I wrote this in January 2018. I still feel the same way, so I decided to post this now.

George is many things to me.

These may include:

My favorite member of my favorite band, writer of some of my favorite songs, the reason I love/play guitar and ukelele, the reason I appreciate life more, the one who opened me up to more than the material world, showed me the beauty of Indian music, culture, and spirituality, my inspiration, my hero...

Now initially, people think I have a crush on him. (Well, I do have to admit, I do think he is attractive both inside and out, but that's not important.)

He really was someone who had a spiritual outlook on life, he was beautiful. His soul is truly beautiful.

I want to share some things on him that everyone should know.

(If there's any confusion, he died of cancer.)

I've felt this way about him for so long, so I decided it would be important for me to share.

He is someone I truly admire. Everyday, I remind myself to be a little more like George. Of course, he was not perfect (as no one is), but he was pretty close to it, in my eyes.

I wrote this during more not-so-great days, so he was such a key part of my happiness then. Now I am so much more happier, and I really thank George for that.

So all I can really say now is: Thank you, George.
