"You need to eat something first," the alpha stood up to go to the kitchen to prepare some food, but was stopped by the omega.

Vegas' POV

"Sorry," I took the tray from the nightstand amd placed it on his lap. "Here, eat this first then you can rest," he looked at me with doubtful eyes.

I deserve to live happy with my family just like any other people. And to do that, pa has to go. I won't let him harm any of my loved once again. That's all," A tear finally escaped from my eyes as I tried to hold it back. "I know where you are coming for Pete, you probably felt betrayed because of what you heard. I would've behaved the same. But trust me Pete, I really want to end all this misery and start a fresh with you by my side. However... If you don't want to be there with me... Then I won't force you." More tears spilled from my eyes. "Just allow me to watch you being happy from the distance, if I survive this flight that is," I laughed dryly. I know how dangerous this could be. My father is a sly man. He probably has lots of men by his side to back him up. But this has to end. I want my pup to be born in a world where they don't have to see their cruel grandfather. Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around my shoulders and painful wet sobs were heard against my neck.

"I am sorry," he said in between his sobs. I quickly wrapped my hands around his waist as I kissed his hair.

Pete's POV

Vegas was ready to kill his own father to protect me? He was ready to risk his own life for me? I... I have to words. Yet I started blaming him without listening to his full explanation. He took care of me while I pushed him away. I couldn't hold my tears and embraced his neck, wetting his neck.

"But... He is your father Vegas," I tried to warn him one last time.

"He never behaved like one," I sighed and kissed his cheeks.

"In that case, I really want to stand by your side for the rest of my life," I saw his eyes sparkling from excitement.
