Once upon a time... In a village far, far away, on the continent called Mazuri, lived a hedgehog. How'd he managed to get there is unknown yet, but the boy was young at the time, so he wouldn't know either. That hedgehog's name... was Nightmare. 

He was an extraordinary boy, given the power he possessed. He was fast for his age, could control lightning and had the power similar to the Chaos Emeralds. One of the emeralds, at least. He got to know the villagers for the time he lived with them, becoming their friend and hero from any robbers or threats that would attack their peace. 

We moved to the now, where Nightmare's help is required once more. A strange, mustachioed fellow came to them, seeking the location of a Gaia Temple. What was it and where it was, the hedgehog knew. He had been sneaking out to visit it a couple times before. However, he also knew that the fellow wishes to harm his people. 

He wouldn't allow this to happen.
