After eating the pancakes, Suyeon and Jiwoo went towards the bus stop, where Hayun was waiting for them.

"Hey, Hayun-aah!" Suyeon cheered and hugged her tightly. Hayun groaned and said, "Suyeon, do you plan to stop the oxygen flow in my body?" Suyeon chuckled and let her go. Hayun turned to Jiwoo and hugged her tenderly.

Jiwoo looked at Hayun in confusion. "What happened, Hayun?" Hayun broke the hug and patted her head. "I've known you since childhood, darling. You don't always need to tell me how you feel; I can just understand it by looking at your eyes," she said, smiling softly. Jiwoo smiled and hugged her tightly. Hayun chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"Yah, guys! Don't you want to go to school?" she said, fake scolding. Suyeon and Jiwoo chuckled. Soon the three of them went to school by bus.

AT THE SCHOOL 

The trio was walking towards their classroom. "Hey, guys!" Eunwoo said, coming from behind. "Hey!" Suyeon replied, and Hayun and Jiwoo just waved. "You girls are early today?" he asked, walking with them towards their classroom. "Oh, we just got up early today, so we thought we should come early," Suyeon answered.

"Oh!" Eunwoo said. "Well, do you guys have a history lecture first?" he asked. The girls nodded in response. "Oh great! I have history too!" he exclaimed. Suyeon chuckled and said, "But I don't think we will be able to talk or even look at each other in class because Professor Thorn is damn strict!" she said, making Hayun and Jiwoo chuckle.

"Suyeon, don't scare Eunwoo!" Hayun said. Suyeon just chuckled, and all of them went inside the classroom.

Suyeon and Jiwoo sat on the middle bench while Hayun and Eunwoo sat behind them. Some other students were there too, discussing among themselves, and some were still arriving as there was still time.

Soon J-Hope and Namjoon came into the classroom, chatting with each other.

As usual, Hayun was sleeping on the desk, and Suyeon, being the sunflower of the group, was talking with Jiwoo, who was listening to her intently. J-Hope and Namjoon got seated on the next seats to Jiwoo and Hayun.

J-Hope turned around and smiled brightly at Jiwoo. "Hi! It's nice to see you again! And thanks again for the help yesterday!" he said, smiling. "Oh, it's nothing much, and nice to see you too," Jiwoo replied a little awkwardly (she's an introvert). Suyeon was just confused about the situation.

"And how do you guys know each other?" Suyeon asked, being the curious one. "Actually, she helped me yesterday. I didn't know where the dance classroom was, and she helped me find it," he replied. "And by the way, I am Jung Hoseok!" he introduced himself to Suyeon.

"Lee Suyeon," she said. He smiled and shook hands with her. "And by the way, this is my friend Kim Namjoon, and you guys probably know him as he is also a new student who came with me yesterday," Hoseok said. "Hi!" Namjoon said shortly.

That's when Professor Thorn entered, making the whole class go silent. He went straight to his desk, set his books down, and looked at the class. "Phones on my table and put them on silent mode. I don't want any unnecessary disturbances!" he said curtly.

The students in the classroom groaned mentally and placed their phones on the table. "And I learned that we have new students; please stand up," he said without any expression. Hoseok, Namjoon, and Eunwoo stood up.

"I am Professor Thorn, and I don't want any unnecessary blabbering and noise in the classroom. Submit your work on time and always be on time in my class. And if you are late, then don't even think about entering my class and go straight to bring your parents," he said. The three of them nodded. "Sit down," he said, and they complied.

"So, we're learning about..." And he started to teach the topic. Every student was listening attentively, not wanting to make him angry. As he completed writing down everything on the board, he turned towards the class.

"Now you will be paired with a student in this classroom, and you have to do an assignment on the topic I taught today. I don't want it copied from Google or any website. I want a whole research and neat presentation," he said, looking at the class. The class nodded in response.

"Now, I will pick random roll numbers, and they will have to do the assignment together and submit it by next Saturday," he said, calling random roll numbers. Suyeon and J-Hope got paired, and Hayun and Namjoon. Now it was Jiwoo's turn.

Professor Thorn called out her roll number first, and she stood up and waited for the professor to call out the next roll number. "25! Who is 25?" he asked. From the backbench of the classroom, Ian stood up. He nodded shortly and sat down again. Jiwoo also sat down.

"And with this, today's class is over. Make sure to complete the assignment since its marks will be added to your yearly exam's marks," he said shortly and left. The students soon went to their assignment partners and started discussing their assignments.

"Woo, what about you? Is Ian going to be of any help with the assignment?" Suyeon asked, worried. Jiwoo just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well, first I have to talk with him." Suyeon nodded.

Jiwoo stood up and went towards the back bench where Ian was sitting alone, reading something on his phone.

"Uhm... hey, Ian," Jiwoo started. Ian looked up without any expression on his face and said, "Don't worry about the assignment. I will do my part, and you do yours," he said blankly. "Actually, we have to do a research together!" she said a little awkwardly.

Ian looked at her for a brief second and nodded his head. "When should we do it?" he asked. "Uhm, is it okay for you on Saturday? Since we have a half-day," she suggested. He thought for a moment and nodded his head. "Let's go to a cafe for it. And please just come alone," he said. Jiwoo just nodded.

Then Ian stood up and started going outside the classroom when he bumped into Eunwoo. "Oh, I am sorry!" Eunwoo apologized, picking up the books that fell from Ian's hand. But Ian yanked his hand away and picked up his books. "No need to touch my things. I don't like it when people do that," he said coldly and left.

Everyone in the classroom watched the scene, and after Ian left, they started discussing it. Jiwoo, who was watching this scene, was utterly shocked. She went towards Eunwoo and asked him if he was okay.

"Aish! Don't worry about me. It's all my fault after all. I was walking while talking with someone," he said, smiling softly.

"But, Eunwoo! This is wrong! Even if it was your fault, you apologized and were trying to help him. But he...! Do you still think he is not weird, Jiwoo-yah?" Suyeon said, frustrated. "Suyeonie..." Jiwoo was about to say something, but Eunwoo interrupted.

"Ah, it's okay, Suyeon! Maybe he was in a bad mood. And some people don't like it when others touch their things, so it's natural, okay? And we shouldn't judge people like this!" he explained. Suyeon sighed in frustration, while J-Hope and Namjoon were watching them.

Hayun got up and patted Suyeon's back. "Aish! Don't be frustrated now. If Eunwoo is okay with it, then don't overthink it. So let's go to the cafeteria. I am starving!" Hayun said dramatically.

All three of them (Suyeon, Jiwoo, and Eunwoo) chuckled. "Okay, okay, let's go!" Eunwoo said cheerfully. And they were now going towards the cafeteria.

But our Jiwoo felt a sparkling moment when Eunwoo did not blame Ian for everything and was being considerate. She didn't know what it was, because it was just for a brief moment, but that feeling... she had never felt it before.
