~Lucy's P.O.V.~

        "Ughh, where's Porylusica??" I groaned. "She should be here by now.."

        "We've only been here a couple minutes Lucy," said Jessie with a frown.

        "I know but she should be here by now!" I whined. Erza put her hand on my shoulder.

        "I know you're concerned, and we feel the same way, but Jet is doing his best to get Porylusica here as soon as possible," said Erza.

        "I know, but I'm still worried.." I sighed. Just then she finally came in.

        "I hate humans..." She muttered as she walked in. "Now what seems to be the problem?" We stepped aside to show her Natsu, who was laying in one of the infirmary beds. Her eyes widened as she examined him.

        "Will he be okay?" I asked worryingly to Porylusica. She shook her head.

        "I'm not too sure," she replied. "His leg is definitely broken, and his cuts are fairly deep, but before I can truly examine and treat him, someone has to clean him up first; he's very filthy." I looked at him. I hadn't noticed how muddy he was. "Also I will need to treat him at my place."

        "Who's going to clean him up?" I asked. Everyone slowly turned to me. I was confused for a second, but then I realize what they were thinking. "Oh no no no..." I said shaking my head.

        "Well, when you humans figure it out, I'll be waiting for you at my cottage," said Porylusica. She then left the infirmary. When the door closed, Jessie explained the plan.

        "Okay, here's the plan: Gray, Erza, and I will go to the guild basement and see if any books mention anything about the monsters from the village we were in. Lucy, you stay here and clean up Natsu,"

        "W-why can't Gray do it?l I asked.

        "C'mon Lucy, you don't have to see him naked," snickered Gray. Jessie and Erza punched him really hard for me.

        "What he means is that you can just use a wet towel to just wash his limbs and body. I would leave his broken leg alone though," explained Jessie. I sighed in defeat.

        "Alright fine..." I muttered. Jessie smiled.

        "Thanks Lucy, I owe u one," she said as she, Erza, and Gray headed out. I sighed. What did I just agree to? I looked over at Natsu who was still unconscious. I feel really guilty for not being there with him when whatever it was attacked him. Gray and Jessie told me he was crying tears because of how much pain he was in, and I could see pain still etched on his face. Wait, what was I doing again? Oh right. I went to go find a towel. I grabbed the one from the girl's bathroom and made it wet with cold water. I then went back to the infirmary and put the wet towel on Natsu's forehead to cool him off. Of course it got warm as soon as I put it on, but it was something. I took off his muddy and scarf and lifted the towel from his forehead. When I did, I felt something on my arm. It was Natsu's hand.

~Natsu's P.O.V.~

        "U-ugh.." I groaned. My head pounded, and I felt my hand on something really warm and soft. I slowly opened my eyes to see a blonde haired girl with dark brown eyes looking right at me. She looked so familiar, but I didn't know her, so I fearfully tried to move away, but my leg screamed in agony. My head started to feel like someone was hitting a hammer against it. Who was she? Where am I? Questions filled my mind, and each time a new question popped up, the more my head started to swirl. I clutched my head with my hands to stop the swirling, but it didn't work. I tried to stop the tears rolling down my face, but it woudn't stop. Just then the girl put her hand on one of my hands.

        "Hey, are you alright Natsu?" she asked concernedly. I flinch away from her. "Hey hey, it's alright."

        "W-who are you?" I fearfully asked. She frowned.

        "So you really lost your memories huh.." she said in a sad tone. I slowly nodded. "Well, what do you remember?" I thought it for a moment.

        "I-I don't remember anything..." I said hesitantly. I felt around my neck for something, but it wasn't there. "W-where's my scarf??" I started to panic, but she held my hand to calm me down, which worked.

        "Don't worry, I set it down right next to you." She pointed to the nightstand not to my bed, and I instantly calmed down when I saw a dirty and slightly bloody scarf resting on it. "So, would you like to know about yourself then?" She asked with a weak smile. I slowly nod. "Your name is Natsu Dragneel. You're 18 years old. You are a Dragon Slayer. You don't know who your parents are because you got separated from them when you were really young, so you were raised by a fire dragon named Igneel. Oh, and you're a Fairy Tail mage."

        "Natsu...Dragneel.." I slowly say. So Gray wasn't insulting me. I look at the blonde girl.

        "How do you know me?" She warmly smiled and showed me the back of her hand. On it was a pink mark, and it was the same as Jessie's and Gray's. It looked somewhat like a fairy that has a tail.

        "You're the reason I joined Fairy Tail in the first place," she explained. I tilted my head.

        "Fairy tail? What is that?" I asked. She frowned again, but answered.

        "Fairy tail is a mage guild," she said. "You really don't remember it?" I shook my head. Was I a mage? Ow! My head started to hurt again, but not as bad as before.

        "W-well, do you think that y-you can take off your shirt?" she muttered. I could see her cheeks turn a pink shade, and I could feel my cheeks turning red too.

        "W-why?"

        "You're really muddy, and Jessie forced me to clean you up, but since you're awake, do you think you can do it yourself?" I nod, and she hands me the wet towel. I try to take off my dirty black shirt, but I realized that my arm was covered in deep cuts, and it stung when I lifted my arm. The pain must've showed on my face because the girl took the towel back. "Here, I'll do it." She settled the towel on the chair she was sitting on and carefully took off my muddy shirt. When she did, she gasped. "W-what the.." She said in a voice that was barely above a whisper, but I heard her loud and clear.

        "What?" I said nervously.

        "N-nothing, nothing at all.." She whispered. I frowned, knowing that she was lying. "L-let's just get you cleaned. She carefully cleaned all the dirt and dried blood from my body. Every time she went through a cut, I winced, but hoped she didn't notice. When she finished, she helped me put my shirt back on. I suddenly realized that I didn't know her name.

        "Um, what was your name again?" I sheepishly ask. She looked up from washing my scarf.

        "I'm Lucy," she answered with a warm smile.

        "Lu...cy.." I said slowly. That name sounded warm and comforting... Wait didn't Gray say something about someone named Lucy? He said she was my girlfriend... but Jessie elbowed him for saying that, so was it a trick? I was about to ask when Gray, Jessie, and a red haired girl with armor bursted through the door.

        "Did you guys find anything?" Lucy asked the red-haired girl. She shook her head.

        "We couldn't find anything about the village, or about the monsters," she answered. She glanced over me and smiled. "Ah, so he's awake then?" Lucy blushed and playfully punched her.

        "D-don't get any ideas!" She stuttered.

        "Don't worry, I know you wouldn't," she chuckled. She came over to me. I looked over to Lucy, who nodded in comfort. "My name is Erza, how you feeling Natsu?" she asked.

        "O-okay," I muttered. She was pretty, but not as much as Lucy.

        "Can you walk?" I look down at my leg and shake my head. It was very painful to just back away, so I'm guessing I can't walk.

        "Well, we're going to have to either carry you or..." She started to smirk, and when I saw Lucy's scared expression, I knew this wouldn't be good.

        "O-or just let him rest first.." stuttered Jessie before she could do anything. I silently sigh a breath of relief. Erza pouted, but muttered a "fine". Jessie whispered something into Erza's, Gray's, and Lucy's ears, but they were too far away for me to hear them. When Erza and Gray stepped out of the room, I started to get nervous.

        "W-where are th-they going?" I stuttered.

        "They're just going to go pack, but for now you can rest." She handed me a glass of water. I hesitantly took it from her hands and took a sip. It was surprisingly sweet, so I gulped the whole glass down.

        "That was delicious! What was that?" I asked as I wipe my mouth. She smiled.

        "It's water, but I added some potions for the pain," she explained.

        "Thanks," I say. I yawned. Wow, I'm suddenly really tired.

        "Get some sleep, you're obviously very tired," giggle Lucy when she saw me yawn. I nod and lie down on the bed. Jessie places a warm, fuzzy blanket over me, making me even more drowsy. I saw Lucy looking at me with a worried expression.

        "What's wrong Luce?" I drowsily asked. Wait, why did I call her Luce? Her eyes widened at the mention of the name of Luce.  She stroked my head.

        "Nothing Natsu, just get some sleep," she replied.  I weakly nodded and slowly closed my eyes.
