(Y/n)'s P.O.V

I woke up and blink my sleepy eyes tiredly. I glance over at my alarm clock on the nightstand and-- WAIT WHAT?! IT'S 10:48! I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR CLASS!!! I jump out of bed and quickly undress and change into something decent. I grab my backpack and an apple and run out the door. My first class starts at 11:00, and my dorm is all the way across campus! I rush past other students and Professors and quickly eat my apple since they didn't allow food in the lecture hall.

"Hey, Y/n! Are you gonna--" "Sorry Lexi! Can't Talk! I'm Gonna Be Late!" (Sorry if your name is Lexi. Just change the character's name if your uncomfortable) I shouted as I ran past one of my friends. Lexi was a person I met during Student Orientation. We both got lost during the tour of the dorms and we somehow became really good friends. Even though she can be a bit pushy sometimes. I look at my watch and see that the time is 10:56, I only have four minutes! As I sprint to the building where my class was held. I look down at my watch once again and see that I have two minutes to spare. I wipe the sweat from my forehead and calmly open the doors and cross the threshold of learning. I walk down the long isle and take my seat.

(Time skip to after the lecture)

I yawn and stretch my arms. I open my backpack and put away my notebooks and pens, zip it back up, and sling my backpack on my back. I walk out of the hall just to be practically tackled to the ground. "Y/n! Why didn't you talk to me?!" Lexi said. "I'm sorry, Lex. I was going to be late for the lecture and--" "Well, whatever. I was gonna ask you something really important!" Lexi interrupted as she helped me up. "Whats so important that you needed to tackle me?" "I was going to ask if you wanted to come with me and a couple of my friends to go camp out this weekend, AND! Before you say no, I know you don't have work this weekend so you can't use that excuse!" Ugh... I hate it when she does this to me. But she's right. I've been using the 'work' excuse to get away from her shenanigans for a while now. Besides, She said that she was just camping with a few friends so how bad could it be? "Alright, alright. I can see if I can come with." Lexi squealed with delight. Lexi can be such a child when see gets her way. "Great! I'll call Lee and Andrew and tell them to bring an extra tent!" My eyes went wide for a second "Whoa, whoa, whoa! you never said anything about guys coming along!" Lexi giggled slightly, "Don't worry. They're my guys friends and they're boyfriends with each other, so its not like they'd try to make a move on you." My mind calms down a bit after receiving that information. "Well, if that's the case. Then I'd probably feel okay camping with two guys and my best friend"

Lexi smiled and gave me a gentle, playful, punch in the arm. "Now that's the spirit!" She says candidly. "Meet me at my house Tomorrow at 2:00 pm. and pack stuff like sunblock, bug spray, a change of clothes, and some shoes that you are comfortable hiking in." I nod, "alright. See ya tomorrow, Lexi." I say as I begin to walk away. "See ya!" Lexi shouts to me. God, I haven't been camping in such a long time. I better get packing as soon as I get back to my dorm.

(Time skip to the next afternoon

I double check everything in my bag to make sure I didn't forget anything. The last thing I did was say goodbye to my stuffed bear, Tom, and locked the door. Lexi's apartment wasn't that far and it would be a waste to drive, so walking seemed like the best option. The walk was pretty nice, considering i live in the middle of a city. "Uh... lets see... apartment number A226." I search around and finally find her place. I knock on the door and wait for a response. When the door opens, i'm greeted by a tall handsome guy with dirty blonde hair, wearing a blue and white flannel. "Oh hey! you must be Y/n! Lexi's being talking about you non stop! I'm Lee." I smile at him and reply cheerfully " 'Sup Lee, I'm happy to meet you" Lee smiles and opens the door wider. "Sorry. Where are my manners? Come on in. Me and Andrew already have everything important packed into the car, so you can just leave your pack in the pile over there" Lee points to the other backpacks that were lying in a neat pile. I walk in and take off my backpack and place it on the floor with the others.

I look around and see another guy sitting on the couch. I only assumed that this was Andrew. He had long-ish brown hair and some stubble on his chin and cheeks. He kinda looked like Sam Winchester just with a more of a rectangular face but the same great jaw line. I walk up to him and he smiles. "Heya. Are you Lexi's other friend?" "Yeah, I'm Y/n. and your Andrew, right?" He sits up and stretches his arms, "The one and only" he says proudly. all of a sudden, a girly voice yells thought the house. "Alright Guys! Lets get these bags into the car so we can head out!" Lexi a marched out of the short hallway wearing blue denim shorts and an army green tank top. the guys grab the remaining backpacks and walk out to Lexi's car. They were really nice guys. I wonder why Lexi never told me about them? I sat in the back seat with Lee and looked out the window while Lexi and Andrew navigated us to our camp spot.

(Time skip to after the car ride)

"Okay, The last tent is set up." said Lee. I looked and saw three tents, one green, the other blue, and the last one red. The red tent was a little bigger than the other two tents though. "Me and Lee will take the red one. Lexi and Y/n, you guys decide which one you want." said Andrew. "Hey, Y/n. I'll let you take first pick." Lexi says as she drops twigs and branches for kindling for the campfire. "I can take the blue one, if that's alright with you Lex." Y/n replied. "Oh yeah, its totally fine! Green is my favorite color anyways." Lexi smiled and opened the green tent to drop off her backpack. I head over to my tent and do the same.

For the next couple of hours, we take a hike though the woods, we found a trail that lead to a gorgeous crystal blue lake, and we played a few games together like 'Toss the Pine cone', 'I Spy' and a couple others that were completely off the wall. It was really fun! but when the sun began to set, We headed back to our campsite. Andrew started a fire and Lee brought out Hot Dogs and marshmallows. We ate, we sang, we told jokes, this was the greatest thing have ever done with friends! It was like we were practically family. But as the sky grew black and the crickets started to chirp, Lexi leaned in and said quite spookily "Have you guys heard the story about 'The Markiplier Manor Murder'?"

(Trigger Warning in this paragraph!!!) Lee, Andrew, and I look at each other curiously. We shook our head in almost perfect unison. Lexi smirked. "well, That place was built in the late 1920's. A man known as Markiplier lived there and held extravagant parties there too. His wife was an occultist or a fortune teller or something, and they sometimes held rituals in that very house. But one night, while Mark was looking for his wife, he found her kissing his best friend in the courtyard. That caused him so much remorse, he tried to commit suicide. He took a knife and stabbed himself in the chest over and over again, 37 times in fact. But he didn't die. He drank poison, he was beaten brutally, he hung himself, drowned himself and shot himself. But he would always come back to his broken disheveled shell of a body... He eventually gave up on trying to kill himself and use his curse to his advantage. He invited all his closest friends to a poker party, and that included the man who stole his wife away. He and his friends got drunk and partied the night away. but the next day, his friends found his dead body on the floor. And after that, one by one, all the guests either died or were driven insane. Some say that while Mark and his wife were summoning spirits, they may have released a demon and that's what kept bringing him back. They say the demon still haunts that very house, waiting... for it's. Next. Victim..."

Lee hugged Andrew's arm in fear and Andrew comforted him as best he could. I'm pretty sure Andrew is the alpha in their relationship at this point. I scoff and try to lighten the mood, "Like that could ever really happen. C'mon, A man who can't die, Demons, occultists? Yeah right!" I say with sass and total disbelief. "You don't believe me, Y/n? Why do you think I chose this camp spot?" We all look at her in confusion. "Across the lake, You can see Markiplier Manor." Lexi points to an area across the lake and, sure enough, there it was. "They say if you look very carefully, you can see the demon walking around in the darkness... Welp, I'm going to bed. Have fun sleeping tonight~" she says the last part with a wink and goes into her tent. Lee puts out the fire and him and Andrew both head into their tent. I however, stay out a little while longer.

"There's no way that can be true... can it?"
