"Come on, sissy. Sige na kasi! Promise, behave lang kami." Astrea and Kari is here. Andito ako sa room ko and they keep on annoying me.

"For pete's sake Astrea! Gabing gabi na tapos gusto mong lumabas ng academe?" But she still insisted. Niyuyugyog pa niya ang balikat ko together with Kari.

"We can fight naman eh, gusto lang namin makita ang buhay ng mga tao." pag rarason pa ni Kari but I don't care whatever their reasons will be.

"First of all, there are a lot of hunters out there. I don't want to be killed." I explained but still makulit sila.

Tinabihan nila ako sa kama at umupo.

"Come on, sissy. You are a hybrid, you can't be killed, Arcadia and I'm pretty sure na alam mo yun. Infact, you're almost as strong as the allegorical vampires-- oh wait! I think you're even stronger than them." Tinignan ko lang si Astrea dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I was once killed, Astrea. Well, not totally killed but I was half dead and I lost half of my memory because of that. And I don't want history to repeat itself. I don't want to forget my new family just like what happened before." Silence filled the entire room.

I thought titigil na sila but mali ako.

"Please," Kari pleaded.

Naka tingin lang sila sa akin pareho and I hate that.

"Fine. Ayusin niyo ang sarili niyo." Tumayo ako dahil nag sisitalon ang dalawa sa kama ko.

Tinignan ko lang silang dalawa. They both looks so happy sa pag payag ko. And I love seeing my family happy.

I smiled while looking at them.

Well, maybe it's okay to break some rules some times.

"Bakit hindi nalang tayo mag teleport?" Astrea asked me habang andito kami sa malaking gate ng Nightsbane Academe.

"I can't, the allegorical vampires are here remember? They will know na lalabas tayo ng academe pag nag teleport tayo." I explained.

I walked near the gate but as I touch it, tumalsik ako.

"Arcadia!" Kari and Astrea ran towards me at tinulungan akong tumayo.

"Damn." I whispered to myself.

The witches casted some spell para hindi kami malakabas and obviously, I'm not a witch to undo the spell.

"Going somewhere?" Nag angat ako ng tingin. And right infront of us is Laurie habang naka ngisi sa amin.

"Look, Laurie." Lumapit ako kay Laurie to ask her na palabasin kami. We only need her words para maka lusot sa boundary spell.

"Fuck!" I shouted in pain. She used her witch ability on me kaya napa-luhod ako sa sahig.

I can even feel my bones cracking.

"What the hell, Laurie?!" Lalapit sana sa akin si Kari at Astrea pero Laurie motioned her hands towards Kari at Astrea.

Ending? They can't even move an inch.

"Stop it, Laurie!" Naka luhod parin ako sa sahig.

Witch's perks. They will win if we are meters away from them but if nakalapit na kami sa kanila, we will just simply tilt their heads and then boom! They're dead.

They're good in magic but not in fights.

She smiled at me before freeing me from her spell.

"Anong gagawin niyo sa labas?" She asked pero hindi ako sumagot. I'm still recovering.

"I know you, Arcadia. You're a beast. You will end up sucking the bloods of all those poor humans." Tinaasan ko lang siya ng kilay sa sinabi niya.

"Whatever, a single drop of my blood can heal them and compelling is a very easy task, Laurie," I smirked.

After drinking the human's blood I will drop a tiny drop of my blood on their mouth to keep them alive and then, I will compel them to forget what happened to him or her.

"A beast, indeed. Just like the prime vampires and of course, your brother and his company." Sumandal siya sa gate as she crossed her arms.

I crossed my arms as well at tinaasan siya ng kilay.

"We are specially designed to be a monster, Laurie." I smirked. Tinignan niya sila Kari at Astrea and then she snapped her fingers kaya naka galaw na sila.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay, Arcadia?" Kari hurriedly run towards me to check me out.

"The same reason why the hunters loathe us." Lumapit siya sa akin tapos ay tinitigan ako. I didn't bulge.

It's my number one rule. Never show fear to anybody.

"You just need to accept yourself as you were designed. I know I am a monster, Laurie." She stepped back when I showed her my yellow eyes.

Linapit ko ang mukha ko sa kaniya at nginisian siya.

"I am a hybrid, a beast and I am proud of it." I gave her my deadliest look bago ako tumingin kila Astrea.

"Sleep. We're not going out tonight." I said before I run using my vampire speed papunta sa cemetery.

I have no weakness now. Maybe breaking the bond between Kazan is a good choice.

"Do you really need to feed on humans para mabuhay?" I am here sa grave ng isang hunter na naging bampira. Catherine to be exact. Red's ex lover.

"What are you doing here, Hera? Nag papakamatay ka ba?" I grabbed her at pinaupo sa isang square stone.

It's already dark here at gumagala gala pa itong taong to na akala mo mga kauri niya ang kasama dito.

"You can feed on animals too diba? Dugo parin yun diba?" She continued. Hindi niya pinansin ang sinabi ko.

Nag squat ako sa harap niya at nginisian siya.

"You know nothing about us, Hera." Tinignan niya lang ako at hindi sumagot. I can see no fear on her.

Tumayo ako and then sumandal sa gravestone na nasa gilid ko.

"I can even kill you right now." Using my vampire speed, lumapit ako sa kaniya at iniangat siya through gripping her neck.

I showed her my fangs and my yellow eyes. I can see fear on her eyes now. Ahh. One of the things that a monster loves to see. Fear.

"I know there is something good in you, Arcadia." Paputol putol niyang sabi.

I laughed at her dahil sa sinabi niya.

"The show is over, Hera. I tried changing myself for my mate, Kazan. I tried showing the good in me for two fucking decades but guess what? Nothing happened!" Binababa ko siya.

Nakatayo lang siya habang habol habol ang hininga.

"Now I realized. Being a monster is better."  She stepped backward nang lumapit ako sa kaniya.

I am pretty sure she can cleary see my yellow eyes, the veins beneath my eyes, and my sharp fangs.

Her whole body is trembling and now she started crying like a lost baby.

"Hush now, human. Don't cry, parang kagat lang to ng langgam." Her eyes widened dahil sa sinabi ko. Well, maybe naintindihan niya mga sinabi ko.

I smirked before attacking her neck as I suck her blood.

The old Arcadia is back. No weakness, No Mercy
