looks: emi is a petite girl who has a small frame and average sized breasts (C-cup). her and her sister (namuri) share many similar traits, including their large brown eyes and pink hair, though emi's hair has a peachier tone to it. emi's hair is also chin length and wavy, though she still shares her sister's bangs. emi is also slightly shorter than her sister, but has a more feminine frame than namuri (more hourglass shaped), which gives her a delicate, almost princess-like air. she tends to go for a girly style and likes very sweet and kawaii style clothing; big sweaters with a pleated skirt and knee high socks are her favorite outfits to wear. she'll often pair that with a bow in her hair or a delicate bracelet. she doesn't like it when her outfits are too busy and she loves to be comfy, so this combination is her go to. when she works at her first job at a coffeeshop, however, she wears the standard green sweatshirt (oversized ofc) and a black or white pleated skirt with lacy knee socks and Converse hightops. if it's extra cold outside that day, then she'll add a collared shirt underneath for some extra style. most of her everyday outfits are inspired by her current shojo obsession.

personality: much like  her sister, emi is a bright and cheery girl who likes to spend her time exploring her latest otaku endeavor. emi is a very social person and makes friends very easily, even if she comes off as a little shy when you first meet her. she's a hopeless romantic, often getting lost in daydreams about otome games and shojo manga. there's nothing she loves more than spinning stories about couples that are hopelessly in love and their clumsy tales together. she's written numerous amounts of fanfiction and has actually gained some popularity on sites like Wattpad and AO3. she loves anything cutesy or pink (especially pink) and this love is shown on almost everything she owns, from her phone case to her backpack. emi can also be a bit too sensitive, often taking things to heart when the person meant no harm by their words. she overthinks things on a daily basis and can be a bit dramatic. she cries very easily and from almost any emotion, be it anger, fear, happiness, etc. emi is also a bit gullible, which can lead her into bad situations if she's not careful (or, more likely, accompanied by someone who is more rational than she). she can be rather weak-willed at times, mainly because she never wants to offend anyone and, instead, wants everyone around her to be happy. for this, people will take advantage of her and manipulate her into doing things that they want. she craves attention, praise, and affection and is extremely dedicated to finding her 'soulmate' (an idea which she firmly believes in).

occupation:
- barista/delivery girl: emi works at a coffee shop with hirotaka's younger brother, naoya, who she's very close with due to the fact that the four of them grew up together. though she signed on as a barista, emi is often tasked with delivering drinks to different office buildings and shops around the city. if the destination is too far for her to walk there and back quickly, she'll opt to take the store's bike, which she affectionately calls mollie. when she first started having to do these deliveries, she got her boss's permission to revamp the bike and did just that. she repainted the frame, which is now a baby pink hue. she also added a large wicker basket, complete with a large bow of course, to the front where she can secure the drinks.
- manga store employee: when emi is not working on her shifts at the coffee shop, which are usually only in the morning, she goes straight to her second shop as an employee at a manga store. she absolutely adores this job because it gives her a chance to read all her favorite titles when the store is slow. there are tons of nooks and crannies meant for reading, but many are too high or too small that most people never utilize them. emi never misses such an opportunity, her favorite nook being a space above the cash register where she has decorated with fluffy pink pillows and blankets. she also tries to get some work for her other passions done while she's here.
- voice actress: emi has a naturally high pitched voice and she has found mild success in the world of voice acting, usually being taken on as roles of the love interest or a loli type character for smaller known anime. still, as she participates in more and more projects, she's continuing to grow in popularity.
- author: emi not only writes avid fanfiction, but she also writes her own novels, screenplays, and even manga scripts. usually the plot is relatively the same (always about love and romance) but her characters are always well fleshed out and have great chemistry. now if only she could actually complete one of these projects...
- cosplayer: emi, as most otaku do, loves to cosplay. she goes to every convention she can and has an instagram account dedicated to her cosplays. from this, she's also gained some popularity as a cosplayer, but not as much as a model, which brings us to
- model/online personality: emi, in a way to make some extra cash, decided to take up some modeling jobs while she was still in college. unbeknownst to her, those few photo shoots became extremely famous and she now has many modeling gigs, most of them being for lolita fashion or other cutesy type brands and clothes. she often has to take time off of her other two day jobs in order to attend these shoots, but she absolutely loves it. she often gets to take her pick from the clothes that she models in, so it helps fuel her clothing obsession.

likes: her sister, strawberries, sweets of any kind (though her favorites are parfaits and macaroons), cutesy things, warm clothing, skirts, stuffed animals, calming video games (animal crossing, pokemon, etc), riding a bicycle, and hot tea.

backstory: emi grew up with her sister snd the two of them were always as close as siblings can be. they did everything together, which cultivated emi's love for someone nurturing in her life and her desire for someone like that as her "soulmate". as she got older, she shared narumi's love for 'otaku' type things, though she was never as self conscious about it as her sister was; granted she didn't openly publicize it, but she would happily talk about her favorite manga if her friends were interested. as emi went off to college, she swamped herself with so many different interests and endeavors, that she left with all of her jobs that she still pursues. she was disappointed after not meeting her one true love in college, but she keeps hope that she'll find them soon enough.
