Chapter 5

The living room was filled with balloons. Not just any special balloons, but there were polaroid pictures that were attatched on the end of the string.

There were pictures of NCT Dream with Haejin. There were also pictures of her and EXO members. With her parents, and "parents," Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

"What time did you guys wake up?" She asked, seeing all the efforts they've done for her.

"Around 4 or 5 am." Mark shrugged.

"Everybody!!!" Renjun shouted.

SAENG-IL CHUKA HAMNIDA~" They all sang at once.

"Thank you, guys!" She smiled at them.

"Do you have schedules for today, Haejin-ah?" Taeyong asked her.

Mark and Jaemin immediately looked at the two and waited for her response.

"I'll just go to SM later. No, I don't have schedules because certain someones want me unemployed." She rolled her eyes. Oh yes, she was referring to Jaemin and Mark.

"Yah, we're only doing this for you." Mark said, defending himself.

"I told you that you could go back to work after a few months right?" Jaemin said.

Haejin acted as if she was shocked, "Oh, why are you guys being defensive? I didn't say names."

They all laughed.

They all sang once Haejin opened the door. They were holding a cake, and a banner was hanging on the wall.

"Thank you guys!!!" She said, running towards them.

"Ah~ Thank you, really. For not leaving me. For not forgetting me. For everything. I love you guys so much!" She said, hugging them.

"Yah, we're here to jam! Not to be emotional!" Eunji playfully patted her back.

"Unnie how can we forget you?" Xiurong said, laughing.

They sat down and opened their twitter account. She saw their fans' greetings and messages. They were still praying for her even though she is alright now. Well, they still don't know that she's already awake. Maybe not until now.

She posted a picture of her, saying Happy birthday to Haejin Lee! #HappyHaejinDay 💙

This made their fans more emotional. Saying that she should be back soon because they already miss her. She was fighting the urge to tell them that she's already awake.

Maybe she'll tell them later, the president respected her decision when she said that she doesn't want the fans to know about her yet.

"Hey guys can we do a live later?" Haejin said.

"Are you sure? I thought—"

"I know, but I miss G-Angels already." She said, showing her phone which showed the tweets of G-Angels.

"Alright, fine."

"Is that the first track?" She asked when the music started playing.

Yui nodded, "Yes, 'I'll be right here' is the title."

"I'll be right here~" The members sang in sync, well, except for Haejin who doesn't know the song.

She watched them as they sing in front of her. As if they were having a concert.

The song came to an end and she found herself crying while clapping at the same time.

"Unnie, did you know that we got emotional during the winter stage? Also the G-Angels. They were crying while waving their kyobongs."

The members of Girls' Avenue were seated in front of the camera. Well, all of them except for Haejin. Who was behind the camera.

"We will start when 10,000 people—" Eunji couldn't continue what she was about to say when she saw that 12,000 people already joined. "Okay nevermind that, hello G-Angels!" She waved.

Haejin really wanted to run towards tje camera and give their G-Angels a reassuring smile. She wanted to tell them that she's fine and there's nothing to worry about.

The comments started to come fast. There were many languages seen. Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, French, Filipino, and many more.

Haejin-unnie happy birthday!

I hope that Haejin's already alright.

Upon seeing their fans' disappointment when they didn't see their Haejin-unnie/noona, Junghee, being the jolly maknae she is, tried to lighten up the mood.

"Why are our G-Angels sad? Haejin-unnie will also be sad if you guys are, too." She then gave their fans a reassuring smile.

Soeun nodded, "Haejin-unnie will be back soon, guys. Do not worry too much."

"Haejin-ah, happy birthday." Eunji said— and that was the cue.

The members looked at the door and acted as if they were shocked.

And the fans, on the other hand, were wondering what happened.

The members started singing the birthday song and on that moment, their fans knew, Haejin was there. Haejin was okay. She is fine.

Haejin sat in front of the camera.

And they felt as if their fans were crying, even if they can't see them right now.

"Hello everyone! Are you surprised?" She asked, smiling from ear to ear.

The fans, and the members could finally sleep properly at night without worrying over their beloved Haejin.

"The members? They're great actresses, right?" She laughed. Then se continued, "I was standing behind the camera the whole time they were talking."

The fans could not believe it. Haejin looked fine. Although she looked thin, well, blame the 5 month hospitalization.

"I have seen all of your greetings. Even the birthday ads on Myeong-dong. I saw them all," Haejin said, smiling. "I am okay now, guys. No need to worry okay?"

"I told you, she'll be back soon." Soeun stated with a matter-of-fact type of tone and the members just glared at her.

Haejin-unnie will you be in this year's comeback? A fan commented.

"For this year's comeback? Maybe? If the company will allow me already, and if my brother agrees, then yes. Maybe I'll be in the comeback." She smiled.

On that day, their fans knew that their beloved unnie/noona is back.

Lee Haejin is back.
