Shader's   p.o.v.

i woke up,and it was the dead of night. i hear nico sleeping, so i decide to wake him up. i try to climb up onto his bed, and soon i manage to make it. i paw at his face,and he opens his eyes. at first he is mad, but then he see's that it is me and he grins. i jump down to the floor, having now woke him up.

"i hungry." i say, in human words, leaving him looking stunned.

" you can talk?" he says, looking at me.

" yup. now, again, i hungry."

he gets up, and gets me a bowl of cat food. i hungrily eat it, and then go to the door. Nico opens it, and i strut outside. it was really dark out, but i did not mind. i walk around camp, when a eagle swoops past me. i curl up in a ball as Jason Grace slides off the eagle. he see's me, and his expression softens.

"hey little buddy, arent you Nico's cat?" he asks, knowing the answer. i climb into his lap and fall asleep.
