Oh boy here we go with my feels.

These two are from Magia Record. I don't know much about Kokoro,

but Masara is a borderline emotionless person. She finds nothing exciting, and rarely smiles. She became a magical girl to find something exciting out of life, but found nothing of it.

But one day she met Kokoro. Kokoro's family was falling apart, and Masara gave her honest opinion; it wasn't Kokoro's fault.

Kokoro said those words saved her life, and she became happier. This confused Masara. Kokoro offered to be friends, which also confused Masara. Masara found herself uninteresting, even asking what Kokoro would get out of it. But they became friends anyway.

Mitama even comments about how Masara most likely cared for Kokoro. Masara says Kokoro is annoying, because Kokoro always wants to stay with her.

Masara is showing signs of depression, and thIS IS HOW YOU FUCKING WRITE DEPRESSION-

Masara doesn't find achievements in anything, nor satisfaction. She feels worthless, saying nothing will change if she were dead. She doesn't want to die, but rather she doesn't care if she lives or dies. She's confused by kindness, like Kokoro giving her a cookie for no reason. Masara only wishes to be stronger, so she could have a purpose in life.

AND THAT. IS HOW YOU WRITE DEPRESSION WITHOUT MAKING IT OBVIOUS. Most people write major depression, but depression of to where Masara has, is the type a lot of people have. Masara gets up only to fight witches because it's her duty.

Also Kokoro's Magical Girl outfit is bad ass.

So yeah.

I need to get farther in Masara's story, but this is so adorable.
