Task Force 99
(A/N: Yeah, I know. This is based on Star Wars. I made this team due to art seeing them as Halo Spartans, so I had to make this. Their symbol is the one on top of the page.)
==========
History: Task Force 99 is a specialized group of Guardians that hail from the Pan-Pacific Commonwealth of Oceania, specifically from Australia. Acting as both a special forces unit and a covert ops team, they're an experimental group of Supersoldiers that have possess desirable mutated traits that appear to be far more advanced compared to the average Guardian. What makes then unique is the fact that all five members are quintuplets, brothers who each enlisted into the military. Each one of the members acquired certain abilities unique to the team and their military records have proven they're an effective combat unit that surpasses all but a few Guardian Fireteams. Given the fact the team members have grown up in Australia's wilderness, they're well adept in fighting in hard, dangerous, and hazardous environments that would kill any normal man.

As soon as he was augmented, like his brothers, the augmentations mutated Hershel, giving him a unique ability which granted him enhanced senses that allowed him to perceive electromagnetic frequencies. This is a useful ability as he can track the electromagnetic fields used in technology. As a Guardian, he's an agile fighter, able to perform flips and kicks while coordinating his weapons and strikes with his weapons. He was incredibly skilled with a number of weapons, but his favorite was his vibro-knife.
Once his training was completed and he was given a modified PHALANX Powered Assault Armor, he would go on to be team leader of an experimental unit of Guardians called Task Force 99. Comprised of his brothers, they also have desirable mutations which would make them a lethal force on the battlefield. Often called Hunter, served as a Captain, commanding the sharpshooter Crosshair, the brute Wrecker, the technology genius Tech, and the hacker Echo. Due to the fact there were still a number of insurgents and rebels, Task Force 99 would complete a series of missions with a 100% success rate but had a reputation for their unorthodox methods and disobedience. Hunter lost count of the number of missions they had completed, feeling that the action blurred together.
Personality: A little gruff, but not unfriendly, Hunter habitually expressed himself in straight words, although, at times, he did show a sense of humor. Hunter was described as strong and stoic. Hunter demonstrates a strong sense of morality and knowledge of right and wrong, to the point of disobeying orders he felt were unjust. The entire left side of Hunter's face was tattooed with half of a skull. He had longish dark brown hair and wore a red bandana at most times with a small white skull symbol.

Crosshair
Famous Quotes:
-"You miss me? How touching."
-"We don't usually work with 'regs.'"
-"Figures we'd get in trouble because of them."
Military Rank: Warrant Officer
Background: Born in Australia, Calen is one of five quintuplets. Trained by his father, along with his brothers, Calen was proficient at being a sniper and well good at it. Nicknamed 'Crosshair', he would enlist into the ODF military with his brother before being chosen to become a part of the Guardian program. As soon as he was augmented, like his brothers, the augmentations mutated Calen, giving him a unique ability with exceptional eyesight that far better compared to normal Guardians. Due to this, Crosshair had almost unrivaled accuracy with ranged weaponry, particularly with his sniper rifle; no matter the distance, Crosshair could almost always hit any target he was tasked with shooting.
As a result, he and his brother who also have desirable mutations were formed into a fireteam known as Task Force 99. Crosshair could regularly hit objects, large or small, with exceptional precision from extremely long distance. As noted by Hunter, this precision could extend to miles away. Crosshair could also hit small objects while they were in motion. On one mission, Crosshair shot frag grenades while they were in mid-air, causing them to activate early and maximize damage. On another mission, Crosshair destroyed an entire hallway of terrorists using a single gauss round, by precisely firing it into a series of reflective apparatus that bounced off the walls and tore through multiple targets. In addition to his unrivaled marksmanship, Crosshair's enhanced eyesight also allowed him to see objects through low visibility. Crosshair was also fast and flexible to climb towers and even slide down them while also having some hand-to-hand combat skills.
Working as a squad and rarely working with regular soldiers, Crosshair and his squad-mates secured a hundred percent success rate. Although Crosshair developed a disdain for them, there were rare missions that saw regular guardians work alongside the team. During those missions, there were even few that actually managed to earn his respect.
Personality: According to Cpt. Hunter, he was capable of shooting targets from ten kilometers away. Crosshair cherished his Twilight v.4 rifle. As a result of his sniping skills, the specialist Guardian had a feeling of superiority, disliking the idea of needing to work alongside regular Guardians and normal soldiers. Crosshair's deformities included him being slenderer than his stockier brothers and having silver hair. He also had a tattoo of a circle and a line vertically across his right eye, a designed that matched his namesake.
Crosshair was also known for his caustic attitude and icy demeanor. He had a general disdain of 'regs', a term used by Clone Force 99 to refer to regular Guardians, and was always the first to express criticism, usually in a very sarcastic way. Nevertheless, he proved that he could always remain calm, even remaining as such when failures occurred around him. He could be rude to others, often offering unsolicited and harsh criticisms accusing others of ineptitude, or otherwise breaching a sore subject.
Crosshair had a very dry sense of humor, which often put him at odds with his boisterous teammate Wrecker. Although the two could work together quite effectively, Crosshair and Wrecker often engaged in competitive quarrels about which one could destroy more battle droids in the course of a mission. This was especially seen when Crosshair destroyed a considerable number of enemies within a few seconds with a single gauss round.

Echo
Famous Quotes:
-"Well... it could be worse."
-"So... what was the plan again?"
-"Here we go again."
Military Rank: Warrant Officer
Background: Born in Australia, Ethan is born a quintuplet alongside 4 other brothers. Often nicknamed 'Echo' buy his brothers due to sometimes repeating things that are told at him, Ethan enlisted into the ODF military before being chosen to join the Guardian Program. After he got his augmentations, an accident occurred, and Ethan was caught in an explosion which did severe damage to his body. Though he did survive, he sustained wounds that cost him his right arm and legs while his neural and respiratory systems were damaged. In order to save his life, Echo was essentially transformed into a cyborg as he is outfitted with cybernetic replacements for his legs, while his right arm, which he had lost, was replaced with a cybernetic prosthetic with a socket-arm that allowed him to interface with computer systems. Despite his cybernetic appearance, he was still loved by his brothers and after being given a modified PHALANX Powered Assault Armor, he would go on to join Task Force 99.
What should be known about him is that when he survived the accident and turned into a cyborg, Echo is indeed have a mutation and that it gave him a form of technopathy. Apparently, his brain, thanks to his cybernetic enhancements, allows him to see things digitally in a 4D plane. As a result, whenever he uses his prosthetic arm to hack into computers or other forms of technology, he can psychically interact, communicate and manipulate technology with the power of the mind. This allows him to shut down or have technology used by their enemies turned against them. This makes him extremely valuable for his team as Echo can physically hack into enemy defense or weapon systems and turn it against them. Furthermore, he can locate enemy positions and gather vital intel that can help turn the tide of battle.
Personality: Echo showed considerable resolve and is loyal to the PPCO and their UFN allies. As a result of his cybernetics, Echo displayed a high level of creativity and deviance from standard protocol, though he was sometimes critical of his squad members' lack of cleanliness and order. Because of the accident that left him crippled, Echo's skin became pale during his time in stasis and his body was outfitted with numerous cybernetic implants, including a prosthetic with a socket-arm in place of his right hand but he became weak and emaciated, and had also lost his hair. Following his recovery, Echo's physicality was soon restored to its original physique and upgraded with improved cybernetics, although he remained pale and hairless.

Callsigns/Nicknames:

Wrecker
Famous Quotes:
-"The cavalry has arrived!"
-"Anymore?! Come on!"
-"We're going down! Hahahahaha!"
Military Rank: Warrant Officer
Background: Born in Australia, Wade is one of five quintuplets. Nicknamed 'Wrecker' by his brothers, Wade is the muscle head of his brothers who was known for his brute strength. Like his brothers, Wade enlisted into the ODF military before being chosen for the Guardian program like his brothers. Once he was augmented and given a modified set of PHALANX Powered Assault Armor, Wrecker was mutated with a unique ability of being physical stronger and have more stature far exceeding that of his fellow Guardians. So much so that special limiters are placed on him to reduce his strength in order not to 'accidently' hurt his allies. Only during certain occasions is he allowed to remove those limiters in order to use his full-strength capabilities.
He was then put into a specialized commando squad of Guardians called Task Force 99 which comprised of his other four brothers. As a part of Task Force 99, Wrecker went on several missions involving putting down remnant insurgents and terrorists. Although it was rare, the squad occasionally worked with regular Guardians, though the team often came at odds with the so-called 'regs', with Wrecker claiming the squad's ship would always be shot down when traveling with such Guardians. Regardless, Wrecker has proven to be an instrumental part of the team and is willing to do what he can to keep them safe.
Personality: Wrecker is known for being loud and excitable, and prone to expressing his opinions in a very exuberant manner. He had a deep passion for explosions and destroying enemy material, particularly with his bare hands. His only major weakness was his fear of extreme heights, which he described as having a problem with gravity. Despite having some difficulties when working with regular Guardians or other normal soldier, Wrecker and his squad came to respect some Guardians who have proven to them that they're not always strictly by the books.

Name: Thomas 'Tech' Fett
Looks:
Age: 35
Nationality: Australian
Callsigns/Nicknames:
Guardian-9902
Tech
Famous Quotes:
-"That's fine, but if you fall, don't take me with you."
-"Yes, I am playing against myself. It is the only time this game is a challenge.
-"Well, I thought it was obvious.
Military Rank: Warrant Officer
Background: Born in Australia, Thomas is born a quintuplet alongside 4 other brothers. Nicknamed 'Tech' by his brothers, Thomas is known for being the smartest of his brothers who eventually joined the ODF military before being chosen to join the Guardian program alongside his siblings. After his augmentations, it mutated his body which gave him the unique ability which enhanced his intelligence. So much so that it either rivaled or at time even surpassed Dr. Halsey. After being given a modified set of PHALANX Powered Assault Armor, Tech would join his brother in forming a team called Task Force 99.
While each of his squad-mates, Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and Crosshair, had their own unique abilities, Tech had a great intellect, which granted him an aptitude for science and incredible skills with technology, including engineering and hacking. Thanks to him, he's able to gather vital intelligence that would bring the downfall of many insurgent or terrorist groups.
Personality: While not a physically imposing individual, Tech's advanced data analysis skills allowed him to solve technical issues at speeds even faster than some droids. As a soldier whose genetic mutation gave him an unmatched gift for science and technology, it enabled him to surpass men and machines alike in those fields. He's a valuable member of the PPCO and the UFN. Personality-wise, Tech was very talkative and communicative, earning him his status as the most talkative team member. One of his major quirks was his eagerness to dispense trivial knowledge about any given subject without hesitation or reason. He did this regardless of whether anyone was listening to him, or whether anyone else cared about what he was saying, as Wrecker pointed out at one point. When confronted with a task which demanded his full concentration, he tended to become oblivious to what was going on in his surroundings, unless it was a matter of life and death. Tech could often miss the intention behind a question someone asked him.
He also made an effort to record all sentient sounds he encountered, which Hunter described as a 'hobby' of his. Tech was also very calm and non-confrontational, and rarely grew angry. When his squad-mates would argue with each other, he would frequently walk away and not participate. Much like Hunter and unlike his other two teammates, Tech was mostly civil and respectful to his fellow Guardians and soldier. Sometimes, his pragmatism made him fail to take into account the feelings of other members of his squad. Able to comprehend and notice things easily, Tech occasionally had a habit of unintentionally keeping important information secret, assuming that his teammates would notice it on their own.
