, and walked out the door.

'Don't look for me again.... Like that will happen Jay Walker. I'm coming for you.'
