Naruto was smart, but smartness wouldn't get him anywhere if he didn't have the speed to get there. Kyuubi was pounding his cage, rattling the bars, telling him to get out of the room.

"Argh!" Naruto panted as he slammed against the door with all his might but it wouldn't budge. Kyuubi pounded harder. Naruto knew what had to be done.

Two clones were summoned and he started to form the Rasen-shuriken. Naruto got ready, ran towards the door and-

"Aah!"

Naruto woke up with cold sweat pouring down his forehead,"Daisuke...!"

He looked around. This definitely wasn't his room, as the walls were white, the bed sheets weren't ramen colored and the sheer size of it was tiny.

"Naruto!" A voice called. Naruto jumped, startled by the sudden call and his eyes scanned the room to find an old man with a long beard.

His eyebrows furrowed,"Uh, who are you?" The old man chuckled,"Why it is I, the Sage of the Six Paths."

"Otherwise known as the holder of the ten tailed Juubi."

'This Sage guy is your dad?!'

"Yep."

The Sage shook his head, he knew the babbling of the Kyuubi was the thing that left Naruto trailing off his speech."Naruto," the Sage caught his attention,"I have come to speak with you for a number of reasons."

Naruto stared, perplexed,"What do you mean?" The Sage smiled softly,"Naruto."

"Yes?"

"Do you know who your parents were?" The Sage asked, looking Naruto straight in the eye. Naruto bowed his head down and shook it,"No..."

"Your parents were Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina."

Naruto gaped, staring wide-eyed at the grinning Sage,"Namikaze Minato as in the Fourth Hokage that saved the village from Kyuubi?!"

Inside Naruto's mindset, a certain fox pouted.

"Yes," the Sage sighed. He was an exact replica of his mother and father. Minato's looks and Kushina's personality was not a good combination.

"But why wasn't I told before?" Naruto scratched his head and raised one eyebrow. The Sage sweat dropped. And he thought the Kyuubi had taught him some sense,"Because then you would be wanted all over the world!"

"Ohhh." Naruto grinned awkwardly.

"Okay, you have two paths to go Naruto, and you will get knowledge." The Sage narrowed his eyes. Naruto straightened himself, mentally preparing himself for bad news.

"You can reveal to everyone that you are indeed the last Namikaze and go undercover with a number of special abilities."

Naruto raised an eyebrow,"Or?"

"You can completely change your image to another person and have a set of special skills."

Naruto grinned. He knew what he was going to choose.
