Somnath didn't understand what Kaka was doing, or why he was getting beaten by Kaka's cane! But the beatings hurt, and he was growing overly frustrated by all this. 

"NALAYAAK! BADTAMEEZ!" Kaka went on, "BESHARAM!" 

Bondita gulped and she said to her Pati Babu, "I think we should tell him the truth! Poor Somnath Dada is getting beaten up for no fault of his." 

Anirudh removed his hand from his head and inhaled sharply. 

Kaka continued, "I WILL BOOK TICKETS TO KAASHI ITSELF. BIKRAM IS FROM THERE! I AM SURE HE MUST HAVE A RELATIVE WHO WILL THROW THIS BOY INTO THE RIVER!" 

It was at this point that Binoy and Sampoorna came rushing in, after hearing the commotion. Bihari and Koeli had also come in, standing close to the back. 

"Da, what's going on?" Binoy asked, sounding a little worried. 

"YOUR SON WILL BRING DISGRACE TO THE HAVELI BINOY!" Kaka said, and lowered his cane, stomping it on the ground hard. 

"What are you talking about Kaka? Why are you beating me so many months later over those images?" Som asked, utterly confused and irritated.  

"Because the consequences came all these months later!" Kaka wailed, sounding like he could cry. "Out of wedlock! I've told you to get married, but you are becoming a doctor to do these horrendous things!" 

Somnath was so confused! What did he do?

But Kaka wasn't done. He continued, "YOU IMPURE BOY! DISGUSTING! YOU ARE GIVING ME A GRANDCHILD WITHOUT EVEN GETTING MARRIED? ONLY YOU COULD DO SUCH A THING! WHAT FACE WILL WE SHOW EVERYONE NOW?"

Somnath nearly lost his mind when he heard this. Kaka thought he impregnated a girl? SERIOUSLY? He really needed to get his brain checked! 

His Dada was the one who was a lustful beast!

His younger brother was the one who claimed he would be a doctor to touch girls!

And here Somnath was getting the blame, when he didn't want to go near a girl in that way because of how disgusting it was!

Anirudh took another deep breath and finally stepped forward, in front of Kaka, as Somnath rubbed his sides, wincing in pain, full of irritation. 

"Kaka... it's not Som," Anirudh said, his heart aching, as he was about to confess something he hadn't even fully accepted himself. 

"What are you talking about Anirudh?" Kaka asked irritably, "If it isn't Som, then who can it be?" 

Bondita stepped beside Anirudh and took his hand in hers, squeezing it reassuringly, supportively. 

Anirudh glanced down at their joined hands, and took a deep breath, bringing his other hand to her hand and gently removing it. 

Bondita's heart fell when he did this. He kept on withdrawing himself from her, and it hurt. 

"It's..." Anirudh started. 

"BATUK! You fool!" Kaka said, and glared at Batuk before Anirudh could finish. 

"What?" Batuk asked, frowning, "What did I do?" 

"You said grandchild, but I'm going to have another nephew or niece am I not? Don't you know the difference between grandchild and that?" Kaka demanded. 

Batuk folded his arms, offended. How come everyone took him to be a fool? How would he not know the difference between grandchild and niece or nephew! 

That was like saying he was Super Grandpa to his Big D and Boudi's baby. He shuddered at the thought! He was perfectly fine as Super Chachu!

Kaka then turned to glare at Binoy. "Is Sampoorna Bahu pregnant again? Or... is it... SHIV SHIV SHIV, from outside? Binoy, how could you?!"

Binoy looked at Trilochan like he had lost it, and even Sampoorna's face went red. 

"Seriously Da? What are you going on about?" Binoy questioned. 

It was at this time that Manika came too, and she stood to the side, wondering what had happened. Her eyes landed on Bondita, and although Bondita looked sad, she didn't look devastated. Did... Anirudh go through with it? It was hard to figure out from Bondita's expressions, because Bondita was someone who could easily mask her pain in front of her Pati Babu's happiness. 

"Either Batuk is fooling me, or he is the fool!" Trilochan concluded. 

Batuk rolled his eyes and said, "I'm not fooling you, nor am I a fool!" 

Anirudh had his hand pressed to his face again. 

"Binoy, are you going to be a father again?" Trilochan accused, narrowing his eyes. 

"Of course not!" Binoy told Trilochan, furrowing his brows. 

"Then how am I going to be a grandpa?" Kaka wondered, and then his eyes landed on Batuk, eyes widening, "GHOR KALYUG!" 

"NO!" Batuk screamed, and then ran behind Bondita, "IT'S NOT ME! I SWEAR!" 

"But you were crying about some nephew to Bahu..." Kaka thought, and then his eyes widened again, "BUT YOU ARE A FOOL TOO. WHAT IF YOU MISTOOK YOUR OWN SON FOR YOUR NEPHEW... SHIV SHIV SHIV!" 

"KAKA PLEASE," Batuk begged, grabbing Bondita's shoulders from behind, not even sure if he should be offended right now that Kaka thought he was so stupid, or scared. 

Kaka was coming up with all these fancy conspiracy theories, but he was not willing to accept the theory that made the most sense!

Anirudh turned to glare at Batuk when his brother touched Bondita, and he immediately grabbed hold of Bondita's arm, gently pulling her closer to him. 

Bondita looked up at Anirudh, feeling a sense of contentment, as his arm wrapped around her protectively from behind. Her side was pressed against his chest gently, as his arm extended around her back and gripped her shoulder. 

He leaned closer to her, and growled in a heavy voice, into her ear, "Stay right here. Don't move." 

Bondita couldn't help the flutter in her heart. She knew that these feelings were what caused this intimacy to begin between them in the first place. However, now that he knew the truth, his anger was less scary to her all over again. The way that he clutched her arm, and held her against him, made her knees go weak. 

Oh, how she loved her Pati Babu, in all of his forms!

"BIG DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD," Batuk groaned dramatically. "Tell Kaka! Otherwise he'll think the innocent me is going to be a father! At this age!" 

When Batuk mentioned his age, Anirudh's heart ached again. Bondita was that age too. 

Anirudh took a deep breath, still holding Bondita, as he confessed, "Kaka... it's not... Som... or... Batuk... or Baba..." 

"Then?" Kaka demanded, unable to understand who else it could be. Suddenly, he turned to Bihari. "BIHARI? BIHARI, IS YOUR WIFE PREGNANT?" 

"KAKA!" Anirudh yelled, as Bihari gulped from the back, scratching his head in confusion. 

"Is my wife pregnant?" Bihari wondered, "Why didn't she tell me?" 

"WHAT, ANIRUDH?" Kaka yelled, "EVERYONE IS MESSING WITH ME THESE DAYS. EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE IN ON SOMETHING, EXCEPT ME!" 

"Jethji, calm down..." Sampoorna started, finally understanding what all of this was about. It seemed like Anirudh hadn't terminated Bondita's pregnancy after all, and she was quite upset about this. Now her sister's life would really be ruined. A cold tone entered her voice, as she looked at Anirudh intensely, and said, "Ask Anirudh, what he did." 

Seeing Sampoorna's cold, hard stare, Anirudh felt his insides shiver again with pain and disgust. Disgust in himself. 

His grip on Bondita's shoulder shook and slightly loosened, and Bondita looked up at him, leaning against his chest a bit more, wanting to hug him so badly.

"What did Anirudh do?" Kaka questioned. "Will anyone tell me already?" 

"Tell him... Anirudh," Sampoorna said, looking at Anirudh with her cold stare, "Tell Jethji what you've done. You have done it, so you must face it, right?" 

Manika shot an annoyed look at Sampoorna, wondering what this lady's problem was. Already, it was clear that Anirudh was going through so much... and it didn't take one hand to clap. If Anirudh did something, Bondita did too. Anirudh would never force Bondita. 

Nevertheless, Manika was relieved that it seemed the abortion hadn't taken place, after all. 

"I... I..." Anirudh stammered. 

Bondita eyes suddenly welled with tears, over Anirudh's distant tone. 

His hand was about to drop from Bondita's shoulder, but Bondita used the arm that was pressed up against him, gently lifting it across her chest and gripping his hand with hers, placing it back firmly on her shoulder. Then she pressed her head against his chest again, cuddling into it with the side of her body. 

Kaka glanced at Bondita wondering what this fake affection was about all of a sudden. They showed this fake affection quite often as it was, but right now, it seemed a bit extra... it was as if Bondita was clinging on to Anirudh. 

"Kaka..." Anirudh said, "The truth is... it's..."

"Kakasasurji..." Bondita finally spoke up, "Pati Babu and I... we are... going to..." She gulped nervously too. 

"WHAT?" Kaka asked, "Why are you mumbling?"

"KAKA, BONDITA'S PREGNANT," Anirudh finally screamed, and squeezed his eyes shut, bringing his free hand to his head and rubbing it, his headache only increasing now. 

Kaka looked at Anirudh with wide eyes when he said this, falling a few steps back with shock.

"Shiv Shiv Shiv... seriously Anirudh?" Kaka asked, now sounding heartbroken, "This is the length you are stretching your fake affection drama? You want to break your Kaka's heart for the umpteenth time? Do you know how much you've tormented me for all these years already? Don't you feel even an ounce of compassion?"

Somnath rolled his eyes, and Batuk just watched with awe, wondering what an entertaining family he had -- he didn't even feel the urge to go and be entertained by his romance novels anymore. 

"I... I told you... now it's not my fault if you don't believe it," Anirudh just said, and he looked down at Bondita, who still had her face pressed against his chest. "Let's go Bondita."

Bondita looked up at Anirudh, and he brought his hand to her head, gently caressing it for a moment. He would have to take care of this baby... this one who was cuddling into him right now. Somehow, he would have to make sure she was okay. 

Kaka was not his priority. Bondita was. 

"These jokes will never work on me!" Kaka huffed, and he stomped his cane, glaring at Batuk, "You're in on this too, right? After doing such indecent acts in public with your Boudi --" 

Anirudh looked up at Kaka, losing it now. 

"INDECENT?" Anirudh suddenly screamed, making Bondita jump against him. He gulped, glancing down at Bondita and gently pulled her off him, not meaning to startle her. "I... I mean... Kaka, Batuk and Bondita aren't indecent for hugging." 

"Anirudh, you pulled Bahu off him yourself!" Kaka said, threatening him with his eyes. "Clearly you were disturbed!"

"That's because I just told you, she's pregnant!" Anirudh screamed, "I didn't want her to sit on the floor or hurt the baby, so I did that! It had nothing to do with Batuk and Bondita hugging!" 

"Oh, so the hug was also an elaborate plan to fool me! I see, now Batuk has joined hands with you two to cause me mental stress!" Kaka accused. 

Somnath rolled his eyes again. 

Batuk was getting more offended by the second! His nephew was not an elaborate plan! 

Even Manika placed her hand on her head, wondering why the Roy Choudharys were so daft. Vikram was right, this wasn't just a trait in Anirudh, but the entire Roy Choudharys. They were incredibly late in understanding things!

"Da, if Anirudh is saying that Bahu is pregnant, then she probably is," Binoy said, and he glanced at Anirudh, saying, "Congratulations Anirudh. Now, you have started to live a little normally. I'm happy for you." 

Anirudh inhaled sharply, glaring at his Baba. 

"Normally?" Anirudh yelled, getting fired up, "GETTING A GIRL PREGNANT AT THIS AGE IS NORMAL, BABA?"

Binoy sighed heavily, not wanting to be a part of this. 

"Da, Anirudh's serious, you are going to be a grandpa," Binoy just said to his brother. "Just look at the way he is worked up right now!"  

"HE IS DOING A DRAMA!" Kaka bellowed, "They're all only fooling me! No, I will never believe such a thing!" 

Somnath rolled his eyes again and said, "Kaka, I've told you myself, haven't I --" 

"Yes, and you're a fraudulent doctor who looks at Shiv Shiv Shiv, disgraceful images of women! And your doctor friends at the hospital, don't think that I don't know what they're upto! They're all fraudulent!" 

"Bondita, let's... let's go," Anirudh just said, unable to bear this drama. "It's not my problem, if Kaka doesn't want to believe this." 

"Jethji, it's true," Sampooorna tried too, "Bondita is really pregnant." 

"WILL THIS WHOLE FAMILY TRY TO FOOL ME?" Kaka yelled, glaring at each and every one of them in the room. 

Bondita glanced at Anirudh and said, "Kakasasurji seems to have a lot of mental pain due to this, Pati Babu... let me try and help." 

Anirudh was confused, but he just gave her a nod. If this last try didn't work, then he would take Bondita upstairs, by carrying her if he must! This drama was probably not good for the baby either! 

Bondita went up to her Kakasasurji and said, "You trust me, right, Kakasasurji? You said you will trust me?"

Kaka glanced at Bondita. He had said he would try his hardest to trust his Bahu, and until today he was still trying. 

Bondita took his hand and with a smile, her eyes getting wet, she placed it on her belly, over her saree. 

"It's true Kakasasurji," she said breathlessly. "It's really true." 

When Anirudh saw Bondita doing this, for some reason, his heart felt slightly warm. But he pushed those feelings away once again. 

Kaka just looked at Bondita with shock. 

"R - really B - Bahu?" he asked, afraid to believe this and get heartbroken again. 

"Shotti, Kakasasurji," Bondita whispered. 

"But... how?" Kaka asked, "You and Anirudh never... had those... relations." 

"Of course they did," Somnath muttered under his breath, "Wild kind of relations." 

Batuk rolled his eyes, "Kaka, you're lucky you believe that! You didn't have to hear about the BIG D! Your ears always got saved!" 

Som glanced at Batuk and murmured, "His ears and eyes got saved, but at the cost of his brain." 

Anirudh turned to glare at Batuk, not in the mood to hear any of his nonsense right now. 

Bondita grinned and she said, "There hasn't been a distance between me and my Pati Babu for a long time, Kakasasurji. A very long time. We... have crossed every limitation in our love. Even the physical limits." 

Kaka looked at his Bahu with incredibly wide eyes now. 

"R - really..." he asked, still in a state of disbelief. 

Bondita nodded, "Yes, Kakasasurji. We have. Each and every one of them." 

Kaka brought his hand to his head, unable to process this. 

How was this possible? 

"B - but you said... it's b - boring, you never want to do it Bahu. And Anirudh has never had that capacity to... do those things to you," Kaka said, sounding heavily traumatized. 

Sampoorna hissed, "Jethji, you were wrong. He had the capacity all along." 

Anirudh felt his heart get heavy upon hearing Sampoorna Maa's words, and he looked down. 

"It was boring, until I did it!" Bondita said boldly, and then her heart ached, as she thought about her Pati Babu, "Well... I got ahead of myself... too... in my feelings... in my love..." 

Tears prickled her eyes suddenly and she said, "But don't worry about that Kakasasurji! You're really going to be a grandpa." 

Kaka shook his head, unable to believe this. 

"Everyone... is... lying... to... me..." he just said adamantly, and all of a sudden he felt light-headed. 

His blood pressure dropped, and he fell backwards, crashing right into Binoy, who nearly fell over with him! 

"Oh my God, did Kaka just faint when he found out you were pregnant?" Batuk gasped at his Boudi. 

"Kaka!" Som just yelled, rushing to him and checking to make sure he was okay, as Binoy laid him down on the floor. 

Kaka stirred with his eyes closed on the floor. 

Anirudh and Bahu... had those relations all along...? Really? 

He was getting a grandchild through Anirudh and Bahu? Really?

It was too much to take in. Too much shock. Too hard to process, considering how much he blocked this out of his mind for so long.  

Bondita also rushed to him, and she was about to bend to the floor, to see if he was okay, but Anirudh went over to her and grabbed her arm before she could do such a thing. 

"What is it Som? What happened to him?" Anirudh asked. 

"Just low blood pressure it seems. He's fine," Somnath said, shaking his head. 

"I'm... getting... a waaris?" Kaka just mumbled from the floor, "Lies... all... lies..." 

Then his eyes closed. 

"It's true Zamindar Babu," a royal and feminine voice said at the entrance of the haveli. "We have both been promoted." 

Kalindi Das walked in, Sumati beside her, and Kaka's eyes suddenly opened, as he turned to look at Thakumaa, his mouth gaping open. 

Behind them, Chandrachur and Tupur walked in too -- Chandrachur's face still wounded, as he shot an angry glare at Anirudh Roy Choudhary. Thakumaa had brought him here to apologize.

Of course, Kaka couldn't register this so easily! He had to go in circles, until he finally hit the ground with the truth... and who would be the best one to convince him, other than Miss Kalindi Das?
