When he was fourteen, George used to watch sumo matches on the Telly, hoping one day to participate as well. And after hearing from his friend Paul McChubby that he could get George to be a part of John Larddon's team, George began to gain and train for days on end (soon weighing over 550 pounds), hoping that John would let him in. John originally wanted him to back off, seeing that he was only fifteen at the time, but after showing off his skill, John reluctantly let him join the group.

Despite being rather short tempered at times (He sat on a member of the paparazzi once and nearly crushed him to death), George is actually rather docile and enjoys gardening in his spare time.
