Jangmi

I rested my hands on my hips as I examine the tent sitting at the center of our backyard. This isn't like the closed tent with pillows and comforters inside like what Yoongi built last Christmas but instead it's a tent with four stands at the four corners. There are tables and chairs at the center and a griller at the side. Then outside of the tent, there are tons of woods for campfire. We also hung christmas lights at the sides of the tent. Making it look like the lights will fall to the ground.

"I guess we're ready for tomorrow." Yoongi beamed as he cross his arms and stood beside me.

"Heyyoo~" Hoseok hopped all the way towards us two then inserted himself in between like a child.  "Happy New Year!!!"

He said he got bored of playing games in his room for five days so as soon as he heard about our plan to arrange all of these he volunteered to help. We also took it as a chance to invite them to join us at New Year's eve which they gladly accepted.

"It's tomorrow sucker."

Aish. Yoongi is such a-

"Killjoy." Hoseok spat. Then he turned his head to me with a sunshine smile. "Happy new year noonanoona~"

"What in the name of noona is noonanoona?"

"It's what he calls me. " I answered Yoongi for Hoseok.

Jimin suddenly barged in the backyard with a basketball. He began to dribble around the place as Hoseok immediately ran to him. As soon as Yoongi and I are alone, we gave each other a knowing look.

Days passed since that day when we made a secret arrangement between Jimin and Da Hee and there are times when I doubt myself about doing it. I'm feeling a bit nervous, thinking that Jimin might end up getting angry at us. But even if we feel like this, New Year's tomorrow and there is no turning back. I want to at least try helping because I believe that there is more between the two of them. They cannot throw away something they've started without finishing it just because of some flaws.

I took my phone from my pocket when I heard my ringtone. It's a message from Taehyung.

[Can I come over your place?

-Taehyungie]

I smiled and shouted at the others. "Boys! Taehyung's on his way here."

"Jinjja?" Jimin and Hoseok asked in unison and I happily nodded before quickly typing my reply.

[Of course~]

[Good 'cause I'm right in front of your house.

-Taehyungie]

I raised my eyebrows in amazement. "Oh wow." I chuckled before heading inside and walked straight to the front door. A funny looking Taehyung greeted me as he had both of his hands clutched on the metal bars of our gate while his face is stuck in between the space of the bars, making it seem like he's desperate to get out of jail.

"Annyeong~" We greeted each other at once and I quickly opened the gates for him. We entered inside the house and he greeted both of my parents who just came downstairs to see our new visitor. Then I pointed him the way to the backyard to meet the others. I turned to my mom who opened her mouth to say something but seem hesitant.

"So, when will you bring a girl friend?"

I pressed my lips and smiled at her. I knew they'll ask me this. I mean, I'm aware too that as of the time being my friends are all guys.

"Jae Eun's gone,"

"M-hm."

"And I have another one which is the new guy's sister." I referred to Taehyung.

"Where is she?"

"She... I don't know. Maybe tomorrow she'll be here or what but I guess she's busy to get ready for the New Year's eve right now. They're living with their grandparents and she's really sweet so... Maybe she chose to help them."

"Oh." Omma nodded and gave me a smile. Then she brought me to the kitchen with her. "Let's make them some snacks."

"Sure." I shrugged and she began to open the fridge and make iced tea. As soon as she faced behind me, I let out a deep sigh.

She couldn't come because she's angry at us.

I kinda miss Da Hee. She's someone whom you want to be with because of her soft and kind personality. I adored her ever since we became friends with her which makes me miss her right now. Our friendship haven't gone through much yet but I do know she's a real friend.

As soon as the snacks were ready, we walked to the backyard and served it to the boys who's busy playing basketball. I wish oppa is here so their group is complete but he has to work. That's fine though since he promised that he'll close his shop tomorrow and on January one.

Jimin and Hoseok got back to playing after some rest which left me, Yoongi and Taehyung.

"Are you sure the plan's gonna work?" Taehyung broke the silence while chewing some ice from his drink.

"Handing them the phones will definitely work. But the question is, will they talk to each other?"

"Imagine if they didn't." I gasped.

"Oof. That would be awkward." Taehyung commented.

"Well, I just hope it will work nicely. I hope this will turn out good. And let's just wish we don't ruin their New Year."

The ball accidentally rolled to my direction and it stopped on my feet. I picked it up and gave it to Jimin when Taehyung suddenly tapped the table to call our attention.

"Let's go to Jin hyung."

"Great idea." I agreed. We helped in cleaning our mess and once we're done we immediately fixed ourselves then made our way to Jin's cafe.

Taehyung sat on the driver's seat of course, Yoongi at the passenger's seat and the three of us at the back. The ride was noisy and fun. Jimin, Hoseok and Taehyung are loudly singing along with the songs being played no matter what the genre is. There are Christmas songs, kpop, rap and other more. Yoongi and I kept on laughing at their dorkiness without even noticing that we arrived. We got out of the car and entered Jin's restaurant.

"Daebak. There's so many people in here." Taehyung wowed. We took our seats at the empty table and one crew noticed me immediately as we both waved st each other and he signalled me, saying that he'll tell Jin that we're here.

"They must've loved his food. He's great at cooking." Jimin shrugged.

Taehyung looked around the place. "Aren't we gonna order?"

"We're special customers. Just wait and see." Hoseok winked at him and I have a thumbs up. Well, there are times when Hoseok and I eat here and once Jin is aware that we visited, he will cook for us and serve food. For free!

"Call of nature call of nature." I murmured and shoved my hands to make way. Hoseok and Yoongi who are sitting beside me immediately moved to make space while they all made fun of me. Whatever just move I need to pee!

"Yipee." I whispered once I'm done relieving myself. I washed my hands and walked out from the bathroom in peace.

"Jangmi!"

I turned to my side and saw Haejoo unnie. Jin's girlfriend. I automatically grinned at her in excitement and we hugged each other.

"Unnie!"

"It's been a while."

"I know." I laughed and pulled from the hug. We faced each other and she slightly pinched my cheeks. "Are you sure you're safe now?"

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"You were missing. Kidnapped. Right?"

I blinked. Right.

Shit we're not gonna talk about this are we?

"Not totally missing. Um, I have reasons but yep, really doing great."

"I just found everything out because of your brother. He was the happiest when you came back home he even cooked a whole lunch set for me."

"Pfft he did not!"

"He did." We giggled. "He said he's really thankful because there are people who came to help you when you were captured. He told me that he won't be easy towards your future suitors anymore but turns out, he likes your suitor right now."

"Yoongi?" I laughed. "He sure does. How about you? Is Jin oppa treating you well unnie? I'm sure he's still stubborn at times even if he's already old enough."

"We're okay now." She shrugged, causing me to raise my eyebrows.

"Now?"

"He took it really hard when you were gone. To be honest, there was a time when we thought this restaurant will go bankrupt. He wasn't the cheerful guy I knew anymore and I thought it'll stay like that forever especially when the police gave up on searching for you."

"You fight a lot?"

"He fights everyone."

No. I couldn't believe all of that happened. Oppa is once of the most cheerful person I know and his passion in cooking is more than anyone can ever imagine. How would this restaurant become this successful if he's a simpleton in the kitchen? His talent in cooking is no joke and even if we had problems back then, cooking is his way to ease the anger or pain he's feeling. But then, he almost lost himself. God what did I do?

"...I'm glad I'm back." I blurted out. I grinned at Haejoo unnie.

"That's right. Oh gotta go now kiddo. The restaurant's busy and I can't afford getting a lecture from the boss." She joked referring to Jin. "Wish you all the best with your boyfie." She winked at me.

"Okay manager. Wish you all the best with your boyfie as well." I copied her and we waved at each other for the last time before returning from my seat.

"Who's that?" Yoongi asked.

"Oppa's girlfriend."

"Jinjja? She looks beautiful I think they actually look good together." Jimin exclaimed.

"That is a hundred percent-"

"True." Hoseok finished my sentence. "We're just waiting for their wedding. They are each other's soulmates."

"The food's here." Taehyung happily said. The waiter bowed at us before leaving as I shot him a small smile. I'm actually friends with everyone in here since I visit often.

We began to eat again while chatting about different topics. There's a lot of food. Pizza, cold noodles, jajangmyeon and more.

[We'll leave now.] I sent oppa a message before leaving the restaurant.

"Aish. Yah!" Hoseok shouted and ran towards Taehyung. "Get back here!"

"You wish hyung!" Taehyung continued to run away like a child. The three of us headed towards the car and watched them run around until Taehyung quickly entered the car and we did the same.

"ANNYEONG~"

"Andwae!!!"

We looked behind us and bursted in laughter when we saw an exhausted Hoseok running with all his might just so he won't get left behind. This is a familiar scene isn't it? But with some character changes.

"Pali!" Yoongi said and Taehyung obeyed him as they laugh in unison. We looked back once more and saw him too far from us and it seemed like he gave up already. He's literally walking like an exhausted zombie.

"Guys?" Jimin called our attention. I turned to him then followed the direction he's looking at. As if on cue, Taehyung suddenly stopped the car and everything went silent.

There at the other side of the road, we saw two familiar figures entering the car before quickly driving away from the place.

"It's the same car." Taehyung broke the silence once the car was gone. "The one that parks in front of the mansion's gates at nights. Everytime I look at the cctv camera it was there."

I let out a heavy sigh as I place my hand on my forehead due to frustration.

This meant only one thing. They finally found us.

Third Person

Lilac and Mason arrived at Jungkook's place with a huge smirk plastered on their faces. They quickly entered the house and walked straight to the basement and found Jungkook playing piano tiles with his phone.

A bad boy still needs games.

"Jungkook?" Lilac called but Jungkook ignored them and continued playing. It wasn't because he meant to be rude but because there's no pause in piano tiles. But once the game was over, he gave cold looks at the two and waited for them to speak.

Lilac shot Jungkook a victorious smile while Mason whistled and placed his hands in his pockets. She walked towards Jungkook and handed him her phone. Jungkook held the phone but Lilac refused to remove her grip as well. She tilted her head to the side and winked at Jungkook to hit on him once more but he didn't get to see it since he did not even throw a glance at her once she got near. Jungkook harshly grabbed the phone causing her to slightly stumble.

Pissed off, she gave in and walked back beside Mason. Jungkook just sighed in annoyance and began scanning the phone.

He saw pictures of Jangmi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung... Yoongi.

A scoff escaped from his lips.

"We found them." Mason clicked his tongue. "Bingo."

A scoff escaped from Jungkook's lips.

Time for the next move.
