Levy's POV

Gajeel, his mom and I wait for our friends at the old library. I look around as I play nervously with my ring.

"Come one Mr. Mayor. No one will hurt you," I hear Erza say.

"Are you sure the Demon won't hurt me? He did killed Elise," the mayor says as I faintly see them in the distance.

"Don't worry! No one will hurt each other," Lucy tells him.

The walk up as we stand here as the mayor looks between us three.

"Isn't the blue hair girl Levy? The one who went for the job Elise put out?"

"Yes. The other two with her are Lilac and Gajeel," Gray says.

"Will any of them harm me?"

"I promise you that they won't," Erza tells him.

"Alright. So why did you want me to come here?"

"We just wanna talk," Gajeel tells him.

"Will the Demon hurt me," the mayor ask.

"Why do they keep thinking that I hurt people," Gajeel says as he sighs.

"W-wait...Y-your the Iron Demon," he stutters out as he points at Gajeel.

"Ta be more exact I'm half Nature Demon and half Iron Dragon," Gajeel says.

"You're a Demon and Dragon?!"

"And I'm his mother," Lilac says. "Though I am fully Nature Demon. His father is the Iron Dragon."

"Alright. So you brought me out here to show me the Demon and his mother?"

"And to tell you the truth," I pipe up. "Gajeel never meant to hurt anyone. Just to be left alone. And Elise getting killed wasn't us."

"Then explain," the mayor says as he looks at Gajeel.

Gajeel sigh as he explain everything as I join in if he forgot something. The mayor nods his head and mutters something that I can't understand.

"Alright. I will let you stay. Just don't cause trouble. I will get the request down and tell everyone not to fear you. Maybe Lilac can help us with farming. The farms around here have been having trouble growing food."

"I would be glad to help. I will probably stay in the cabin that my son stayed in," Lilac says.

"And you don't have to hand us the reward to Gajeel. You can use that for fixing your town up," Gray says.

"I will. It's good to know that people can play in the woods again. The children love to hide in them," the mayor says as he smiles.

"We will also be taking the book with us. It will be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands," I tell him.

"That is understanding. Let us go and tell the town the great news," the mayor says as we all depart to the town.

"What about me," I hear a voice say as I turn to see Buttercup paddle over to us.

"Ya can join me. Or stay and keep my mom company," Gajeel tells her.

"Hmmmm...that's a tough choice...."

"We can always visit you," I tell her.

"Alright I'll say! You two stay safe! And I better see a kid the next time you visit," Buttercup says as we both blush.

"Shut it ya wolf," Gajeel mutters as I giggle.

Buttercup smiles as she paddles into the woods after saying farewell to us. I intertwine my hand with Gajeel as we get towards the edge of the woods. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and we can get to Fairy Tail with no problems.
